Honestly after reading a few negative recent reviews, I was regretting booking this holiday. But we had an absolute wonderful 10 days here. I requested the room to be on the Golf course facing side as we had a young baby with us. I'm so pleased we did! It was so much more peaceful compared to the rooms facing the pools/bar etc. Plus the lifts on this wing were much more efficient than the other side. The caring and friendly staff made this trip so special for us. Loved the facilities too, great choices between the main pool, lazy river/swim up bar and the beaches. The Cafe was perfect for good coffee and if you wanted extra treats (open 06:30-21:30) and part of the All Inclusive board. So many choices of places to eat throughout the hotel complex ensured we were able to vary our food experiences every day. (Highly recommend the Saturday evening Jamaican buffet night on the beach). The room we had was ideal for the three of us. Lovely bathroom, enormous comfortable bed and a balcony with lovely views of the golf course and sea. Unfortunately the cot/crib we were supplied was unusable for us, as way too large and unable to reach the mattress safely over the fixed sides. I highly recommend the all-inclusive package of this hotel and we will definitely be returning.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Rose Hall and Spa for a wedding event, and it was a wonderful experience overall.
The property is truly stunning, with lush greenery, private beaches, and a water park that's perfect for the Caribbean weather. I loved the variety of water activities available, and the entertainment events in the evenings were a great way to unwind. The private cabanas on the beach were a nice touch, and the staff were always eager to help.
The food was decent, with the buffet restaurant offering a standard all-inclusive experience. However, the other restaurants on the property truly shone, with The Three Palms being the standout for me - well worth the $15 per head reservation fee. The coffee bar was also a great spot for a quick pick-me-up. Don't miss their Chicken Patties.
Where the property fell short was in the rooms themselves. While clean and pleasant, they were clearly in need of an upgrade, feeling a bit dated and worn. The bathroom was cramped, and the design of the swinging shower door was quite awkward with unnecessary wall in between toilet and the sink. Unfortunately, the temperature regulation in the shower was also a bit wonky, and despite calling housekeeping, they weren't able to fix it during my stay and I stayed for 5 days.
Another minor complaint was the shuttle service from the airport, which was arranged through JTL. It took a while to fill up the bus before we could leave, which wasn't ideal.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Hilton Rose Hall and Spa for its beautiful property, great staff, and delicious food. Just be aware that the rooms could use a bit of TLC, and plan accordingly. If you spent more time out than in room, you will surely have a nice time with your friends and family.

Great place for the whole family. Very family friendly. We had a large group ages 9months-82yrs. It was a great time. The water park pool is the best. Beautiful property. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the food was 3 stars. Seaside was good, breakfast at the buffet was good, was not impressed with rum factory, and dinner buffet was hit or miss. So if food is not top priority, this was perfect.

Love this place and will definitely go back. Location is amazing, no "get off the plane and ride on a bus for 2 hours". Resort is perfect sized, compact but plenty of room, full of people but didn't have to fight lines everywhere. Kid friendly, but still "fun" if you like to party. But most importantly, the people were so amazing and friendly. So helpful. Great place!

My recent stay at Hilton Rose Hall in Jamaica was disappointing due to several issues with the property and its amenities. Despite visiting in 2018 and noting the need for updates then, it appears little has changed. During this stay, we experienced numerous problems that significantly impacted our overall experience.
Upon arrival, we discovered that our booked ocean view room was unavailable. The hotel accommodated us in another room and provided a $100 resort credit, which was appreciated. However, the following day, when we were moved to a different room, we encountered what appeared to be a sewage backup in the shower. This was incredibly off-putting, leading to another room change and additional $100 resort credit. The third room, while satisfactory, still did not offer a true ocean view, and the toilet had a visible streak that was not properly cleaned, which was gross.
The property's general maintenance and cleanliness were subpar. The rooms are outdated, and the cleanliness is lacking, with hair found in the shower and on the floor. The dining area is also in poor condition, with the drop ceiling removed and air ducts exposed and covered in dust. Additionally, the beach chairs were stained and unappealing.
Operational issues were evident, especially with long lines for check-in and check-out due to the desk never being fully staffed. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, these systemic issues overshadowed their efforts.
On the positive side, the food, beach, and pool were the highlights of our stay. The authentic Jamaican cuisine was outstanding, and the overall property has great potential if these significant issues are addressed. The staff's friendliness and hospitality were commendable and added some positivity to an otherwise frustrating experience.
In summary, Hilton Rose Hall needs urgent capital improvements and better operational management to avoid losing customers. Despite its beautiful location and great culinary offerings, the current state of the property and the lack of proper maintenance and cleanliness are major concerns. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and implements necessary updates to restore the property to its former glory.
