Fred Coloe
Lovely hotel, great location and plenty of good restaurants inside and near the hotel. Staff are lovely too. Two minor quibbles. Not enough parasols at the pool and no table service for coffee/tea at breakfast. Cups are small and difficult to carry. Machines only, no option of getting a pot of coffee. Means going up and down constantly.

This is our fourth stay as a family of five. This year has been a challenge as much of what was included before seems to have been removed. We ended up paying for lunches in different restaurants around the resort as the buffet got boring after a few days. The marina area used to buzz in the evenings; now, it's dead, and the service is appalling. There are the same staff as before, but something seems wrong with the area's management. The evening entertainment is dated and totally out of step with the clientele. It's a shame as a resort, as the location, most facilities, and staff are excellent. We will probably come again, as the kids like the familiarity, but it will not be all-inclusive.

It was a nice location, but I found I was put in block 6 , which is far away from reception and the main restaurant, which I found to be more like a works canteen environment, having to wait and take you place on line for your daily food. Coffee machines which never worked . Basically once your at your table, your left to wander about looking for your meal along with everyone else.
No table Service at all .
They call it buffet food service
Oh and if you need the bathroom whilst by the pool side , there a good 15 minute walk.
So not a place to relax plenty of walking !!!

Great hotel all staff were great, had a very enjoyable holiday. Special mention- Vince the Bex - Very kind and welcoming. Went into detail of all available activities on offer around hotel. Recommend swimming with sea lions 😄

We loved our weeks stay and it was perfect for 4 toddlers. Great location right by the beach and restaurants with plenty of pools to access. Playground by the main buffet restaurant good for kids to climb while everyone finishes dinner. Rooms were clean and well furnished, kitchenette sparse (e.g. no bottle opener) but did the job. Staff extremely lovely and helpful. As others have said the Castillo buffet isn't as good as others we've been to, but it has choice and it was better than the Mar buffet which had long lines and felt too busy. One heated pool for the kids otherwise cold pools. One huge plus is the accessibility. Ramps everywhere including to beach toilets, open concourses. Great for prams and mobility scooters.
