This place is AMAZING! There isn't anything you're missing when you're here. The staff make sure you have everything you need. They go the extra mile for each and every one of us.
There are many places to eat lots of choices and everything is absolutely delicious......
The pools are clean the children's areas are clean... The gym is clean
The manager Carlos really want the extra mile when I had an issue...... I appreciate him taking time out of his busy schedule

Everything about the resort was fantastic. We were having great service all week, but on our last night at the resort, Alfredo Tinah and Angel Pastranal blew our minds at the Colonial Buffet! They made us feel like royalty with how much they were checking in on us and making sure we had everything we wanted or needed. It’s too bad we didn’t have them every other night as well! Definitely will come back to Barceló!

In general, we were pleased with the resort. Kid friendly, great food selection, many entertainment activities but at the same time not noisy. Most importantly, the resort was pretty clean, the workers were always cleaning. Very green and well designed resort either, you could reach anything from anywhere in minutes. All the side walks were covered which provides shade in hot sunny days and rain cover. Staff was very nice and friendly. Beach for colonial and tropical is nice, still few rocky spots but in return those spots were good for snorkeling. We will definitely go there again.

I visited Kyoto steakhouse and everything was excellent. Angel was our chef, he put on a wonderful show. Maria Dzib and Roybeli were our waitresses. They took great care of us. Definitely my favorite restaurant at the resort so far!
