Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites

The highlight of our stay were the staff who are attentive and friendly. From the reception to restaurant staff, everyone did their best to ensure that our stay is as good as possible. Refreshing welcoming drink and very knowledgeable reception staff who provided all information we needed during our stay. The rooms could benefit some refurbishment, altough this was not a big issue for us, they seem to have a charm but looked a bit dated. The dedicated pool for the Black Parrot suites guests has wonderful views especially during sunset and afternoon tea and cookies by the pool are a nice treat. Dinner options were plenty and varied during our stay. Restaurant staff were nice and always proudly presented their dishes. Check out time is bit too early - 10am, but this seem to be a standard on the island.

The hotel is incredible. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and had just the best view possible. The food was pretty good also and the staff very friendly. We recomend on reserv some good time to stay in the hotel. The pools are great, with beautiful views and also there are some complimentary activities, like kayaking, and others. The sunset view is just amazing.

Enjoyed this hotel so much on our honeymoon! Beautiful hotel. Right by the ocean! Great food and drinks - and our favorite thing was the amazing service of the hotel team and the special treatment of the manager Ahmed!! He was so SO kind and helped us with anything we needed with a big smile! We felt like we were around family in this hotel! Thank you, definitely recommend it ❤️

We unfortunately were only able to stay two nights at Coco de Mer, but still had a great experience. Coco de Mer is very modern and clean. The staff members are a dream, they're super friendly and helpful. On our arrival we were greeted by one of the directors Ash and manager Ahmed, and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable around them. We've mentioned in our booking that we were vegan and requested if they could take that into consideration and of course they catered to that. Right away at the beginning during our check-in Ahmed took notice of that and even called the chef for us. One evening the dinner was a la carte and the chef whipped up a vegan dinner menu for us and the other evening dinner was buffet night and even here he took us for a tour around the buffet and showed us what we could eat - and there were lots of choices! Breakfast is buffet style and also has a lot of choices, if by any chance there isn't the staff would definitely cater to that and cook something separately. On our departure day our ferry back to Mahe left a bit later than check-out and Ahmed tried his best to accommodate to that also and checked availability with the reception. Lucky for us we were able to check out a bit later! During breakfast and dinner the staff are always very attentive and taking their time to have chat with us sharing their stories and give out advices and recommendations on the island. Harry and Babar were super friendly and accomodating. We had a very special connection with Babar, he was so so caring! On a side note to my fellow germans: Ahmed, Harry und Babar können super deutsch! Special thanks to Ahmed and Barbar and the chef, whose name we unfortunately forgot, for making our experience at Coco de Mer so much better than we already would have.

The reception at the Coco de Mer hotel was divine after a tiring journey from Slovenia. Upon arrival, Mr. Ashley (whom I must commend for his guest relations; his positive energy assured us that we would be well taken care of during our vacation) took care of our luggage, we received refreshing towels and a cocktail to help us relax immediately. Mr. Ahmed then explained everything there is to do in and around the hotel, including options for booking excursions through them or via an agency, making us feel like one big family. I must commend Mr. Ahmed and his colleague for their daily availability and positive energy, evident through their constant smiles. On the second day, we asked Mr. Niarkar from the hotel bar if we could try real coconut and drink from it, and he went out of his way to climb a tree and bring us coconuts, incredible. Both he and Mr. Anura from the bar, along with all the other staff (we couldn't remember all the names, but if we could, I would mention each one because they are all so friendly and energetic that you immediately forget any worries), truly made an effort to ensure that our experience with them was the best it could be, and it was. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, catering to everyone's tastes. Again, I must highlight the staff's interest in us as guests, taking the time to chat, advise, and share their interesting life stories, providing a genuine experience. The receptionist, whose name I don't know, organized a trip to a nearby town and a hair appointment, and it was great—whatever you wish for, you get. Life at Coco de Mer hotel in the Seychelles truly slows down, making you forget about everything else, but it passes too quickly, and it's time to go home. We definitely recommend this hotel, and we will definitely return, but next time for much longer. Thank you to everyone at Coco de Mer hotel for this wonderful experience.
