Nice hotel for good price for Manhattan with adequate room size (bigger than others there). Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff, they kept our luggage before check-in and also after the check-out. Metro line A (that goes to JFK) entrance just right next to the hotel, which was a big plus as we didn't wanted a ride/car due traffic jams, but metro was quick and with a/c, really a plus!

We were mildly surprised and very pleased with this hotel.
The subway is located right at the restaurant door running uptown and downtown. When going to the Natural History Museum or to the WTC, the C train was our go to ride.
The staff at the door were great. The rooms are clean. They happily gave us towels when requested as well. Very friendly.
The Botte Italian inspired restaurant is clean and has great food. The portions are just right! Dinners are excellent and they even have a Happy Hour for those who like to have a drink in the evening. I highly recommend getting the breakfast package when booking your stay.
There is a small park nearby with trees and there is a police outpost nearby too, so it feels safe. There is a $1.50 cheese pizza within walking distance and a few other quick meal stops if Italian isn't your thing.
Definitely stay here! Its clean, quiet and value for your money!

This was the nicest place I've ever stayed in NYC, plus the service was top notch. It was 3 a.m, and i realized i forgot my contact lense solution and they happened to have some, at 3am. Nespresso in the room was great! On top of that, Mitchell was the best, give this man a raise!

You might want to skip paying for the included breakfast. To get it, you have to pick up a coupon in the morning, and the line forms behind people checking in. The options are quite limited. Like, fruit is a main, not a side. I think I would have had a better experience ordering off the menu.

the rooms were fine. the location was fine. service was terrible. the elevators were so incredibly slow — most of the time there was a line for the elevator and we had to wait 20 minutes just to get up to our floor. most people just used the stairs. only one elevator was working while the other one was off and on (we were stuck in it one of the times it broke). the room keys didn’t work very well, we constantly had to keep getting new ones because they stopped working — which sucks after going all the way up the stairs.
