Jewel was an extraordinary experience. Their service was top notch. The restaurants had delicious food every day. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with mature trees. The beach was gorgeous. The rooms were modern and immaculate. It's an adult only resort and it showed. The pools were not deep which made getting to the pool bars super easy. I mean, who wants to swim with 2 Bob Marleys? The pools had sections with seats for a couple to share a drink. We're already planning for next year. You need to stay here, you will not regret it .

Our vacation was awesome! The resort was more than we expected, the room, the food, the property and the staff were exceptional. We had a wonderful trip and will be back very soon. If you are looking to get out and explore ask for Rick at the lobby area, he is the real deal, a great tour driver and he will take care of you!!

I would never recommend this resort to anyone. The view looking out at the water and the sunset is the only thing worth talking about. Some of the staff was very nice but there are some staff here that are rude. There is no top shelf alcohol. When bar does run out of the liquor you are drinking they will not go grab another bottle unless you ask for management. They will also tell you to go to another bar to get what you need. One day I asked for whiskey and the bar tender brought me tequila and said here just drink this. There is no entertainment during the day, there are workers that walk around with the entertainment shirt on but I’m not too sure what they actually do because it sure isn’t entertaining. The music playing at the pools are low. Overall this was a very boring resort. If you are use to sandals it is highly recommended to not even try coming here you will be disappointed!!

About two (2) weeks ago, one of my sisters and I stayed here for 3 nights to relax and celebrate my birthday. My experience was great ! From the moment we entered the property to the moment we left, we were treated with such grace and respect that it is worth mentioning. I love the fact that the environment was clean and relatively quiet. It is one of the smaller resorts so it was not crowded. We had the DND sign up for the entire time we stayed and on the second night, someone from the front desk called to enquire if we were doing Ok and needed anything. They even called to wish me a happy birthday ! Breakfast and dinner at the Platinum Restaurant was awesome ! (We ate there for my birthday).The morning staff was great ! ( i'm forgetting the names now) but Nerressa, Nasheria, Serita and Marsha (some of the night staff at the same restaurant ensured dinner on my birth night was extra special. Barrington, March and Kaylan from JPC were just awesome ! Aneta from the front was also very kind as she took her time to explain all the birthday packages upon our request. If I had the time and all the names I would definitely mention everyone that I interacted with. My only disappointment was that I expected a wider variety of carribbean food choices at the Coral Cafe and the Jerk hut was closed the entire time I was there. All things considered, I would recommend if you're looking for a great place to relax without the extra crowd and noise.

The resort itself is okay, there are only 3 pools and the 8 days I was there the piano bar was only opened twice. The club NEVER opened during my stay and the bartenders were rude. The bartenders would run out of a liquor and NOT replace it, they would just say there is no more until you get a manager to take care of it. If one bar doesn't have what you’re drinking rather than the bartender making accommodations for you as the guest they would just say they do not have it and to get the cheaper option or nothing at all. The food is so so, not many options for breakfast or lunch. Dinner has a little more options. The entertainment was minimal, there was no daily entertainment and the entertainment at night was limited. I would rather go to a riu than come back to this resort. Would NOT recommend for anyone!
