Possibly THE BEST hotel that I have ever stayed in the world for it's best value. A proper 4* experience right by the ocean (with a breathtaking ocean view room) for a mere £83 per night!! A massive selection of fresh breakfast included and I've never been to a hotel do far anywhere in the world that does breakfast quite like this place. A stay at Mount Lavinia hotel is a MUST!! I've stayed there on two different occasions now ....pure brilliance and outstanding value for money.

Madara Semini
The look and feel was excellent with canonical vibe. I had a room with a sea view and quite and calm environment. A very good place for relaxing and spending time with loved once.

Their team has zero communication. I requested them to provide me with wedding packages a week ago. They didn't even view the message but have forwarded me the Poya Day offer twice after about a week. I think they have too many requests and are not accepting weddings for next year. Great. Please try another good option, one that values communication.

Went for a buffet(night). Varied menu with a number of stations. Delicious and wonderfully presented. Menus for people with specific diets (eg:vegan). Stayed until about after 10 ( buffet closes at 10.30pm). A bit of nostalgia as we had our homecoming night there so many years back.

I recently visited the hotel in an afternoon. At a first glimpse, all I noticed was lack of maintenance. From the very entrance to the indoors, the hotel premises have not been properly maintained. The pond near the fountain had not been cleaned in ages. Please take due care on the maintenance of the hotel. It's tragic to witness such a magnificent hotel, in a state like this!
