The staff really make this resort a pleasure to stay at.
They are all polite and friendly, aways smiling,
Had a small issue with a lock on the door. The manager came out straight away to get it fixed, even rang later to check we were OK.
Rooms are cleaned every day and stocked with fresh bottled water.
Grounds are well kept.
The food in the Mercado restaurant is great with a very wide range of choices, again the staff are brilliant even making special meals on request.

The room and view were fantastic, but the service was disappointing. The food quality was terrible; on one occasion, they even served stale food. The Indian chef was unavailable, and the breakfast menu was repetitive and lacked flavor. There was a noticeable bias against Indian guests. It took multiple calls just to get a simple bottle of water delivered to the room.
The housekeeping staff was impolite and neglected basic duties like changing the bedsheets. Even after lodging a complaint and being assured that the housekeeping supervisor would address the issue, no one followed up.
The furniture was outdated, and the doors didn’t close properly. The bathroom sliding door was malfunctioning, and there were leaks in the bathroom.
Cherry on the top was lizard on the couch. Again for which they had no response.

The food at the resort is outstanding. With a variety of dining options, every meal was a culinary delight, featuring fresh ingredients and expertly prepared dishes.
One of the standout features of the Outrigger Beach Resort is the wide selection of activities available. Whether you're interested in water sports, exploring the local area, or simply lounging by the pool, there's something for everyone. The resort also offers a range of organized activities, making it easy to try something new and exciting every day.
Overall, my stay at the Outrigger Beach Resort was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and luxury.

I'll start with most important thing, the staff was absolutely amazing! So so friendly and always helping if something is needed. It's rare attitude when they know you are Mauritian. The hotel was nice but it need a bit more of work, a bit of renovation on the outside of the building, especially the main pool, you can feel the small tile hurting your toes when you walk on them, doesn't help much when you doing aquagym. The spa was good especially the hammam, wish they had a jacuzzi with water pressure. The food was good too.

Food served in buffet and restaurant was excellent. The desserts, especially the one with pistachio was finger licking good... The 2 charming ducks stole the show and we're a real centre of attraction for both kids and adults...so cute
Recommendations
1. More prompt service at bar and few good quality snacks to be served with drinks
2. Aqua sports may be introduced in the pool
