After reading all the reviews I went equipped with a cleaning kit and the expectation of the hotel being bad. I was so pleasantly surprised. We had a family room right by the pool. It was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels. The pool area is perfect for families as the pool isn't too deep. The slide is on from 3.30pm for about an hour. Kids loved it. The hotel breakfast won't be for everyone, mainly salad items. Lunch was lovely. We ate out every night so can't comment on evening meals. I would say the mini disco isn't the best however we only did it once as we all preferred going onto bar street at night. If you walk down the steps to street there is a really cheap supermarket. We sent the kids down every day for ice creams and snacks and it cost very little. There are a few steps to get down to the street however it wasn't a issue for us at all. The Turkish bath at the hotel was also lovely and I recommend giving it a try.

worst vacation i have ever been on. one big disaster! I don't even know where to start.. Room one big Disgust! The bathroom is old and moldy, the cleaners don't clean but THEY STEAL!!! she stole 1000tł of money, a hair straightener, perfume from our room. Never keep things just like that in the room, lock everything in the suitcase. I pretend I don't understand English. They do not clean properly, the towels are not clean, they are dirty. The food was expensive and the selection of food was small. 3 types of food that cannot be guaranteed. We had to go to a restaurant for my children to eat. taxis are expensive and drivers are rude. I was in Bodrum for the first and last time!!! Never again to the PHOENYX SUN HOTEL NEVER

My friend's money was stolen from her room, and the hotel took no action. They stated that it was not their problem and, in fact, they should be held accountable because it was done by someone on their staff (who had access to the room keys) The staff gives 💯% . Animators super guys 💯%.

The worst hotel in the world! And the food is not tasty, the staff doesn’t know how to talk to customers! The receptionist doesn't know how to work either! Do not recommend at all. Me and my family stayed there for 10 nights and were debating daily whether we should change our flight to an earlier day as we wanted to get out of there. The rooms would not get cleaned everyday and when they would, the only thing they would clean was the floor and just make the beds (they would leave the same bedsheets and towels for days). Every time I get reminded of the food I want to throw up. The hotel claims to be all inclusive but we often had to go eat out and spend additional money as the food was disgusting (I myself was throwing up 6-7 times a day on the last two days of my stay at the hotel). I’m convinced that if there was remaining food, they would re-heat it and use it again the next day. Most of the people that work there were overall helpful in most occasions including the entertainment team. However, they take advantage of tourists and charge them unbelievable prices. They charged us €25 to go to a “beach party” and when we got there, there was no party and we had to pay to eat and drink which is understandable but we were confused as to why we had to pay €25 cause everyone else was just walking in for free and was only paying for food and drinks. Not to mention that there was actually never a beach party or any sort of party. This was the first and last time that we visit this hotel and I would never recommend it for anyone. Every restaurant that we went outside of the hotel they told us the same thing which is that everyone that stays in that hotel goes and eats in those restaurants as they are starving cause the food at the hotel is absolutely disgusting
