Our room was adjacent to 2 hotel night clubs, music was very loud until 2-3 in the morning every night, it was near impossible to sleep. They would not let us change rooms.
The food was good, but hotel restaurants ran about $150-200 per meal, and the food was only mediocre. The hotel was somewhat clean, but there were cockroaches in our room.
The city was great, or vacation was awesome. The hotel was the one thing I did not like.

Classical Spanish architecture, beautiful, tropical gardens and consistently good food. Peak season tends to give me the impression that the relatively inexperienced waiters can't cope with the numbers. It feels like a frenzy. Other than that, if it wasn't for Puente Romano, Marbella Club, and Don Pepe, I can think of many other destinations in Europe where I would rather be, including the Emerald Coast, Sardinia.

Unbelievable resort. Beautiful gardens, grounds close to beach and everything. Most accommodating staff.
Great breakfast buffet. Fantastic spa and service. Small boutique was wonderful. Room was spacious and well appointed.

Nice luxury hotel, warm welcome at the reception with some welcome drinks and the staff were very friendly. The anniversary room service surprise was an extremely nice detail. Rooms quite spacious, neat and clean and a wide variety of breakfast items. Will definitely repeat again

Nice place, staff, rooms, and restaurants.
My stay was short but needed. Although I could have done with an additional 2 to 3 days.
Although there was a delay at check-in, the staff were extremely apologetic and helpful.
Rooms: The room was well laid out, spacious (for 2), and had all the little things needed when away from home. My only issue was that all movies had to be paid for. So load up those devices for those nights in.
The bathroom was nice, but inside the shower, it needed a bit of a scrub. Actually, it needed more. Sometimes, that marble affect isn't marble.
Restaurants: Way too many nice ones onsite. They can be expensive, but I won't complain as I did pick a 5 star resort. Thai Gallery and Leña are the best! Food and wine I will not fault. Or let anyone else at that.
The Sea grill, I enjoyed. But be extremely careful when buying Lobster. One minute, it's this weight, and then on its way to the kitchen, it's another. It's very pricey, and I'm not sure it was worth it. I've definitely tasted better (in the Caribbean and the UK) and am not sure cheese is required. Some garlic, chilli, and olive oil would have done it for me. But again, each to their own.
The location is a bit challenging. We walked for about 1 hour to the Port. Which was good. But only shops seem to be around interior design shops. So, there's not much to see unless you're thinking of moving our there.
However, it does look like a small shopping mall is being built nearby. So a plus for me.
Overall, I'm definitely planning on returning. I had such a nice relaxing time; walks on the beachfront walkway, loads pf beautiful tropical trees and plants, the sound of the sea, and just everything else.
Puente Romano Beach Resort is stunning and is well worth a visit.
