This was the worst resort stay of my life! My family and I were here for a funeral and stayed at the resort for 11 days. Our other family members stayed for more than two weeks in two other rooms. In total for the three rooms, we collectively spent close to $40,000 (yes, in American dollars) and booked the Diamond Club for extra luxury. The staff in the Diamond Club were rude to us the entire time—from housekeeping to room service to the waitresses at the cabana and ending with the bartenders at the different bars. We felt like we had a stamp on our reservation for them to be rude to us because, in every occurrence, it always happened. I couldn’t even ask simple questions without getting attitude in response. The rooms were also not ideal for family’s with kids. The bathroom and bedroom part is separated by a curtain. It was very difficult for us to function well with that set up! My hubby walked in many times on my teenage step daughter taking a bath, because the tub is like 5 feet away from the room door. The security at the front discriminated against my brother, who is from there, even though we paid for him to stay with us. It was absolutely ridiculous, the treatment we received. The only highlight of the stay was one of our butlers, Franz, who tried his best to make our stay enjoyable, but our other butler, Roshaun, not so much! The misinformation he gave us the whole time was unbelievable. It’s safe to say I’m never staying here again.

I've stayed at several Caribbean resorts, and this one, BY FAR, was the absolute worst! The staff was rude. Other than breakfast, the food was subpar at best. The food at the sports bar was crap, and they could never get an order right. The hibachi restaurant was lame. They never actually did the things that real hibachi chefs do in terms of jokes and making you laugh. They just sang Motown songs out of key all night. When we arrived, they took over an hour to check us in. When we got to our rooms, there were no towels or blankets for our kids. We asked for extras on both, and had to call twice to actually get it. On our final night, we received a call from the front desk asking what time our transport would arrive. We told them. They asked when do we want someone to pick up our bags. We told them that as well. The next morning, nobody showed to pick up our bags...even after 2 follow up phone calls. I ended up carrying 3 bags, and when I got to the escalator that leads up to the lobby, naturally it was broken, so I had to walk up the steps with all 3 bags. At which point I saw the manager and exclaimed my disgust with this resort. I didn't so much as get an "I'm sorry." The only things that were good, were the Caribbean water and the pool. You can find that any where else. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! This ain't it!

Our recent stay at this hotel left us with very mixed feelings. On the positive side, the location is breathtaking, with stunning beaches and beautifully designed buildings. The lobbies are welcoming, the entertainment is engaging, and the food is exceptional — easily some of the best we've encountered in an all-inclusive setting. Every restaurant, including the buffet, is worth visiting.

First I want to say that the staff is overall wonderful. Our butler Doreth went out of her way for us. The vibe team was amazing, very talented and made my kids stay great. I stayed during hurricane Beryl and they kept the guest safe and entertained. They did their best with limited staff to get back to normal. That being said, I was disappointed that the place is not kept as well as it could be. We purchased a membership but many amenities are not working or unavailable from when we bought a few years ago. I hope now that it is a Marriott property they will invest in upkeep.

90 mins away from the airport. Too far if you're with kids. Food was good as you can request halal chicken. The rooms are dated and without ac. We had a lot of issues with the rooms. I wouldn't recommend. Only 1 pool for diamond club and it's not shaded.
