5 night stay. Enjoyed our time. We did have 1 morning with water and AC issues but it was short lived and we were in a room with a connecting door which was odd (we probably cud have asked to move) but only heard neighbors once. Pools were great and the vibe on pool deck was great for young adults all the way to senior citizens.. We had really no issues with chairs on pool or beach, always found some. Food overall was good, I mean some is not upper class like the buffet isn't top notch food but really it was pretty good every time we went. Others are really good as we really enjoyed the steakhouse and the Italian place. Nightly entertainment was actually pretty good. The staff was really great, bar servers, to the bell hops right when you arrive. I actually got to really enjoy interacting with a few of them on a daily basis. Beach was pretty good, they work on it all day and it stays clean and we enjoyed it. I'm sure some resorts around might be more top scale, but really we enjoyed our time here and had fun every day!

Do not expect what you see in photos. When you book with a specialist they are getting kickbacks , even if your details are in writing the resort has the final decision. They do not honor what you booked. The buffet at best is clean they do not refill food for later guests ; which means if you running late to a paid event like rafting please eat there or wait until dinner reservations: which has to be made in advance on the restaurant on the resort. It says all inclusive but you do have to pay for premium liquor and food. And although tipping is not mandatory they make you feel bad for not tipping. Do not book tours without understanding what’s all included. I booked a city tour and was only stopped at 3 places. Buy your souvenirs at the airport it’s cheaper. The butlers are nice but doesn’t really add value for the amount of money we paid. They only booked the reservations and bring ice. We could have stayed at the Hilton or Excellence Hotel. Hear everything is expensive but if you book transportation for 200 bucks you expect to see a car that is not falling apart. The Jamaican folks I met were friendly. But it’s all for tips. You have been warned. lol

The first night was crowded at the buffet area which I didn't like because of the large crowd (I think both resorts were combined for this) and there was a line which moved very slow, not much available seats but we got our food and seats. I guess this was due to their live entertainment they had that night. I really enjoyed the live show which was paying homage to Jamaica, the entertainment team did us proud by displaying our culture through dancing. The other 2 days were much better with the buffet area, no long line, no crowd and we were seated where we wanted to be seated. Overall it was quite relaxing, we had a good room location which was near to all the amenities.

I am hesitant to leave negative reviews, because I understand that every business has challenges, but in this case I can confidently state that this is a poorly run resort. The staff was about the only bright spot, but they clearly need better management. I could write a novel regarding our negative experiences, but I'm only going to point out a few key issues.
- Hotel didn't meet our large group at the airport to save us from the shakedown for tips from the transportation staff or the attempts to see if we wanted to buy marijuana.
- The hotel is a smoking property, but they don't have ash trays so the smokers leave their butts on the garbage cans and in the sand on the beach
- The food is marginal, but you really can only be guaranteed to eat at the buffet. We asked numerous staff about making reservations and everyone had a different answer. All-inclusive is a stretch. The dining options are very limited.
- The management allows people to put towels on loungers, so unless you're willing to put them out at 6AM and obnoxious enough to leave them all day good luck getting a lounger with some shade
- None of the folks in our party could get a consistent water temperature in the shower. Within seconds it would range from cold to scalding hot.
- They had 5 floats for the lazy river so we could never use it.
- The staff told us they'd have fireworks on Dazzling night, but there weren't any.
So many other smaller things, but pretty much from start-to-finish everything was unorganized, not as promised, etc. I wouldn't go back there regardless of price. I feel bad for some of the staff that work hard to make it enjoyable for the guests, but you can't overcome management that is this bad.

I have been to many resorts. This by far is the worst. The workers here have overall been nice but the resort itself sucks. Huge problem I have with the room is the bathroom. Very small. And the water temperature for the shower is all over the place. It fluctuates from warm, to super hot, to ice cold, then repeats. The temperature in the room has a mind of its own as well. It’s very weak. The air conditioning blows but we woke up many times burning up. They might as well not even have wifi. By the pools, there are not enough umbrellas for everyone. Other guests goes out early in the morning to save spots so if you go other there, at a normal time like 10am, most of the good spots are taken and you have to wait till someone leaves (which is unlikely for many hours) or just bake in the hot sun. They need to either stop people from saving spots like that or just have more umbrellas for the chairs they have. The food is average at best. It’s crazy how this place did go under renovations and it’s still trash. The other reviews about this place is true. Believe them. Do yourself a favor and go to another resort. This is not it.
