Great food. We went in May. Beach was amazing, turquoise clear water, but not a long beach for walking. Nicer beach than Bahamas. Enormous seaweed storming down the beach last day, but that’s not their fault. They have someone cleaning it out daily. Chef Paul made some amazing food. Lots of vegetarian options were there for my co-travellers. Lamb, chicken, beef and pork was good, they don’t serve all the same protein every day, they switch it up.
Safe for kids. Not a super busy hotel so it was nice.
Alcohol beverages were great, better than Jamaica, Turks and Caicos
Shakes were very good, kids tried all the flavours.
Pool is shallow, ideal for kids.

Hospitality was amazing the workers never said no to anything which was great when on holiday. Front desk was endlessly helpful even for queries concerning outside the hotel they were more than happy to help or give good suggestion. A range of water sports available too it was great fun learning to kayak paddle boarding. Every day there’s a form of entertainment whether that’s singing or crafts. Food service was understandably slow but took around 30-40 minutes just for the starters to come out. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend The Sands hotel!

Amazing staff and very friendly: they're always ready to help with any questions or requests. The rooms are cozy. The beach is beautiful with very clean and calm water for snorkeling due to a reef close by and no rocks on the seabed!

Hi, I am very flexible, can't be picky on all of them. Price, Room, Staff (most of them), Food & Drinks are good. Only negatives are that we couldn't use the beach (sea weeds - so they arranged the sister resort (very nice beach) but with limited access (can't book the place all the days or time). Also no Entertainments like Cuba, Dominican, Jamaica, Mexico... ext. Night time music is good. Thanks

We loved our stay in this hotel. We had a pool front one bedroom suite and it was great. The hotel is really well managed and I wanted to thank the whole team.
