My family loved our stay at The Sands. This hotel is PERFECT for families!!! There was sooo much for my kids, 4 & 7 years, to do and the different areas of the hotel were ideal when wanting to have some more quiet relaxing time and get away from the water park. We booked the Paradise Getaway Package x2 direct with the hotel and stayed 10 nights which included all our meals. The value of this package was amazing and the menus at the restaurants were extensive which made eating all our meals on the resort easy. Each restaurant has it's own vibe and were kid friendly. My hubby and I booked babysitters (from the staff) and had a few dinners out. Our package even allowed us to venture over to the Kati restaurant next door at the Little Shore (sister hotel) and that meal is one of the nicest I have had in Thailand. The town is very close, only a couple minutes walk which is ideal for massages, snacks and shopping. There are definitely more fancy up market hotels I have stayed at in Thailand but The Sands is definitely the most family friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. We look forward to returning!!!

The hotel is fabulous! It is suitable for every generation from kids to older people. The hotel has many zones that serve each group like families with kids, or couples. Water park is also fantastic for both kids ans adults. Staffs have strong service mind, they can speak various languages too. Location is also great, near to local and western restaurant, 7-ELEVEN, massage shop, and tourist guide. This is the place that you must visit.

a place where you can experience peace in its purest form. It's very quiet at the peak of the high season. the family zone allows you to relax well in the remaining areas. the beach area is wonderful. food very tasty. smiled and wonderful Staff - several requests at the beginning were fulfilled without delay. Small minus is the lack of enforcement of the policy regarding reserving sunbeds, but it is acceptable. overall, a very nice stay and worth recommending

We spent one week in this hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay but there are some insights I want to share for people booking this location.
It’s a family hotel, we didn’t know that, we knew that kids will be there because of the kids area but we did not expect them to be all around. The good news, the hotel tried to establish an adults only breakfast, unfortunately it was still early days and not fully organized. And it was the same offer the entire week.
The room accommodation was top, the room service and cleaning too. Overall the entire staff was always friendly and prices inside the hotel were also reasonable.
The beach view is not so great, first of all there is black sand which is not too attractive but also looking from the beach to the hotel there is just a wall that doesn’t look to inviting, perhaps there are some options to hide the wall a bit behind some green.
One more note, there are quite some rocks in the sea but you can just walk like 50m and it’s much better.
Again, overall a good hotel but I would not recommend this without kids

Not sure you can fault this hotel and the incredible colleagues that work here. We had a wonderful magical holiday. We came with our three children, ranging from 5 - 29, there is something for all.
The ladies in the club are wonderful and friendly.
In fact every single member of staff, without exception are so friendly, helpful and kind.
We have loved our first trip to Thailand. The Elephants Sanctuary and Bamboo rafting an absolute must 💖
Thank you Sands, you have made our holiday magical with memories to last a lifetime 🙏
