Had a wonderful 2 days stay at Ravenala. Food was good at the restaurants, however, buffet wasn’t the best. Kevin, our aqua gym tutor was wonderful. All his activities were fun and he took the time to show us how to play “petang” Overall, we had a wonderful time at the resort. I would recommend for sure.

What can I say about this place From the moment we pulled up outside reception we were treated like royalty. Outstanding service from every single member of staff ground staff included. Nothing was to much trouble. The suite we were given was massive with the largest balcony I have ever seen, had to be at least 15m long!!!! The suite itself was cleaned daily The location was perfect we hired a car and explored the island. The food was excellent and plenty of choice. The beach was amazing with plenty of things to do, The bar's were also amazing with great staff. I have never stayed at such a friendly hotel. All the staff worked very hard to ensure everyone had a great experience. Some day all hotels will operate this way

Very nice hotel with friendly staffs. Food was very good and they have a large variety of good and well prepared cocktails. Their client services are amazing. We faced an issue with our AC in our room, without hesitation, to remediate for this, the hotel offered us an executive seafront view rooms with a free upgrade from full board to all inclusive package. This act was really appreciated from us. They also contacted us to take an update if we were well settled and if everything going fine. This level of services is beyond words to describe. Akshay who led us to our room was very friendly and nice. A must go hotel 😁

We spent 3 memorable nights at Ravenala. Great location with amazing sunsets and plenty of entertainment. Food was really good and we were lucky to have dined at the Riviera. Selva,the chef made an one of the best meals I've had. Kudos! The staff are super friendly as well. Flawless customer service. We had a better time there than some of the 5 stars hotel we stayed at. We already thinking about our next stay there! We did appreciate the hotel's effort to reduce waste and be more environment friendly by using QR codes instead of handing out menus and info. We found this inconvenient at times as we were keen to keep our phones away.

The Zilwa Attitude resort is the ideal place to recharge your batteries. You fall in love with this place as soon as you enter and enjoy the astonishing landscape. The food is delicious, and the personnel is very kind. They offer a wide range of activities, above all for kids. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are nice, spacious and with new furniture (which is often not the case in Mauritius). The view is stunning, also you can do sport activities which is good. And we really liked barbecue on the nearby island - definitely recommend to go for it.

What an AMAZING experience! I celebrated a special birthday there and the staff went above and beyond to make it fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and they were all so nice. The food at all the restaurants was delicious and meeting the head chef and doing a cooking class with him enhanced the entire culinary experience. This place is truly amazing, rooms and services easily exceed the 5 stars resorts that you would expect in Mauritius and globally for that matter. We went there to celebrate our anniversary there and it was the right decision. Their staff are friendly, welcoming, professional and highly trained. The hospitality and services we received from one of the bartenders and the chief was unbelievable. They gave us the feeling that we are their only host. Similarly, the other guests were friendly and very respectable. The whole vibe over there was exceptional. In terms of food and drinks were top quality, I had there on of the best seafood dishes I ever tasted. Rooms are spacious and very clean, privacy are well considered. Definitely an amazing resort and a successful management team Wish them the best…

The Oberoi was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. From design to hospitality, everything was perfect. In fact, it is among the few places where we have traveled so far and we were treated in the most genuine way as guests and not as customers. We really liked the fact that there is an area accessible only to adults, both in the accommodation area and the separate swimming pool, which for us was a plus. Anyway, the resort is generous in size and there is never a feeling of crowding, neither on the beach nor at the pools. The restaurants serve top quality food, especially at "On the rocks" where I ate delicious barbecue (both beef and fresh fish), cooked to the highest degree by the chef there. I recommend going with the resort's boat to the local reef, because it is still surprisingly alive and colorful.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The stretch of beach is calm, serene and beautiful and the backdrop of Le Morne mountain is just stunning. The rooms were great, really clean and had everything and more than you could need - and best of all, they all had a beach view. All the staff I met were kind and tried to be helpful - some of the service was a bit disjointed but nothing that spoilt my day in any way. If you want to explore the island, which I very much did, you will need a car (or be prepared to pay a lot on taxi fees). The location of this hotel is somewhat secluded, balanced by the beautiful stretch of beach it is on, but if you don’t want to spend all your time in the resort you will need a car. I felt I had the perfect balance! And as a single female traveller, I felt very safe at this hotel.

Location is good (even other hotels are less windy in that area). Rooms are comfortable with nice view. But service is almost ridiculous. They are supposed to have a WhatsApp group that they never reply (and they are telling that’s an issue of the system). It is also a funny dress code policy that half of the customers show up in the restaurants with flip flops disrespecting the “dress code “. On the top of that you need to book in advance for the restaurants (in this WhatsApp group that they never reply) so you end up with fully booked restaurants…To make the long story short super overrated hotel, services are far from what they were supposed to be. Try to book in another hotel nearby or at least have dinner at a restaurant in the area and not at these extremely expensive (with no reason) and fake “dress code” policy restaurants of this hotel…

This hotel did more than only exceeding our expectations in the two weeks we stayed in this hotel. First of all: the staff. They went beyond and above to make our holiday amazing, no limits. Our daughter had a great birthday on the beach, provided by the Hotel. We wanted to give special thanks to certain members of the staff, but literally everyone is so amazingly good at their job, that that would be a huge disservice to anyone we would not specifically mention (because of great memories, but mostly because I would be typing until next week to give everyone a shoutout). First of all, we loved the kids club and ‘babysitting expert’ Samuela, but all members of the staff are great with kids and know how to make sure you get to enjoy your holiday as parents. It was very safe, and enjoyable for the kids. The restaurants are very good and offer a wide variety of choice: there is something tasteful on the menu for even the pickiest of eaters, the kids menu and food options for kids are also great. Waiting staff was absolutely skilled, friendly and understanding (that’s needed with children). Never saw a breakfast buffet so tasty, and with a crew that worked like a well oiled machine while still being extremely friendly. The concierges and the reception desk provide you with great ideas and recommendations tailored to your specific needs: truly outstanding. The buggies on the resort, but also the cars are SO well managed: great logistics, good drivers and managed very well. The spa was great for both my husband and myself: the massages were so good, that we could ultimately relax, even the muscles we did not know existed got attention and we are both released from pains we were having for quite some time. The rooms were very well maintained, amenities frequently restocked, very (very!) clean and spacious. The beach is great, as are the pools. The green gardens and plants are taken care after. The activities provided, and the atmosphere of the hotel are absolutely wonderful. Management is very hands on and pro active. Exceptional in every sense of the word. We are coming back for sure, and we are people that are demanding (we see luxury as a standard, and complain a lot: we did not have to complain ONCE about the service or anything).

What a wonderful place! From the minute you check in the staff make you feel very special. Everybody is so nice and helpful! Our room was placed in the kid free area, very quiet and serene. The decorations and layout of the room, and whole hotel, is just superb and beautiful! The food is delicious wherever you choose to eat! We can really recommend LUX, it really lives up to it's name!

We stayed at the Grand Gaube for part of our honeymoon and were blown away by the beauty of the resort and the incredible attention to detail from all the staff. We stayed in one of the villas and so were treated with extra care and they went above and beyond given we were on the our honeymoon. They offer a very generous package to honeymooners with a spa discount, special treats in the villa, and experiences like cocktail making, all at no extra cost. The various restaurants were fun to explore and the food (particularly the international buffet, BB's burger, and the INTI) were exceptional. The highlight though was a private romantic boat tour which took us to some of the local islands while the captain and his crew cooked us a BBQ lunch. It really was incredible! After a very hectic wedding this was the perfect way to relax, be treated, and enjoy the perfect start to married life. One, and only one (big) reason why we're not giving 5 stars. In the middle of the week we found a termite infestation in our villa. We spent an hour or two trying to get rid of the insects before finding the source and calling the staff. As always they went above and beyond to fix the issue and did compensate us, however in a 5 star resort in one of the most expensive villas we wouldn't have expected to have such an issue. Other than that we would highly recommend!

We stayed at Lux Grand Gaube, expecting a five-star experience, but were disappointed from the very first hours. Upon arrival, we noticed that the body cream and shower gel were empty, which was already a red flag. However, the bigger issue was with the bathroom door—it wouldn’t close properly. We reported this problem multiple times—twice in person at the reception and five times over the phone, asking for maintenance. Each time, we were told someone would come, but no one ever did. It took two nights and numerous calls for them to finally take action. When they did, instead of trying to fix the issue, they told us to pack our belongings and move to another room. This was completely unreasonable, as we had already settled in, and packing and unpacking would have added unnecessary stress to our stay. We explained that the issue could be easily fixed, and after much insistence, they sent maintenance. To our surprise, it was resolved in just 5 minutes! It’s hard to believe that a hotel claiming to be "luxury" could overlook something as basic as a bathroom door that doesn't close or empty amenities in the room. On top of that, we had to deal with ants and mosquitoes in the room, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Our bodies were covered in pinches and bites, adding to the discomfort of the stay. Additionally, the cleaning was far from five-star quality. The housekeeping staff only made the bed and replaced towels—no proper cleaning was done. The overall experience was incredibly frustrating and left us questioning the hotel's standards.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in October and were truly sad when we had to leave. It’s the best holiday that we have ever had and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms ooze luxury, and all of the food is fantastic. But what sets this hotel apart from the rest is the incredible staff. Every single one of them were kind, warm, friendly and always had a great sense of humour. From the ground staff all the way up to higher management, every person in this hotel does their absolute best to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Notable mention goes to Michael, who serves drinks during the day at the private beach. It feels like this is more than just a job for him and he works tirelessly to make sure everyone is okay and has what they need. Also - Dev, Sangeeta and the young lady in the Stay Bar with the glasses (so sorry, we forgot her name) - these guys also stood out to us as exceptional staff but honestly every single person deserves so much credit. We can’t recommend this hotel enough - we are already discussing saving plans so we can go back one day! Thanks so much everyone at Paradise Cove - you are the best.

This is a review of The Cove vegan restaurant. We had the five course tasting menu and would rate it as really excellent. We are not vegan but found the flavours and exciting dishes extremely worthwhile. The service was delightful and the freshly made mocktails were much appreciated. Everything was fresh and vibrant.

The thing that my wife and I will remember most about our stay at Paradise Cove are the incredible team that looked after us. A special mention must go to the A team in the Stay bar who treated us so well but the levels of service were excellent wherever you went. Always greeted with a smile and a welcoming comment. We would also like to highlight the behind the scenes team who kept our room immaculate and kept us stocked up with teabags and the gentleman who arranged beautiful flower petal art in the gardens. As mentioned elsewhere the 4 restaurants offer a quality selection of regular and vegan food and we especially enjoyed the Japanese themed restaurant. There is plenty to do here with various activities available everyday as part of the all inclusive package but in addition I would recommend the externally organised trips as this allowed us to meet other people staying at the hotel. Some people might wish that the hotel had access to one of the beautiful Mauritian beaches but we were more than happy to forego that in exchange for great service, fantastic food and renting a car to get access to some of the best beaches. We cannot recommend Paradise Cove enough

Paradise cove was so relaxing! We stayed here for our second stop on our honeymoon and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Lilly greeted us upon arrival and was so welcoming, we had a tour of the hotel grounds and we were looked after very well. There are plenty of intimate spaces to relax as well as opportunities to meet others by doing activities which gave us the perfect balance for our trip. The spa was incredible and I would definitely recommend booking in for some relaxing treatments. The resort is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach with pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Our room was spacious, elegantly designed, and provided a stunning view of the ocean. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make our stay special. They even surprised us with honeymoon amenities that added a personal touch to our visit. The dining options were diverse and delicious, offering a range of cuisines to suit all tastes. We took advantage of some of the activities offered at the resort, including snorkeling and a couples' spa treatment, which were both fantastic. The overall atmosphere was romantic and serene, making it the perfect setting for a honeymoon. LUX Belle Mare exceeded our expectations in every way, and we left with wonderful memories that we'll cherish forever. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and romantic getaway.

Shangri-la hotel is on the east side of the island and maybe that's why but the wind was really strong every day so we could not go snorkeling although we booked the tour every morning. My husband tried snorkeling twice on the east coast but there was no tropical fish he could see... The hotel itself is awesome, service is great, buffet breakfast and dinner are with great variations, everywhere is clean and they gave us a brilliant surprise of the birthday message for my husband on the bed with flowers. The gym is big enough for the holiday period and not too busy.

From the moment we arrived until the sad time we departed, the team at Le Touessrok was truly exemplary. Having traveled extensively and stayed at many premium hotels around the world, I can confidently say that I have never experienced a hotel where the entire team was so perfectly trained to meet and assist every need a guest may have. After a grueling 12-hour flight, the arrival team welcomed us wonderfully. Our room was ready immediately and prepared to perfection. Each of the restaurants, including the buffet, delivered amazing levels of cuisine. The beach and poolside teams responded to all our requests with a smile and a constant message of "nothing is a problem, you're on your holiday, enjoy and relax." The live entertainment at night was wonderful and varied, and the spa treatments we experienced were heavenly. An attempt by myself to offer the bar staff a drink on the final night was met with a polite dismissal, with the bar team explaining that it was their job to provide us with drinks to enable us to fully relax and enjoy our holiday. The only slight mishap we encountered was with a boat trip that was booked by the concierge. Through no fault of the hotel or the concierge, our boat had to be changed at the last minute, which meant we couldn't quite complete the itinerary as promised. However, when the concierge happened to ask how our day went upon our return, I mentioned the slight issue, not as a complaint, but to provide feedback. I stressed that it did not detract from our overall experience. The concierge immediately apologized and said the hotel would look into it. Despite my protests, explaining it wasn't necessary, later that evening Nathaniel, the Duty Manager, found us in the restaurant and personally apologized. He explained that they had arranged for the boat trip to take place with the full itinerary the next day! This amazing service and attention to detail summed up the whole experience for us. Our next destination will be chosen based on the availability of other Shangri-La Hotels, and we will definitely return to Le Touessrok.

The staff are polite friendly and have the most caring attitude you can find. The hotel is set on the most beautiful beach with gorgeous mountain, white sand, clear water. The food was delicious, amenities are fantastic (creating a tropical paradise island), the room was perfect and the service was 5 star! Our wedding day was all we could have imagined, it was unreal! Manie, Bianca and their celebration team made us feel so welcome and their planning was spot on. They made sure the day ran smoothly, arranged stunning decorations for our ceremony and meal. We have amazing photographs too so we can look back on all the fabulous memories. From arrival to the very last minute the entire experience at LUX Le Morne was even better than we had hoped for. The hospitality, facilities, rooms, spa, dining, overall atmosphere, and overall experience were best at One&Only and not even comparable with Four Seasons. If I knew, I would have stayed there from day one. The staff are helpful and super friendly. Highly recommend it for anyone who would like to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experience!

What can I say? Maradiva is absolutely stunning and super spacious. It's so elegant and peaceful, perfect for some serious relaxation and "me time." The villa private pool was such a great feature. The service is top-notch – a solid 10/10. Everything in the villa, from the amenities to the products, is high quality. The buffet service is five-star, and we tried one of the restaurants (Japanese) – it was seriously delicious. If you're looking for luxury and tranquility, Maradiva is the place to be.

We got upgraded from Sands suites to Maradiva, and it was phenomenal. The food was better than some of the best restaurants I’ve had in Chicago. Especially the Japanese restaurant and Cassine. The villas were well designed, private, and luxurious. The shared amenities (beach, infinity pool, etc) were gorgeous. It also never felt too crowded, which we appreciated. Especially when we walked across the beach to other resorts. There’s plenty of outdoor activities on-site, we used the paddle boards. Saw other people sailing. The staff were definitely a highlight of our trip. Not sure if it is Mauritius in general, or the Maradiva, but they were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the wait staff to the reception, these were some of the nicest people we’ve met on any vacation. When we come back to Mauritius, we’ll definitely be booking this hotel.

We stayed here for the 2nd time earlier this year and loved it every bit as much as the first time. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and comfortable, and there are lots of delicious food options. But the best thing about this hotel are the staff members. Everyone I have interacted with across both stays was so kind and friendly. The staff who help with your luggage when you arrive, the staff at the reception, the ladies in the kids club, the staff who tidy the rooms, the wait and kitchen staff in the restaurants, the groundskeepers, the hotel manager, and everyone else made us feel very welcome. I can not speak highly enough about the people working at the Shanti Maurice. After our first visit I said that "I can't wait to come back" and after the second visit, I feel the same way.

There are hundreds of places that have amazing views, amazing sunsets - but when the location has a certain vibe on discomfort and fellow guests are rude - and because they have even more money - they are not addressed. July was the month Saudis come to stay here. Constantly, they blew their nose and let the Kleenex fly everywhere during breakfast. The staff also complained at their lack of respect. That left their children in room next door that were screaming and we had to repeatedly ask them to be quiet - then ask staff to find their parents as they were causing trouble. A regular German family who often came had children hitting staff even though the GM would stop and say hello to her. The children were not supervised and staff stated that they cannot do anything about children taking things off our table. The restaurant is one that has 4 menus. It is one restaurant. When we arrived they said you need 24 hours to make reservations at two other restaurants they have - we pushed back and they found spots. Each time we went both were dead. The requirement that you wear pants and shoes - and an appropriate shirt was not enforced even though they said it many many time to us. Men showed up in shorts, tshirts, sweatpants and flip flops - only the women in burkas appeared to be following anything more formal. It was really odd as they say they have rules and want to be high end - but when people just do whatever they want and ignore - it’s not a great environment. As an LGBT couple that is low key - to be addressed as Mr and Mrs - and have guests from Saudi and some staff show their significant discomfort made it sadly not a place we felt welcome. The staff tried to make it better - but it was not genuine. It was like - we need to fix this as it doesn’t look good. Ask for a male massage therapist and they said it was a 2-3 day wait. They appeared to not understand that I preferred a male therapist but finally after feeling uncomfortable they said ok. We had massages by another person and we both felt like we had been oiled and ready to be put into the oven to be cooked. No pressure, lots of oil and a waste. It was a complimentary couples massage but put us in separate rooms as they said “you don’t want to be in the same room right?” What two guys getting a couples massage? Our toilet had flooded the bathroom floor before we checked in at 10:30 pm. The next morning they came and fixed it. The outlet next to my bed didn’t work and it was not worth mentioning it at this point as it was just another thing. Noise from the people next door was significant and then we had guests above us with a child that cried and cried some nights for hours. It sounded like moving furniture and we were in our 4th night and they offered to move us - repacking and unpacking again with three nights left? With a number of units empty they had to put someone with a newborn right above us. Because of the number of nights and room we had a dedicated concierge that was missing in action. I tried to use it Shanti app and had no luck and was told to contact the restaurant directly. WiFi didn’t work on the beach in front of your room or on your terrace. The first two days it did then it would disappear. I asked and they offered help - we gave up on day three as you can’t keep complaining - it is supposed to be relaxing and we were already regretting this stay. I assume the GM will not be happy. Brian was often with his hat walking around the development, enjoying a few drinks and dinner at the specialty restaurant, walking around to say hello to some of the special guests. It would have been nice if he said “hey, you know I am sorry that I addressed over and over as Mr and Mrs. That would have gone far. Don’t send a bottle of champagne to people that don’t drink and it was noted also in reservation. We cannot recommend this place. It was a waste of a 24 hour flight, a waste of money and sadly left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable after a getaway.

This was my first time in Mauritius and I stayed at this hotel. It was just over an hour by taxi from the airport. The site were very spacious and beautiful. I stayed in a junior suite room. The bathroom was especially spacious and comfortable. The view from the deck was also great. We ate at all the restaurants in the hotel and enjoyed very delicious meals. The floating restaurant was a special. We were able to spend precious time relaxing in the hotel's private pool and on the beach, and it was the best vacation we've ever had. We had a couple's spa, which was very good and highly recommended. We can also arrange a taxi charter at the concierge desk. It's very convenient for a day trip, so please try it out. It was a really nice and gorgeous hotel, and it made my time in Mauritius even more wonderful. I would like to use it again. (It seems that there were Japanese staff members as well.)

My experience at Constance Le Prince exceeded all expectations. It truly deserves a five-star rating, a standard that is increasingly rare to find. The service was impeccable, with exceptionally courteous and welcoming staff who consistently ensured our stay was enjoyable. The property itself is enchanting with clear water and white sand, featuring three excellent restaurants and bars. The room was generously sized, complete with a large, well-appointed bathroom. Additionally, there are numerous complimentary activities available on-site, including paddleboarding and water skiing.

Everything about Constance Prince Maurice was just perfect, from the attentive staff and the most amazing food and drinks to the stunning location and grounds. He was always available and eager to help us with everything, whether it was answering questions about the hotel or assisting with a personal issue we had. Last week, I stayed at the Hotel Riu Palace Mauritius. Despite some negative reviews on booking sites, I decided to give it a try due to my positive past experiences with the Riu hotel chain in various countries. Here are my observations: 1. **Location and Design**: The hotel, which opened about two months ago, is located in a beautiful area of ​​the island. Its design is modern and stylish, with stunning views and a lovely beach. 2. **Rooms**: The rooms are contemporary and equipped with all the necessary amenities for comfort and entertainment. 3. **Dining**: The restaurant is impressive, offering a diverse and delicious menu. 4. **Pools**: The pools are heated and very pleasant. 5. **Staff at Reception**: The reception staff were cheerful and dedicated to their work. 6. **Overall Staff**: The rest of the staff around the hotel were a mix—25% were professional and committed, while 75% seemed to lack proper training, supervision, and customer service skills. My general observation is that the hotel staff urgently need training and supervision, as their current performance significantly harms the hotel's reputation.

The food, restaurants and resort overall are top notch and provide a wonderful relaxing holiday with an amazing view of the nearby mountain. If your into wind surfing or kite surfing, its the ideal resort as you can walk straight onto the beach and enjoy. I would certainly go again.

I had a wonderful honeymoon, and everything went smoothly regarding the room and services. The food was really good, which added to the experience. However, we couldn’t enjoy kayaking or pedalo as the area is quite windy. Also, the air conditioning was a bit slow to cool the room, but overall, it was a great stay.

It's an excellent hotel. Full board. Wonderful food and as much as you want. Evening entertainments, lots of swimming pools, right by the sea with watersports if you want but just watching the kite surfers is good. The staff here will do everything for you. We arrived early, without my passport, but every effort was made to check us in. There were plenty of staff in reception, which was good as I was there a long time. Would love to get back here one day
