Good hotel with decent views, the open beach is a big plus if your going on a holiday and want to enjoy the sea breeze. The food and the service is not perfect but good enough to enjoy some free time. Prefer getting the rooms by the ocean view since it’s easier to go to the dining area, have a good view of the hotel and the sea. Good for families with 2 pools available and plenty of playing spaces.

Had a stay at this beautiful, cozy hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The highlight was the food—delicious and the buffet exceeded expectations. Service was friendly and attentive. The live band added to the experience, doing a great job of entertaining the crowd.

An ordinary resort, where the most beautiful thing is the direct access to the beach. The facilities are old and not well maintained, it gives you the impression of being dirty. Prices for beverages and food are quite high. We wanted to have the dinner buffet and 3 staff members asked us 3 different prices...

We had an amazing day out at Mermaid Hotel & Club. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel itself was superb, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The highlight of our visit was definitely the sports area. Provided endless entertainment for everyone. Whether you're looking to relax or stay active, this hotel has something for everyone. Highly recommend Mermaid Hotel & Club for a memorable and enjoyable getaway

This place was not worth for the money we paid. Not at all recommended for vegetarians. 1) No basic facilities like lift/ Eleveator but if you look in make my trip they mentioned as it is available. Old people will find it difficult. 2) Very limited vegetarian dishes - hardly we will see 2 or 3 maximum dishes to eat. 3) The staffs were not sure which were vegetarian dish and which were non vegetarian dishes. One of them misleaded us telling one dish was veg pasta, but when we started eating, we got chicken pieces in the pasta. It was mentioned as veg pasta in the main board as well. 3) Wrong information provided in make my trip- they mentioned bathtub was there, but we didn't find and when we asked about it, they just smiled and ignored. 4) No water sports- in make my trip we can see resort management has mentioned it as water sports available but when we checked, the reception told there were no water sports there. 5) lack of security guards near beach area due to which local people approach asking if we need massage etc which is kind of security issues. One of the localite even asked me whether I will give him my shirt while going back. Apart from these, swimming pool is very neat and nice beach view. The staffs were very hospitable. The Christmas eve dinner was huge and soo many varieties were there for non Vegetarians. They had arranged even Carol and Santa came with gifts for the kids. The rooms were also spacious and clean. Just the facilities mentioned in the make my trip was misleading.

We had a fantastic family getaway here. The location was perfect, offering easy access to a clean, beautiful beach, and the pool was impeccably maintained. The dining experience was a highlight, every meal we had was excellent, the Sri Lankan dishes standing out for their incredible flavors and variety. However, our experience at the bar was disappointing. The bartender was unwelcoming and seemed uninterested in serving us at the bar, instead repeatedly asking us to move to a table even when the bar area was empty. While we initially assumed this was due to a busy night, his attitude remained the same the following evening. This unprofessional behavior undermines the potential of what could be a great bar experience. I have shared this feedback with the manager and hope it will lead to improvements. Despite this issue, I would still recommend this place for its overall experience and value for money. The location, amenities, and dining make it a great choice for a family getaway.

We had a company day out at this hotel recently. We were also given a room to rest. The pre-lunch bites were good. The lunch buffet spread was good too but for me there was no particular highlight. I saw my friends enjoying the crab curry. I think that particular dish would have tasted better if the claws were cracked. We ended the day outing with cake and tea around 5pm. It was a good day out for our staff.

Lovely staff always there to help you, fabulous beach and the area surrounding the pools are peaceful and clean. Our junior suite was amazing and the views fantastic, especially the sunsets 🌇

We came for a one night stay and we checked the reviews and came. Overall im satisfied about the stay. We made a quick booking the day we came there expecting a sea view room and we got it. You get all the facilities you need there. nice calm environment. Beach is clean. Nice atmosphere.

Stayed 1 Night. Hotel is by the beach but hotel staff recommends to no swim in it. Hotel facilities look like a run-down 5-star hotel. Not recommended
