We enjoyed a week long stay with our family of four. No detail was left out during our time there. Every meal was delectable and dinner buffet was mind blowing. We golfed, rode on the jet skis, played games, relaxed in the pools and did a lot of nothing as well. The night hike was quite exciting too. I’m glad our room had ocean views. We travel a lot and this was by far one of the best experiences had by our entire family. Kid and adult friendly. We will be back! Thank you for the great hospitality.

This hotel is located slightly away from the busy city, offering a serene escape close to nature. At night, you can hear the soothing sounds of crickets, and during the day, birds chirping adds to the tranquil atmosphere, which we truly enjoyed. The garden even hosts snails, adding to the natural charm.
While the hotel isn’t new, it’s evident that the staff work hard to maintain it, especially during peak seasons.
The rooms are clean and come with all the necessary amenities.
Breakfast can feel a bit chaotic, likely due to being understaffed, but the hotel compensates with a wide range of food options catering to tourists from around the world.

Had a two night stay there. The rooms were crisp, clean and fresh. Service was really top notch and loved every bit of it, hospitality I would say is 10/10. The international breakfast buffet is amazing with so much choices. Freshly blended fruit juice and most surprisingly ice cream in the morning!
My only issue is the room not having a bath tub cause we stayed in the least costly one. Other than that the place is perfect!

Shangri-La Rasa Ria is truly a stunning resort with beautiful grounds and breathtaking ocean views. The abundance of amazing wildlife adds a unique and unforgettable touch to the experience. The resort offers a variety of restaurants, and while there are only a few options in the surrounding area, the food at the resort was generally good.
We highly recommend staying in the Ocean Wing—the pool there was always peaceful and quiet, unlike the Garden Wing pool, which was constantly filled with noisy children. Our room was massive and comfortable, though slightly dated, but still very nice overall. The service throughout the resort went above and beyond to make our stay special.
There’s so much to do here for all ages, from the wildlife tour on the golf course to jet skiing—both of which we highly recommend. The games room was a great addition, and the bars offered a good selection of drinks.
While the resort is expensive, it’s well worth the price. That said, it would be great if they introduced an all-inclusive option or a club room for an even better experience. Additionally, while the restaurants were nice, the food was somewhat overpriced and average in quality, even exceeding some Western pricing.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return for the incredible experiences, serene atmosphere, and the unique wildlife.

We just came back from 4 nights at the hotel, and our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were with older folks (60-70yr) and young kids, and everyone really enjoyed the stay. The private beach was beautiful, and although there were some big waves whilst we were there, we could still play and swim in the shallow end that extended quite far out. The sunset views were mesmerising.
We did an afternoon hike as well, which was nice, and the forest was shaded, so not as hot as I imagined it to be.
The BBQ dinner buffet was incredible - the variety was amazing and tasty, well worth the price.
Most of all, despite there being lots of tourists with different nationalities, we were all welcomed and greeted and helped by really friendly staff, who also went out of their way - from the welcome/ reception desk, the housekeeping crew, the restaurant/ breakfast crew and the hiking guide - we felt like we had entered a home and were being welcomed. Thank you all!
If there is one thing I wished the hotel had, would be a larger deeper pool so that the adults can swim. The pool in the garden wing is mostly swallow and for children.
