A Breezy Day by the Sea
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming coastal eatery that offered a delightful blend of stunning views, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality. Nestled in a picturesque location, the restaurant boasted panoramic vistas of the ocean, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savor a memorable meal.
Despite the slightly breezy conditions, the outdoor seating provided a refreshing and invigorating experience. The gentle sea breeze added a touch of romance to the ambiance, while the breathtaking scenery created a truly unforgettable backdrop.
The menu featured a diverse array of dishes, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. From succulent seafood delicacies to hearty meat options, there was something to tantalize every palate. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were expertly balanced to create a harmonious culinary experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home, and they were always eager to assist with any requests or recommendations.

“My perfume has been stolen.”
After housekeeping, the perfume I had left on the table for three days was gone. She pretended she hadn't seen it or not, but I didn't let it slide. Her attitude toward me, who said she would write the security report, insulted us who didn't understand the Malaysian language. They were giggling, chatting with each other, and laughing out of context. Looking at their attitude, we thought we wouldn't be able to find perfume, so we didn't write the security report. The next day, we got a call asking if we needed housekeeping, and we told her on the phone that we didn't and went out. But when we went out, someone came into our room, under the pretext of giving us additional hand towels that we exchanged in the morning. When we only received a shower towel from the time we entered the room, we were very angry to see that the requested hand towel was placed in an empty room, and when we checked with the concierge, she only said sorry. The next day, we went to a Korean employee, Karin. Karin was understanding and empathetic to our situation, and we found out who was involved to ask the housekeeper to apologize. She even provided a meal voucher as an apology. Only Karin provided proper customer service, and we were very disappointed with the poor attitude of the staff compared to this accommodation.

The location of this hotel is far from the city center, but it has the great advantage of being quiet. The al Fresco cuisine is not bad, and the harmony of the male acoustic guitar trio, including the contrabass, was romantic and beautiful. The young and powerful singing of the mixed trio in the inner cafe was also good. The swimming pool was moderately wide, deep, and clean. The scenery along the coast was also excellent.
Overall, I am satisfied.

Located right beside the sea, close to the airport and city centre. During my trip, I have used the ‘Grab’ mobile app for transportation to-and-from the Resort, as it is located away from the main road.
The facilities are good and clean, including the spacious ballrooms, of which I’ve attended a full day event.
Overall a pleasant experience in this resort, with good service from friendly and polite staffs.

My daughter her husband and our two grandsons along with my husband and I stayed here for 8nights. We were looking forward to the stay given it was a 5 ⭐️ resort.
We arrived and had to wait 3 hrs for our rooms to be ready this is after communication with the resort that we would be arriving at 11am.
At 3.10pm when we were still waiting around I spoke to a lady who very calmly went to the back office and returned with two room keys.
My daughter booked a family room which she laid $1000 more for than we did only to find they had a similar room to ours next door in fact without and additional bed which was apparently the additional cost. ( we thought was reasonable) however when on arrival they had the same room when asked for the additional bed they tried to charge her an additional 180 ringet per night for it!
The service certainly isn’t five star rated. With everyone you spoke to saying “I am not sure!”
We had spent threee weeks travelling around Sri Lanka experiencing the best service and the most obliging people everywhere we went from the five star hotels and restaurants to the roadside vendours.
We did encounter three staff members in the 8 night stay who were pleasant and matched the five star rating. To them thank you. Adam in the breakfast area, Salina in the buffet at the Pacific hotel.
