Fantastic food - everything you could wish for at breakfast and much of it cooked to order. Loved the juices and the omelettes were exceptional.
Could have done with more fruit options but apart from that there was plenty of good quality cuisine.
The gym is absolutely amazing...I even wanted to use the equipment which isn't normally my cup of tea. There is a squash court and a boxing ring too - fabulous facilities.
It was great to have the opportunity to play outdoor table tennis and there was an outdoor tennis court, the pool was great and there was enough outdoor seating and sun loungers even at the busy weekend.

This hotel is wonderful. Staff are very friendly, kind, and making sure all the guests are treated accordingly. Especially, Mr. Khan who have been attentive, helpful, and have a very sweet gesture to take care of our needs at the buffet. Also, food at the buffet was a big selection that makes it awesome. Service is great! I was here on my birthday weekend as well, and it was a few compliments from Hotel with Sweets and balloons in bed, which I really didn’t expect. That things really made my day at that time. Mr. Khan Hatif Editor from service always meet me on the good vibe with smile and nice small talks which I really remembered, really appreciate it.
If someday I will be in Abu Dhabi again probably I will come back here to visit and enjoy alone, with friends, or my family! Thank you so much.

I lived in the Meridien for two weeks. It is at the heart of beautiful Abu Dhabi. You can reach anywhere easily. Le Meridien is in a beautiful palace of great historic significance. Many dignitaries stayed there and it boasts a long history. At the center of the soaring lobby is a stunning oasis fountain made by local artists who used unique colorful tiles. As soon as you enter, you feel relaxed. The sound of the water evokes tranquility and calm. There are always cold towels along with welcome Arabic coffee and dates.
Beyond the history and the location what makes this place truly remarkable is the people who work there. They go out of their way to welcome and make everyone feel at home. This is a place where people know hospitality at a high level. I will mention some who made my stay extraordinary and unforgettable. I thank them- they are adorable and shared terrific hospitality:

The Aloft family are friendly and warm people. The front desk is efficient and helpful, and the room service is awesome. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I had a problem originally with the room, reported it and it was fixed immediately with apology. Not a major problem for me but clearly, the hotel management took it seriously. Thanks Aloft. For family trip. I liked the friendly service and staff response. The room condition was comfortable, and the pool was nice. I would like to introduce one special experience. Inconsiderate guests stayed in the room next door. They made a lot of noise until dawn and made my family suffer. I am grateful for the hotel's immediate response. Beautiful hotel 20 min drive from the Abu Dhabi Airport. Located in place surrounding by all Embassies.
Free Parking is available for guest in the Adneco Car park. Rooms and toilets are clean, spacious and luxurious.
Staff are very polite and everyone is ready to help.
Would definitely stay again.

Was looking forward to a luxury vacation experience based on the brand's reputation, but I left a bit disappointed. The arrival experience was great with the valet/bellman assistance, friendly desk associated, and grand atrium lobby tastefully decorated. Room size and furnishing were comfortable. Onsite restaurants were good and tasty for dinner. However overall breakfast experience was not good, as insufficient seating availability, no service and grumpy staff attitude, and dirty dishes always in sight. Food offerings were sufficient and nice, but felt very basic and common, compared to what options other 5-star hotels in the area are delivering. Not the most memorable hotel stay during this vacation, as there are many high end hotels to choose from.

Our overall experience at Dusit Thani was great. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and all necessary appliances were available. The express laundry service was on time, and the hotel atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing.
However, the reception setup needs serious attention. It’s split into two counters—one is directly visible when you enter, while the other is hidden behind a column. This design causes confusion, especially during busy times, as guests naturally queue up at the visible counter, while the hidden one stays empty. There’s no staff to guide guests or organize the flow, which leads to delays and frustration.
We shared our feedback with the on-site manager, Mr. Ahmed, and hope they will consider implementing a better system for managing queues and guiding guests.
Great hospitality overall, but a more organized reception would make the experience much smoother.

I have traveled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels across different countries, and this is truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The service is outstanding, and the hospitality is top-notch.
Housekeeping visits twice a day—once in the morning for a thorough cleaning and again in the evening to prepare the room for a comfortable night’s sleep. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. The hotel is peaceful and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay.
I had access to the club lounge, where they offered a fantastic selection of drinks and delicious food throughout the day. The amenities are excellent, adding to the overall luxury of the stay.
I absolutely loved my experience here and highly recommend it! And just so you know—I’m extremely picky when it comes to hotels, so this truly says a lot!

I stayed at this hotel around 3–4 weeks ago, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The biggest issue was the customer service it was unhelpful and dismissive from the start. We were told the deposit must be paid by card, even though it’s clear that cash is also accepted. This caused unnecessary inconvenience during check-in.
Additionally, I had another booking scheduled for this week. On the day of my previous visit, I informed the staff in person to cancel that future booking. I was assured it would be handled, but they failed to follow through. Today, I was surprised to see the amount for that booking deducted from my account, despite clearly asking for the cancellation weeks ago.
This level of miscommunication and lack of responsibility is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that should be focused on guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to others.

From the moment we checked in, the hotel was incredible — clean rooms, beautiful views, and great food — but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the activities staff, especially Sasha and Margo!
These two are the soul of the resort. Sasha’s energy is infectious — she brings so much fun and positivity to every event. Whether it was morning yoga, beach games, or the evening trivia nights, she made sure everyone felt included and engaged. Margo was equally amazing — warm, funny, and incredibly organized. Her attention to detail and ability to tailor the activities to all ages and interests was impressive.
Every day had something new and exciting, and they both remembered our names, gave personal shout-outs, and made us feel like VIPs. It’s clear they love what they do, and it shows in every smile, every laugh, and every perfectly planned event.

The Pool & Beach access is excellent 1 clean, well-maintained, and perfect for swimming or relaxing (even though the sun is scorching). I had an official visit and stayed for a few days. It's location is the key for the hotel. It's just the back side of the cornice. The room was clean and comfortable. It was equipped with a wardrobe, locker, mini fridge, TV, study table, sofa and tea table. Toilet hygiene was maintained and provided with all essential toiletries. Room service was prompt. A variety of foods were available for breakfast. A live counter for omlate was available throughout the breakfast time. Overall I had a good staying experience.

Why does this hotel call itself a 5 star? It's a deception in the name of a hotel. At best a 3 star hotel. Room service is so lousy they ask you to come down and eat in the restaurant. As for the food, the less said the better. Average budget hotels have a better breakfast spread. I would have been okay if they called themselves a 2 or 3 star property. But, 5 star? Are you kidding me?

Definitely not a 5 ⭐️ hotel.
We booked it thinking that is a good and option for a couple, unfortunately it was not the best and most romantic experience. The pool is very small. The food is not amazing. The hotel itself it’s extremely old and the rooms are smelly. It should be a budget friendly hotel for the condition. They should consider renovating this.
The only good part about it is the location. That’s sad. Hopefully they will do something about it.

It is disappointing for a hotel with a great location and sea view to lack basic services. It is very unworthy & undeserving of the 5 stars. I unfortunately don't recommend it and will not be staying here again for the following reasons:
1) Corridors don't have pleasant smells.
2) The carpets all over are old and stained.
3) Although room is non-smoking, it reeks of smoke.
4) Room lacked towels and complete set of beverage options (no milk / coffee-mate sachets).
5) The lamps are very old and crusty and one of them didn't work.
6) The TV is very laggy.
7) There are ants all over the bathroom.
8) It was DISGUSTING to find the offered vanity kit to be USED.
9) Overall, very poor cleanliness and hygiene.
* I am really embarrassed to post the pictures here, but I will email the management to take remedial actions.

The hotel is not stay friendly. This is a two star hotel. The four/five reviews online are misleading. I booked three rooms for my party. The rooms were not equipped to accommodate more than one person. Only one towel was provided for two people stay in all rooms. I contacted front desk for an additional towel. An hour later I still did not receive it. I contacted front desk again and they transfer me to housekeeping and still did not receive another towel. The only positive about the hotel were the bellmen. They were nice and pleasant.

We have stayed here quite a few times due to the lovely location of the hotel and gorgeous views over the mangroves. Kayaking is available right beside the hotel. Highly recommend the roof top bar (especially during happy hour from 5-8pm), we had a few cocktails and enjoyed the view. Background music was upbeat and dynamite shrimp was really tasty. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast on our balcony was brought to us by the charming Sabirau who was lovely and cheerful.

Weekend was so much fun at Anantara property. Rooms are nice and spacious. We got room overlooking the mangroves. Hotel smells so nice and is quite clean. Staff is friendly and polite. Its perfect place to stay if you want some fun activity with your family as kayaking is available right next to the hotel. Breakfast spread is amazing. Definitely coming back! 🤓

Amazing hotel on the beach side. I stayed for 3 nights on business trip. It is good family or couple hotel. The view is amazing and has many pools to relax. Right on beach side and you can relax and swim.
Rooms are amazing and luxurious. Washrooms are well designed and has bath tub. Take rooms on upper floor and enjoy scenic view.
Breakfast area is amazing and nice. There are so many food options. However, there are not many vegetarian options. I wish there can be more options.
The hotel is accessible and rooms are accessible.

This is one of the best resorts in Abu Dhabi. I can say this, since I have stayed in many hotels and resorts but this one is on top of the list. Excellent Service, spacious rooms and at great location in my opinion. Ambient is calm and it has access to beach front and big pool. My family enjoyed a lot. Also, the food selection is great and it does justice to its reputation. Definitely will visit again. Don't forget to go for a Boat ride if you stay in the hotel.

Once we stepped in we got a free upgrade and later when we had a leakage in the room, which we had not noticed at all, until they explained to us (hehe) we were upgraded to executive suite,and their hospitality was generous, from flowers to fruits and desserts. Everything was immaculate!
Only thing I wish the rooms were more fragrant like the lobby!
And the gondola ride is cherry on top. We felt relaxed and in tune for the week ahead.

I had a wonderful experience at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi we had buffet at Sofra restaurant— and a big part of the great experience was thanks to Dickinson, one of the waiters who truly went above and beyond. He was extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. His attention to detail and warm attitude made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
