I really wanted to give the experience 5*, but there are a few keys aspects that just don’t quite match expectations. The best part of our stay were the staff. Be it at check-in, meal service or at the pool/beach, staff were the most amazing and friendly I’ve ever experienced. They provided us with recommendations, support and anything that was needed during our stay. The facilities were excellent although there were a few negative points here. The mattress was well past its prime and made sleep a bit difficult, the shower faucet had a terrible smell coming out of it so we always opted for bath instead. The worst part of our stay were the meals. The full board includes access to the Spectrum restaurant and we found this to be a mixed experience. We had no access to what was on offer before hand and the food available varied from excellent to terrible. Also, there was little visibility into what we could order additionally, for example we only found out later that we could order pizza for our child. So I can’t really recommend their buffet. A final note, which relevant if you want to visit/travel Dubai often. Travelling from Amman to Dubai is going to be painful 90% of the time. So I’d say location is not the most ideal.

We visited with our two kids and couldn’t fault the hotel in anyway. Spacious and luxurious rooms, amazing views, world class amenities, friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food. View of the ocean from the Balcony was exquisite . Plenty of fun activities for both kids and adults. Dinner at both Kiyi and Gioia was a pleasant experience. The beach is clean and pristine. Pool bar has amazing cocktails and food. Definitely recommend Fairmont Ajman and will visit again.

A wonderful place to stay! The beach and water are excellent, with the sea being so warm that you can enjoy it for hours. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious. Highly recommend! 👋 will definitely BE BACK 👍 The location is also conveniently close to local shops and restaurants. If you want to taste the local cuisine, you'll be impressed by how delicious it is 👍

A very welcome short break at the Fairmont Ajman. The staff throughout the property were kind, thoughtful and very welcoming. The property itself is ideal with large well-appointed public spaces and very comfortable rooms. Catering across the three restaurants and two bars was of a very good standard with plenty of choice for everyone. The beach is clean and well-tended by the staff with a sunbed available for everyone. All-in-all this exceeded our expectations and I wouldn’t be surprised if we return.

Everything is perfect. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was so welcoming. It was worth it! I love this hotel so much. The staff are all great, especially Ms. Darshan. We love her so much; she is so sweet and kind. We will definitely come back and want to meet her again.

Wonderful resort, from Marriott group, located on the beach side of Ajman emirates. The hotel is well decorated, room are spacious with a very comfortable bed, a nice balcony over the gulf. Room are well isolated. The facilities are nice as well, good swimming pool and nice beachfront The staff was very professional, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, tasty and a lot of options available. You have a nice walking area in front of the hotel with plenty of restaurants in case you are looking to explore other dining options than the ones in this hotel.

What can I say… They do not look down on their guests. But the hotel has serious issues with humidity. They are more present in certain parts, less in others. We negotiated with the hotel and they genuinely tried to give us a good room after a catastrophic one we were first given but the infra simply does not correspond to what we expect from a 5-star hotel. We also booked through an agency and it “sold” us many things that just aren’t there. The majority of guests are monolingual Russian families and this results in great cultural differences that are not entirely positive. To give an example: We decided to spend the day at the beach and my African husband was repeatedly called the N word by some Russian teenagers. This is not necessarily what we want to experience during our holidays. The majority of the personnel is friendly and does their best but they just don’t have the understanding and experience that is usually present in 5-star hotels. I would recommend this hotel to Russian families who wish to spend their holidays at the beach. For us it was the wrong choice.

Check-in process took less than 5 minutes. They have welcome tea and ice cream which I really recommend. The room is spacious and clean with very nice view with bathtub that has the same view which was something very nice. The beach was very clean and the water is crystal in a way you can see small fishes playing around you. It was my wife birthday they arranged all the decoration of the room and even the wrote HBD on the beach for her. We really enjoyed our stay there and really recommend it.

We stayed for a weekend in mid-October. Despite informing the hotel team well in advance, we were forced to stay in one room while another was being prepared. Instead of the early check-in we had arranged, it turned into a late check-in. Although the hotel was only 60% full, it seemed too difficult for them to prepare two adjacent rooms, even with a week's notice. One of the rooms had a broken flush, which was not repaired throughout our stay, and we faced similar issues with the air conditioning. On the positive side, breakfast and lunch were good, and the beach and swimming pool were clean, with fresh towels provided as expected. Overall, everything was fine, but it felt a bit overpriced by 10-20%. Not more than satisfactory.

We booked this hotel with the intention to rest up and relax after a hard year. It did not let us down. The staff were very friendly and helpful checking regularly if there was anything else we needed. We booked all inclusive. One of the restaurants was closed for refurbishment but alternative provision was made. There was still the buffet option and the beach bar and the Indian restaurant. Be aware the all inclusive option is available at specific times in specific restaurants and not everywhere all the time. It is from an all inclusive list also. We had no complaints. Food was ok, room was lovely, we were pleased we booked the sea view. Close enough to travel into Dubai if you want to but plenty of sunbeds and shade by the pool and on the beach. All public areas indoors are air conditioned with effective air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Beautiful place with top notch service. I was upgraded while booking and was upgraded again at check in. The ladies at the reception were so welcoming and helpful. I came for 2 nights and had to extend for one additional night. The Kids club is a great place for kids. The swimming pools and the beach make the stay more enjoyable. I think my son spent his best holidays at this place. He can't stop talking about it

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms, really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant. Very friendly staff. The most beautiful sunset. Lovely kids pool. Enjoyed the cafe/bar with shisha- very good! First impressions were not great, we didn't know that tax wasn't included in our price. They then told us there was construction, we went to the pool and the view to the beach was completely blocked off which was disappointing. We finally found access to the beach via the Zanzibar restaurant which was amazing and then we were really able to enjoy our time. I booked via the hotel's website, they didn't provide any follow up or confirmation email so it wasn't clear if the booking had gone through, I had to call to confirm. I also called to ask about arranging a birthday cake/balloons but it was never followed up and it seems they didn't take note of it.

Beautiful hotel, great pool. We had dinner at the Italian Restaurant in the hotel; food was amazing. Parking area not covered and cramp. One staff at the reception made my checkout process a bit complicated; which I would say she’s a bit double standard; hence it changed everything. Sad.

Sincere gratitude to Jay and Mayan, and their team at the Oberoi for providing us with an incredible weekend stay. The dining in the Vinesse was perfect, we had the Angus steak cooked to perfection and the outdoor environment was peaceful and very tranquil. The gym and pool facilities are excellent! The hotel feels private, and exclusive even when at 80% capacity. The grounds are well maintained and we had lots of wildlife to enjoy during our stay, we even had two parrots 🦜 visit us on our balcony. The rooms are 5 star with high end finishes, amazing views, comfortable lounge spaces and excellent entertainment, plenty of great movie channels if you have children or prefer a quiet night in after a nice meal. The spa, massage and wellness facilities are best in class and extensive, there are also a great selection of activities, kayaking and yoga to chocolate tasting, we will certainly try the golf course during our next stay. Thanks again to Mayan and his team for the exceptional service!

Had a blissful and relaxing weekend stay at our favorite serene place, the Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah. This is a perfect place to be in if you want to just take it slow and reconnect with nature. The room, beach, pool and facilities are top-notch. In addition to that, the warm and accommodating staffs who always assure you that everything is being well taken cared of, made our stay more enjoyable. Thanks Hannah and everyone, we will definitely come back.

This place is just like any Oberoi hotel. Fantastic service and the location is perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms are surrounded by greenery and you can hear the waves from the beach if you stay in one of the large villas. Hands down, the best part of this place is the amazing staff who go out of their way to accommodate you. If you have any dietary requirements, they always try and accommodate your requests. Have been here twice, and I do recommend staying in the villas if possible, but the rooms are great as well.

Very green hotel with tranquil atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Refreshing outdoor swimming pool 85m length. Usually I don't like swimming pool and never swim there but in Oberoy it's sooo nice that we spent there a lot of time.

Simply put the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah is one of the best managed properties I've ever stayed at (out of over 100+ five star properties I've visited). Service exceeded expectations at every turn and staff were responsive, warm, and not bothersome at all which is a fine line that many luxury hospitality brands cross all too frequently. I almost always find something at a five star resort that seriously doesn't meet my expectations, but there really wasn't a single thing I could find worth complaining about here. Rooms: 19/20 (highs: huge rooms standard, exceedingly comfortable beds, pillow menu, and all personal care products are either organic or all natural ingredients with no synthetic chemicals and often with ayurvedic formulations; small suggestions the blackout curtains could be a bit more comprehensive and the windows could insulate sound a bit better but overall the room over-delivered) Location & Setting: 18/20 (highs: you can hear birds chirping almost everywhere on the property which gives it a feel very much not what you'd expect being in the middle of the desert, the beach is clean and inviting with picturesque sunset views, resort grounds are green and lush and perfectly maintained; small item worth noting is the resort is about 4 or 5 kilometers south of what looks like an oil refinery and storage facility which is just part of being in the UAE but still it is in the back of your mind whether the air/water might be polluted due to proximity) Service & Ambience: 19/20 (highs: staff accommodated almost every request, provided service with a smile, and weren't overbearing at all, property is 7 years old but feels almost brand new with clean modern design, good house/techno music played at just the right volume throughout the key public areas; small piece of feedback, I asked three staff members about open use of spa facilities including steam/sauna and never heard back on that - for a five star resort these days steam/sauna/cold plunge are basically standard open access facilities for guests) Food & Venues: 18/20 (highs: the Indian cuisine here is the standout as it should be for a brand from the subcontinent, in room dining and breakfast were very good and they delivered breakfast to our room on request which they didn't have to do [special thanks to management for accommodating that request]; Vinesse may not have been a standout in terms of culinary experience, and we didn't eat at Aquario so I can't speak to that venue, but overall we ate very well and were satisfied) Amenities & Facilities: 18/20 (Highs: the main pool is enormous and perfect for luxuriating with ample privacy, it also looks like they are building an addendum to the property with a second pool with a better view to the ocean; the fitness center is well equipped with both a yoga/movement space as well as standard Matrix machines and freeweights; the only downside of the entire property was wellness/spa amenities which again I didn't get a clear answer from staff if the steam/sauna were available for use if you didn't book a treatment, also a spinning machine and a pull up bar would have completed the fitness center) Overall resort score: 92/100 For anyone looking for a luxe staycation less than an hour away from the often jarring busyness of Dubai, this is an incredible escape that should be near the top of your list. One of a rare few five star resorts I have stayed at that really feels like it.
