The hotel experience was excellent. The location is very convenient, the staff is always very friendly, welcoming you and attending to your needs at all times, and the facilities are very good. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor; they are spacious, very clean, and have a wonderful view. The pool is large and beautiful, and they also organize activities there. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely return to this place.

All the staff from the reception, restaurant to housekeeping were exceptional. They were so polite and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as happy and relaxing as possible. I had Thai massage every day for 480B (£10) and it was incredible. The hotel is quiet and the pool is lovely, there is yoga, stretching and for those who don’t exercise, towel folding classes each day! La Playa is in a great location just minutes from the Main Street only a short walk to Ao Nang night market and all the street sellers and moments from the beach. We will definitely return.

Krabbi the liveliest of the last two and great hotel.
We upgraded for a room with a pool and so relaxing.
Breakfasts at the hotel are lovely.
Staff are so friendly and helpful.
241 on cocktails round the main pool and only a 2 minute walk to a 711. If you leave the hotel from reception, walk straight over and down to your left. The cafes and bars are this way.
Go all the way to the bottom and for the road round to the left, even busier area for bars.
Be sure to get a long tail boat to Railay beach. Glorious place. Only costs 400 BAHT return.

We just spent 6 nights at this lovely resort and really enjoyed our stay.
From the minute we checked in we were greeted by the friendliest staff and made to feel very welcome. The welcome drink and gift were also a lovely touch.
We booked a pool access room and it was just lovely. The rooms are generous in size, the beds and pillows are very comfy and the shower has great water pressure. The balcony access to the pool is very convenient and we enjoyed the luxury of not having to cart our belongings to the pool. I was a little disappointed by the outdoor seating and feel that a couple of pool loungers or comfy chairs would be better than the single daybed arrangement.
Buffet breakfast was pretty good but definitely not the best we have experienced in our recent travels given the price of the rooms here. The egg station chef struggled to keep up with a la carte orders and we were a little surprised that there was no Bacon on offer at all. Also orange juice is only available every other day, I feel of all the juices orange should be a daily staple. The fruit and bread selection were good but the toasters were often slow and held up the line for those waiting.
The resort prides itself on being environmentally friendly and focuses on sustainability. I was surprised there was no bidet spray in the toilet forcing the use of paper. Surely this is not environmentally sustainable? Other environmentally friendly practices were well implemented such as recycling garbage, limiting the use of plastic and solar panels were being installed for electricity.
The location of the resort is excellent, its set away from the main road so its very quiet. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity along with a night market, laundry etc. The beach is a short walk in either direction and access to the islands or Railay Beach is very accessible. The resort does have a tour desk but we didn't use it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, its a beautiful resort and we would come back again.

Rooms dated but clean and functional. The hotel needs a lot of work and overall hygiene of the facilities is questionable. Pool and terrace areas where not leaned in week we were there and got more grubby as food and drink spilled on it. Staff are somewhat approachable when ordering drink food. Sadly got food poisoning on one of there theme nights. This hotel is advertised as 3 star but sadly is certainly not which is a shame as could be amazing and good location. Would look elsewhere and will not recommend.

Absolutely loved it here. Great welcome by staff. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Very well kept pools. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from. A nice ambiance throughout the hotel. Good location, only short walk to the beach and all the shops, restaurants and markets. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Some nice touches like 2 brollies, a range of soap and conditioner plus lotion. Also tea bags as well as coffee in the room. Our experience is that tea bags are often not supplied. All in all a lovely place.

Rooms are quite big. We stayed in Grand Executive rooms.
But the property is a bit on the old side.
Have never understood the logic of that window separating the room and washroom area. This made it worse with a single door rotating between the shower and toilet area. ZERO PRIVACY.
Service is slow.
Asked for an extra towel to bathe our kid, they were never sent to the room.
Before heading out one morning we asked the staff to pack just one croissant for our child as he was sleeping at that time, their response was to pay for that single (small and not so fresh) croissant.
Location wise, it is slightly away from the active and lively road leading to Ao Nang beach. For someone looking for quietude, it can be a good thing. But then you have to walk a few hundred meters even for a small 7Eleven trip.

Nice resort with lot of greenery. Rooms were good enough. Swimming pools were awesome. Breakfast was sumptuous. Reception desk were helpful. Helped us arrange for ferry travel to Phuket. Walking distance to beach 20mins. Walkable to Ao Nang landmark night market. Closer to good restaurants.

The rooms themselves are decent and the swimming pool is good. The location is also acceptable. It sits roughly in the middle of Ao Nang Beach and the Krabi night market, about 1.5 km from both. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby. Breakfast at the hotel was just okay. As a vegetarian, expectations were already low, so this was not a surprise.
Unfortunately, this is where the positives end.
While the rooms look good on the surface, they are poorly maintained. Basic amenities simply do not work. Fans were not functioning, lights were dim, and the shower was not working properly. Anything that required regular maintenance appeared to be neglected.
The room switches deserve a special mention for all the wrong reasons. They are like a puzzle. There are no markings to indicate which switch controls what. You have to keep juggling switches to figure things out. Even after this effort, the room is still not brightly lit despite having multiple lights.
Room service was worse. Beds were made, but that was all. The bathroom floor still had hair from the previous use. Wet towels that were left on the floor to be replaced were put back as they were, even during the rainy season. This shows a complete lack of hygiene standards.
The staff experience was the worst part of the stay. We had a lizard inside the room. Despite multiple phone calls and even visiting the reception personally, no one came to help. This level of indifference is unacceptable.
Most of the staff were rude and unhelpful. There was a clear difference in behavior. White guests were treated politely, while non-white guests received rude looks and curt responses. The reception staff was especially unhelpful. Any query was met with a dismissive or rude reply.
The corridors leading to the rooms are poorly lit, which is both annoying and unsafe. With lizards around, walking through dimly lit passages while constantly watching your step is not a pleasant experience.
Overall, this hotel has potential but is dragged down by poor maintenance, careless housekeeping, and an unprofessional staff attitude. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are seriously addressed.

The location is perfect.

I would give 5 stars for rooms if I had not seen the standard room which I booked via booking. It’s too expensive for a room with no window. It is not highlighted theee is no room and they should warn people. It was 150 euro per night without a window , the room is small and well furnished but the window situation was wierd for that much money. So we were offered an upgrade for 27 per night and high we took and got a lovely room which is like a standard in other hotels of this standard. We didn’t try breakfast, the pool is lovely and has a nice bar. Lovely gardens. Great location and in a quiet street off the main beach.

decent hotel with average service, which was almost nonexistent at times. The location is acceptable, and the duplex rooms are reasonably comfortable; however, they are located very far from the main building. Because of this, and due to the lack of agility and responsiveness from the staff, I was ultimately not satisfied. Overall, it is a mid-range hotel with a mid-range price.

We just checked in and the experience is not up to the mark. We found our rooms smelling and requested for a room change. But they completely denied it saying that they do not find room smelling and they can’t do anything about it.
Hospitality is zero here and when told that we might change hotel if you don’t change our room, they bluntly said go ahead talk to your agent.
Smelling was so bad that we couldn’t even sit. They kept denying it that we couldn’t smell anything.
They are rude and acting as they are doing a favour to us by giving us rooms.
They even denied giving the whole incident in writing in case they feel if we are wrong.
What options do we have now at this place ? We are 12 and changing hotel is not easy?

This is without doubt the 2nd worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Let me make it clear to start with. We stayed in the resort, NOT THE MAIN HOTEL.
The room was no more than a windowless concrete box.
The plug sockets didn't work,
The shower was either freezing or roasting, and on our last day, was non existing.
The walk to the concrete box was all the way up hill.
We tried to change room, and were told it would be an extra 1000bt PER NIGHT PER PERSON
DONT GO, it was it absolutely shocking

We stayed 2 weeks here and absolutely loved it! Close to everything, beaches and boat shuttles to go island hopping.
The staff at the hotel are all amazing and we almost didn’t get our kids to go to the pool after they visited Namhom in the kids area.
Absolutely fantastic for the whole family, kids enjoying themselves with amazing people that are so sweet and fun.
We could just relax a bit by the pool.

The hotel itself is a bit old and could use a refurbishment on some of the areas. Also cleanliness in the public areas could be better. We had mold in the shower, which is probably normal under these conditions, but could be taken care of more often.. i like that you get a free drink at the bar if the personell does not need to clean the room.
The location is ok, not too much choice for food except for indian, or pakistani.
The kids club was great. Our kids loved it and Namhom deserves a five star review. She really does a great job, although there is always a language barrier (so many different languages). She really die great!

The doorman upon check-in was quite unpleasant. It is obvious that this is an older property; given the high occupancy, it would certainly be worth investing in hardware upgrades. The rooms should be much brighter, especially the toilet and bathroom area.
The front desk and doorman staff here seem unhappy, though a few restaurant staff members were much more lovely. In contrast, the service at "Let’s Relax" was exceptional.
I previously stayed at Centara Life Lamai in Koh Samui—it was a smaller scale but provided the greatest joy. Every single staff member there was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel more like a cared-for friend than just a customer. That experience is why I joined the Centara1 membership. However, after this stay in Krabi, I am reconsidering whether to remain a member. It is truly a disappointment.

The hotel is truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The play area is clean, well-maintained, and full of fun equipment for children of all ages, with a safe and cheerful atmosphere. Namhom is kind, helpful, and always available, which made the experience even better.
In addition, the hotel staff went above and beyond to celebrate my husband’s birthday and truly spoiled us from start to finish. The personal attention, warmth, and thoughtful gestures made our stay unforgettable. Without a doubt, an excellent hotel that we highly recommend and would love to return to.

Very lovely hotel with great facilities for families traveling with small children. The playroom was equipped with many different toys and activities for all ages. Namhom was kind and patient with our kids, and even helped looking after them at the pool when she was working at the pool bar together with the other staff.
The staff was super friendly all around and made it a wonderful experience staying here.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Deevana Plaza. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The comfort of the rooms, the quality of service, and the overall beauty of the property made our stay truly special.
The highlight for us was the best-in-class swimming pool spread across the ground floor — beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. It added so much charm and relaxation to our experience.
The hospitality was exceptional. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their shuttle service to the beach was very convenient, and the location itself is fantastic — just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, making it perfect for leisure travelers.
A special mention to the food — the veggie pizza and garlic bread were honestly among the best we’ve had in recent times! Although there were limited Indian vegetarian options, it didn’t affect our experience at all as everything we tried was delicious.
Overall, we enjoyed every bit of our stay and would highly recommend Deevana Plaza to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a beautiful holiday experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

We had a very bad experience at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone.
We booked a room for 3 adults for 3 nights. On the first day of check-in, the room had 3 towels, which was expected. On the second day, we did not use the towels, so the housekeeping staff did not change them during room cleaning. On the third day, after using the towels, housekeeping changed them—but shockingly, they provided only 2 towels instead of 3.
At that time, we did not raise an issue as we were not using the towels much. However, the real problem started during check-out, when the staff claimed that one towel was missing and insisted that we had to pay for it.
We clearly explained that:
The hotel itself failed to provide 3 towels after cleaning
We were staying as 3 adults
No towel was taken or misplaced by us
Despite this, the staff argued with us for more than 30 minutes, showed no professionalism, and completely ignored our explanation. In the end, they forcefully deducted the towel charge from our security deposit, which is unacceptable.
This behavior reflects poor management, lack of accountability, and dishonest practices. Arguing with guests over such a small issue and blaming them for the hotel’s own mistake is extremely unprofessional and ruins the entire stay experience.
Because of this incident, our overall stay was completely spoiled. I strongly advise travelers to be careful while staying here, especially regarding security deposits. There are many better hotels that treat guests with respect.
Not worth the stress. Will never stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Deewana Plaza Krabi. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well maintained. The service throughout the stay was excellent and the staff was always helpful and polite.
One of the highlights for me was the swimming pool that extends across the ground floor alongside the rooms - it was beautiful and very relaxing. The breakfast spread every morning had a lot of options, and everything we tried was delicious.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would love to stay here again.

180€ a night is definitely overpriced. Rooms are modern but not particularly clean (for example moldy curtain in the shower). Upon arrival the room smelled funky, so I checked the vent and it looked disgusting. I contacted reception and got it cleaned eventually, but it’s something that shouldn’t happen in a 4 star resort. Who knows how the filters inside the air conditioning look like😖
There is often a bad smell coming out of the shower/bathroom drain.
Lobby, pool area and restaurant look nice, we didn’t have breakfast but we had a look at the buffet and there was a nice variety.
Check in took a long time (20mins waiting) because they couldn’t find our reservation, but this seems to be a common issue for Thai hotels.

I was a bit disappointed with this 4-star hotel, despite some very positive aspects.
First of all, a big thank you to the staff, they were genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. The same goes for the housekeeping team: the room was perfectly clean every day, which I really appreciated.
As for the hotel itself, the common areas are very beautiful and well designed, but unfortunately, the room had a strong and unpleasant mold smell. The 2 star grade is almost due to that. I tried everything to get rid of it, and the only way to slightly reduce it was to keep the air conditioning running nonstop at maximum power. It helped a bit, but the issue never fully disappeared. The room itself was clean, so I believe the smell was coming from the walls (under the paint) or the air-conditioning system.
Another frustrating point was the bathroom sink. The faucet was far too small for the size of the sink, making it almost impossible to even wash your hands properly, you constantly hit your hands against the sink.
One positive and more eco-friendly aspect is that the common areas are not air-conditioned, except for enclosed rooms. Honestly, this was great and a refreshing change.
Regarding breakfast, there was a fairly good selection, and it was overall decent. I also appreciated the many vegetarian options available.
The hotel has a large swimming pool, with pH, chlorine levels, and water temperature clearly displayed and regularly checked, which is reassuring. However, the gym closes very early, and unfortunately I never had the chance to use it. Each time I came back from the night market, it was already closed (I believe it closes around 7 p.m., i know for sure that at 9pm it's closed).
Overall, while the hotel has some strong points, especially the staff and cleanliness, the room issues don’t quite match what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for nearly two weeks for our holiday in February 2026.
The entrance to the resort is very nicely hidden and away from Ao Nang main street, yet still very close to enjoy its benefits.
The resort itself is beautifully designed, from the main entrance to the bridges between the buildings.
Our room was spacious with the balcony looking over the ground pool and the bed has very comfortable.
But the most important is the level of kindness of people working there. All the employees were always very nice, happy and helpful. Every encounter with them was a real pleasure.

I just had a chance to write a review of our stay at this hotel. We stayed in May 2025, though our original booking was for May 2024 through a well-known OTA. Unfortunately, I had an acute heart attack and needed emergency open-heart surgery, so we couldn’t travel as planned. My husband tried contacting the OTA but we weren’t impressed with their service. Thankfully, the hotel showed great empathy and kindly allowed us to postpone our stay within a 1.5-year period.
When I recovered enough to travel, we finally made it there — and at check-in, we were upgraded to a premium room with a jacuzzi. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a lovely balcony, and the bathroom was big and well-designed.
The hotel itself has a large swimming pool with a pool bar, which was very enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices to start the day. I especially loved the noodles — they were delicious — and the bakery items were also very tasty.
The location is excellent, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and just a short walk to the beach.
Overall, we had a truly relaxing time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made our stay memorable. We will definitely be back here again.

What a wonderful stay at Panan Krabi Resort! I booked the Deluxe Private Outdoor Whirlpool room and it was so worth it. The resort’s conveniently located near restaurants and shops, which was handy to have as everything was within walking distance. We also booked our boat tours through their tour desk reception, which we enjoyed a full day of island hopping hosted by Railay Eco Tours.
The breakfast buffet is fantastic as it offered a wide range of options.
Panan Krabi has two massive pools to choose from - the rooftop pool which is much quieter and offers a stunning view of the limestone cliffs as opposed to the main pool which could get quite busy and all sun beds would be occupied by 11am.
The resort also offers a 500THB per person seafood buffet I believe on Friday - weekend evenings, although we didn’t get to try it looked like a great option to dine at, also featuring a live band.
I also had the pleasure of booking an After Sun 60min massage with a 60min Foot Massage with their partner spa, which offered a complimentary transfer for me as it is located in their partner hotel (Hotel Adam).
The spa was beautiful and the therapists were amazing - just what I needed after a day of touring the islands!
Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable stay at Panan Krabi Resort.

Everything was first class. The staff were excellent, always smiling and courteous, we were spoken to by one member of staff on a regular basis, her name was Rawi, she was always immaculately dressed, very polite, very attentive. Her English was perfect. Like the rest of your staff, she is a credit to your hotel. I have stayed in hotels all around the world and this hotel is up there amongst the best. If I had to criticise anything, it would be that the gym is too small, but that is a minor issue. Thank you

My stay at Avani Ao Nang Cliff Resort was absolutely spectacular. The property itself is stunning. The design and overall infrastructure are beautifully done, blending modern comfort with the dramatic limestone cliffs of Ao Nang in a way that feels both luxurious and uniquely connected to the surroundings.
The rooms were some of the most beautiful I’ve stayed in, spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Waking up to the views here was genuinely a highlight of the trip.
One of my favorite parts of the resort was the infinity pool. The setting is incredible, with panoramic views that make it the perfect place to relax after exploring Krabi.
The breakfast selection was also epic. There was an impressive variety of options and everything felt fresh and well prepared, making it a great way to start the day.
A special mention to Pine, who helped us during breakfast with her efficient and quick service. She was incredibly attentive and made the mornings even more pleasant with her warm hospitality.
Overall, this resort truly elevated my experience in Ao Nang. The atmosphere, the views, and the attention to detail made it a memorable stay, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Krabi.

This hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at in my life and definitely the best one in Thailand. The rooms were spectacular and the views from the infinity pool and Pano Café were breathtaking. All the staff were so nice and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but they were nice enough to offer us free drinks by the pool while we waited (ended up only being 30 mins).
Special shout out to Chef Sanjay at Pano Café for being very attentive of our veganism and making sure we had options. He was even nice enough to specially make us a vegan brownie to make sure we felt accommodated for. Thank you so much Avani and Chef Sanjay.

We had room 5602 with a stunning sea view and excellent air conditioning. The food is prepared by Chef Tiger and Sanjay, and every dish their team was a delight at the terrace cafes. Breakfast offered all that you would expect and more. Wonderful staff who will cater to every need. We always look for a stand out employee who goes far and above on service and who seems to do it out of love for doing a perfect job for you - and his name is Bird in the breakfast buffet. We stayed at this resort during peak season, so we paid peak prices—but it was absolutely worth it. I’d come back to Krabi again anytime, in any season.
The views were incredible: sea and limestone cliffs from our balcony, the pool, and even the restaurant. Our room was in great condition, and the balcony was genuinely practical—easy to dry swimsuits and clothes after a swim.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a fresh buffet and lots of variety. The pool area was also excellent: beautiful view, relaxing vibe, and plenty of comfortable sun beds.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—great restaurants, massage shops, and convenient stores nearby, with the beach just a few minutes’ walk. Tour pickups were effortless too; drivers knew the resort and we could wait in the cool lobby.

Great location at the quieter end so you can still walk to all the bars and restaurants but it is away from the chaos and a nice walk back in the evening. Great views so nice to have a drink there or the bar next door to watch the sunset on the beach. The staff were absolutely fantastic and very responsive. They have a useful app where you can request anything you need and also indicate any problems. We had a slight leak in Our bathroom and it was fixed within 1 hour of us signaling there was an issue. The kids (4and 8) had a great time in the kids club. Would stay here again! Thanks for a lovely stay!

It was amazing more than I could have asked for. The staff were fantastic and I had no stress the whole day.
Both Dave and I were blown away with the location and the decorations.
The meal was so delicious and romantic again the staff were so attentive and friendly.
We then spent 5 wonderful days enjoying the resort and the hotel facilities. Thank you to Pond and her team who made our wedding and stay in Krabi so unforgettable.

This hotel is a very good place to stay during the visit to Ao Nang Beach. My wife and I spent two nights here, with our two small children.
We stayed in the Family Residence King which was a good fit for a couple with two children.
There are two pools — one on the beach, which is very nice as the beach itself is not so inviting for swimming, and another one between the hotel buildings with two water slides which the kids loved.
The breakfast was amazing, and it was one of the best breakfasts we have had during our trip. A wide variety of Asian and local food. A great selection of fresh and tasty fruits in a nice location by the pool.
For dinner, we went by foot to the main street and tried out different local restaurants each evening.
Overall it's a great hotel with an excellent service!

We came here on our honeymoon and its location is perfect. It’s close enough to shops and bars while still giving you a relaxing space away from it. The view of the cliff beside it is beautiful. The reception staff were so lovely, we were served by Bilkis and Satang who were so friendly! They left us a lovely honeymoon decoration on our bed and some treats! They often brought us a free treat to the room which was so lovely too. It was a special trip and would really recommend

Great location, beautiful sunsets – just be mindful of resort pricing
We recently stayed at this resort and loved the location right on Ao Nang Beach – it’s a stunning spot to watch the sunsets each evening.
The hotel is very well maintained and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The only downside is that some of the on-site services are priced at typical resort levels and are quite expensive compared to what’s available just outside the property. Fortunately, everything you need is within a short walk and much more reasonably priced.
Overall, a great place to stay and we would happily recommend it – just don’t be afraid to step outside the resort for better value.

An exceptional experience from start to finish.
The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning surroundings and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and privacy.
What really sets this place apart is the service—warm, attentive, and consistently professional without ever feeling intrusive. Every interaction felt welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was memorable.
The check-in time at the hotel was long like it took around 20 mins for the lady to type in all the details but I think that is necessary for all international travellers
The food was excellent, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience was exactly what a resort stay should be: peaceful, indulgent, and refreshing. I would highly recommend this resort and would absolutely return.
The shrimp pineapple fried rice was top notch at the restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel as a family with our 3 year old and 1 year old children and absolutely loved it. We had a room with direct pool access, which was perfect for us. The kids especially enjoyed the slides and had a great time around the hotel.
Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The location is excellent for boat tours, as most depart right in front of the hotel and the long-tail boat service to Railay Beach is also just in front. The night market is only a 5-minute walk.
Overall, a fantastic stay for families.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel has been extremely disappointing from the very beginning.
We originally booked a garden view room, expecting a peaceful and pleasant stay. Instead, the hotel “upgraded” us to a room facing the swimming pool, where children were constantly screaming from morning till evening. This was not an upgrade at all — it was noisy and stressful.
The room itself was old, worn out, and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was barely working, and the room was extremely hot. We stayed there for almost three hours before finally going to the reception to complain, as it was impossible to rest.
Only then were we informed that the room we had actually booked — which turned out to be newer and with a much nicer view — had already been given to other guests. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
The next day, we were told we had to check out at 12:00 and wait until 15:00 to move into the correct room. Being forced to sit around for three hours during a vacation is not reasonable. After a long argument, they finally allowed us to move earlier — but this situation should never have happened.
The service continued to be poor:
Our room key stopped working, and when we went to reception tired in the evening, the staff looked annoyed rather than helpful.
In the restaurant, we asked for our food to be brought in 30 minutes so we could take a shower first. Instead, the food arrived in five minutes, completely ignoring.
Breakfast was another big disappointment. There was almost nothing edible, very limited choice, and poor quality. Only the watermelon was acceptable. No green tea in the room, no coffee machine — very basic amenities missing for a hotel that claims to offer comfort.
Overall, this hotel feels closer to a 3 star experience, not a proper resort stay. Poor organization, bad service, noise, outdated rooms, and extremely weak food quality. Only location is good

I would not recommend this place, way overpriced for what it is. Tiny rooms, hotel is laking on cleanliness and upkeep. The pool was absolutely gross, our room got invaded by termites after in rained. Drinks and food wayyy overpriced. Can’t even see the ocean from the hotel unless you’re upstairs. The part of the sea across the hotel is where long tail boats pick up and drop off all day. Not recommended for swimming beach. Oh, don’t loose your room key, they charge. The only thing we enjoyed was the breakfast. Stayed 2 weeks and paid over 350 per day. NOT a 5 star hotel. The beds for our kids are stored outside in the hallways. Tiny gross beds they roll in. Very uncomfortable as well. Worst place I have ever stayed on vacation for the price. The staff is helpful and friendly. Owner needs to lower prices to what the place is worth or put some money into upgrading! We were all so happy to leave!

Very Disappointing Experience – Not Family Friendly at All
We booked this hotel three months in advance, paying over USD 500 per night, expecting a comfortable family-friendly stay. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different and extremely disappointing.
First surprise: breakfast was not included, for reasons no one could clearly explain. We were traveling with two children (5 and 11 years old) and always book hotels with breakfast included, especially at this price level.
Second and more serious issue: the room. We booked a “family room”, which turned out to be very small. When we asked where the beds for the children were supposed to be, we were told that all four of us should sleep in one king-size bed. This is absolutely unacceptable and feels like false advertising.
The experience at reception made things worse. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and communication was extremely difficult. We repeatedly asked her to repeat herself because her English was not understandable. For an international hotel charging premium rates, front-desk staff should be properly trained in customer service and basic English communication.
Another unpleasant detail: the hotel entrance constantly smells of sewage, which is shocking for a hotel in this category.
Regarding facilities for children: the hotel advertises a kids club, but in reality around 90% of the activities require extra payment. Advertising a kids club as “available” without clearly stating that almost everything is paid is misleading. The kids club is empty all the time even with whatever activities such as "movie night" because it has nothing to do with REAL kids club where assigned people making activities for the kids!!! For the dot activity was given piece of paper and pencils to draw, no support, no supervision. If you are looking for the kids club better to go to Bali! Or you train your staff to do it right way!!!
Finally, we were told that pools and slides are not free to use, and that we had to purchase food or drinks from the pool café in order to access them. This was never mentioned at booking and is completely unreasonable.
Overall, this hotel feels like a series of hidden costs and misleading promises.
Definitely not suitable for families, and certainly not worth the price.
Avoid this hotel, especially if you are traveling with children!!!!

Our stay at Pakasai Resort in Krabi was truly a wonderful experience.
The resort has a very special atmosphere where you genuinely feel as if you are staying in the middle of a magical forest. Being surrounded by nature while hearing the sounds of rain, sunshine through the trees, and the forest itself creates a peaceful and unique environment.
The staff were always warm, welcoming, and smiling. They made us feel comfortable from the very beginning of our stay. In particular, Cream, Kik, Zo, and Hardy were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our time there, and we are very grateful for their assistance.
The location of the resort is also excellent. There are many things to do nearby, a 7-Eleven is very close, and the night market is within easy reach, making it convenient to explore the area while still enjoying the tranquility of the resort.
The rooms located deeper inside the forest, which require a short walk through the greenery, are especially beautiful and add to the feeling of being immersed in nature.
Breakfast was another highlight. It offers a very wide variety of options and everything was delicious.
Overall, Pakasai Resort offers a perfect combination of nature, comfort, great service, and a fantastic location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again.

I had a lovely day pakasai resort the staffs were great. The whole hotel ambience was very beautiful and similar and also also their restaurant guy food was very good. The room interior is nice. It’s very eco-friendly resort outside a nice day. We stayed for two days here and of course I’ll recommend everyone to stay here at least for one or two today.

We had an amazing stay at Pakasai Resort in Krabi and would absolutely come back. The whole place feels like a peaceful jungle retreat while still being right near everything in Ao Nang.
The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with lovely natural surroundings that make you feel like you’re tucked away in nature. Waking up to greenery and the sounds of the forest was such a nice change from busy city hotels.
The staff were incredible — so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Service was consistently warm and professional, which made the stay even more relaxing.
One of the highlights was seeing monkeys around the resort area, which made the experience feel really special and unique (just keep your balcony doors closed like they advise 😄).
The pool area, gardens, and overall atmosphere made it so easy to unwind. Perfect mix of comfort, nature, and location.
Highly recommend Pakasai Resort if you’re staying in Krabi and want somewhere that feels like a tropical escape, not just a hotel.

We had such a lovely stay at Pakasai Resort 😍🪵💚 The grounds are incredibly lush and peaceful - it honestly feels like you’re tucked away in nature, even though you’re still close to Ao Nang Beach.
Our room felt like a private little hideaway, with lots of space, natural light, and beautiful eco-friendly touches throughout. Everything blends really nicely with the surroundings, which made it feel calm and relaxing from the moment we arrived. And I absolutely adored the grounds.
We really like the ice bath + steam room session (you just need to make a reservation for it but it’s really worth a try!) 🧊♨️
Breakfast was also a highlight — plenty of fresh options, great food, and a really nice open-air setting to start the day slowly. And unlike some hotels, they do have a lot of ‘customisable’ things - even the eggs you could order fluffy/buttery or more firm - exactly how you like it! 🍳😌🧁
Overall, it’s a great choice if you want something that feels tropical and tranquil, but still convenient for exploring Krabi. We’d definitely stay again!

We arrived at "Amari Vogue Krabi" after staying at a wonderful five-star hotel in Ko Lanta, so unfortunately the differences were immediately noticeable.
In the past, it was certainly a beautiful hotel, but today, in order to truly deserve its five-star rating, it would need a complete restyling. The property now feels dated, and the rooms are furnished with pieces that have clearly seen better days. While the overall atmosphere remains pleasant, the hotel would greatly benefit from a full renovation to meet modern five-star expectations.
The breakfast is good and varied, offering a nice selection to start the day. However, the restaurant does not quite live up to five-star standards in terms of quality and overall dining experience.
The real highlight of the hotel is its location. Positioned directly in front of the islands, it offers breathtaking views and truly magnificent sunsets, which are without a doubt the most memorable part of the stay.
Overall, a property with great potential and an outstanding location, but one that would need significant updating to fully justify its five-star status today.

Amari Vogue Krabi.
I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and overall had a lovely experience. The grounds are beautiful and the location right on a stunning sandy beach is a major highlight. The buffet breakfast was great, plenty to choose from, the team working there were polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Housekeeping also deserves recognition — they were fantastic and always helpful.
The hotel is around 30/40 minutes by car from Ao Nang, so it is quite secluded. This makes it peaceful, but something to be aware of if you prefer being closer to shops, restaurants, or nightlife. The scenery and grounds are lovely, but guests with mobility issues should note that the hotel sits on a steep incline. There are lots of steps and some uneven pathways, so getting around may be challenging.
There are some areas that could be improved. The beach bar service was disappointing, and even more so at happy hour often meant a long wait, and unfortunately, some staff were quite rude. On top of that, a 10% service charge was added to every drink even when I had to walk up to the bar myself to order, which made the charge feel unjustified.
For a hotel claiming to be 5-star, a few personal touches were missing. Simple additions like mats at the room entrances and room slippers would make a noticeable difference. The bathroom layout was also unusual — there was a door on the shower but none on the toilet, which seemed strange.
Despite these points, it’s a lovely place with great potential. With improved service at the beach bar and more attention to detail in the rooms, it could easily live up to its 5-star expectations.

A great place to relax, there were quite a few guests, still at no time did the hotel really feel crowded, be it the pools, the beach or any of the bars or restaurants. Perfect for people seeking peace and quiet. Wonderful views. Epic sunsets. And, last but not least fantastic staff. Take a ride (manageable by tuktuk) to the nearest town if you miss the hussle and bustle, or, take a relaxing longboat cruise straight from the hotel beach. And follow others, staff and guests alike, and smile:) a lot

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel and couldn't have asked for a better experience in Krabi.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome; everyone was exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist us with a smile. The rooms are simply fantastic—spacious, modern, and kept in impeccable condition with spotless cleaning every day.
One of the highlights was definitely the pool area. There are several pools to choose from, all beautifully designed and well-maintained. If you prefer the ocean, the beach is one of the most stunning in the area. It feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful compared to the busy center, making it the perfect spot to relax. Plus, we never had to worry about finding a place to sit, as there is an ample supply of sunbeds and fresh towels always available.
If you are looking for luxury, kindness, and a breathtaking location, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back

The hotel is located in the best area of the beach, it is quiet, the staff are very attentive, the hotel is very nice, with four swimming pools, one of which has a jacuzzi, spa and gym.
The breakfast is good but there is little variety of fruit and the cooked food is very spicy. There are few options for those who like a healthier breakfast but overall, it is top notch.
The rooms are impeccably clean and tidy.
If you're looking for fun/excitement, forget it. This is a hotel for relaxing and resting, and then you can do what I did. Call an Uber (400 baht/€10) and go to the centre of Krabi when you feel like it. There are markets, bars, restaurants and excitement.
I recommend it.

We stayed at this resort during peak season, so we paid peak-season prices—but it was completely worth it. I’d come back to Krabi again anytime, peak season or not.
The single-building cottage setup is great. It felt private and personal, and the courtyard sun beds were perfect for relaxing without feeling surrounded by other guests. At night, it was a surprisingly great spot for stargazing, and during the day it made drying swimsuits easy.
Breakfast was a highlight too—having a delicious buffet right by the beach in the morning was amazing. The food, atmosphere, and even the music brought back that “vacation feeling” instantly.
The location was very convenient, with good restaurants and shops nearby, and Phra Nang Beach was closer than from most resorts. The resort’s boat service was smooth and efficient, and the lounge area was a comfortable place to cool down before departure.

This hotel is a very good place to stay during the visit to Railay Bay. My wife and I spent four nights here, with our two small children.
We stayed in the One Bedroom Luxury Pool Villa, which was really great. It's a separate private villa with a small unheated pool, jacuzzi bath and an outside shower. I really enjoyed taking a shower outside in the rain, but I guess it's not for everyone. It was a good fit for a couple with two children.
The location of the villa is excellent as it's very close to the beach and the beach pool. The premises of the hotel are very big, so the location of the room is crucial. It's worth making sure your room location is convenient for walking. There are complimentary golf carts with drivers that you can use to get around the hotel premises or to Railay East.
There are two pools — one on the beach, which is very nice, and another one in the middle of the hotel.
The breakfast is good. For dinner, we went by foot to the main street and tried out different local restaurants each evening.The massage treatments at the spa were great and professional.
We arrived at the hotel by a private long boat taxi from Ao Nam Mao Pier, I understood that there is a complimentary long boat taxi if you arrive at specific times.
From the pier at Railay East there is a golf cart with a driver that transfers you with the luggage to the reception on Railay West.
We highly recommend taking the One Bedroom Luxury Pool Villa for an amazing stay!

Our stay at Railay Bay Resort & Spa from 27 Feb to 01 Mar 26 was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and seamless check-in immediately set the tone for a memorable stay.
The room was maintained to an impressively high standard — spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed. The bedding was luxurious, the bathroom well appointed, and the overall ambience offered both comfort and privacy. It truly felt like a peaceful tropical retreat.
One of the absolute highlights was the stunning swimming pool overlooking Railay West Beach. Relaxing there during sunset, with dramatic limestone cliffs framing the turquoise sea, was simply breathtaking. The view alone makes this property special. Have added some amazing photos from the evening & the Railay Street during night. Also, they have a another swimming pool in the property which is also quiet subtle.
We were travelling with our 1-year-old child for celebrating her 1st Birthday and the resort was wonderfully accommodating. The provided a cute room decor & a cake as well ☺️. The staff were attentive and genuinely caring, always smiling and interacting sweetly with our little one. The spacious layout of the property made it easy to move around comfortably, and the calm beachfront setting felt safe and family-friendly. It’s rare to find a resort that balances romance and family comfort so effortlessly.
What truly sets this resort apart is the cordial and professional staff. Every team member went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, making us feel valued throughout our stay.
For anyone visiting Railay and looking for a resort that combines high-quality rooms, breathtaking views, excellent facilities, and heartfelt hospitality — especially for families with young children — this is an outstanding choice. We would gladly return ❤️

Breakfast was included and that was excellent right on the Beach.
Hotel has 2 pools and one is right on the beach which was a big plus. Sadly no staff appeared to be looking after the pool and some guests didn’t remove their empties so pool area became dirty during the day.
Overall the staff were not attentive or useful other than the maids doing the rooms who were delightful.
If I ran this hotel I would be training the staff to be much more interested in their guests during the day and how they could make the stay better.
For the price point I wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed here for three nights. First, the location is excellent — the pool is right on the beach, with direct access to the ocean, which is a big plus.
Unfortunately, the rooms were the biggest downside. We were very excited about our villa based on the photos, but it was a disappointment in person. The room felt dated and poorly maintained. There was an unpleasant scent when we arrived, which was addressed with a small candle rather than a proper fix. The outdoor bath/pool area was particularly concerning — it was dirty, with visible algae in the water features.
The pillows were also extremely uncomfortable, more like large decorative cushions than proper sleeping pillows.
Staff were okay overall. While they didn’t assist us with booking tours (we had to go through another resort), they were quick to bring fresh towels when requested.
Breakfast was included and was fine — a standard resort offering.
Overall, given the price point, we wouldn’t recommend this property.

We stayed 5 nights at The Tubkaak Krabi in a beachfront pool villa, and it was everything we hoped for – calm, beautiful, and deeply relaxing.
The setting is stunning: right on the beach, facing the limestone islands, with a peaceful, almost timeless atmosphere. Our villa was spacious, private, and perfectly designed for switching off. Having our own pool just steps from the beach made it very hard to ever want to leave.
Service throughout the stay was excellent – attentive, kind, and genuinely warm without being intrusive. The resort never feels busy or loud, which is exactly what makes it special. This is not a party resort; it’s a place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy quality time.
Food was consistently very good, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, and evenings by the beach were particularly memorable.
One practical tip: if you plan to do the Hong Island boat trip, leave early in the morning. The islands are beautiful, but they get extremely crowded later in the day – an early departure makes a huge difference to the experience.
Overall, The Tubkaak is perfect if you’re looking for peace, luxury without flashiness, and true relaxation. We would happily return.

We had a fantastic stay at The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort in a pool-view room on the second floor. The room was thoughtfully designed, with enough space for two people and luggage without feeling tight. Everything was spotless, and we especially loved the outdoor shower — it added a relaxed, tropical feel that made the experience even more memorable.
What made the stay even more special was the location. The resort sits toward the end of the road on Tubkaak Beach, away from the busier areas of Krabi. We truly appreciated that distance. It limited traffic, outside noise, and random foot traffic along the beach. The setting felt quiet, secluded, and calm — exactly what we were hoping for. It allowed the natural beauty of the beach and the sunsets to take center stage without distraction.
The service is what truly elevates this property. The staff are exceptional — not just polite or efficient, but genuinely warm, attentive, and proud of what they do. There is an authenticity in their hospitality. From reception to the restaurant team, housekeeping, spa therapists, and beach staff, everyone contributed to making the stay seamless. You feel recognized. Small details are remembered. Assistance is offered naturally, without being intrusive.
That level of care transforms a beautiful hotel into something personal. It makes you look forward to returning after a day out, knowing you will be welcomed with a smile and that everything is taken care of.
The breakfasts and dinners were excellent in both quality and presentation. Morning yoga, paddle boarding, long beach walks, spa treatments, and cocktails at sunset directly on the beach created a perfect daily rhythm. The hotel feels intimate, calm, and refined, without being overly formal.
A beautifully presented property with truly outstanding service. This is the kind of place you return to — not only for the setting, but for the people who make it special.

We just had a fantastic time here. Service was excellent. Location is great. The beach is relatively quiet and the set up of beach lounges is great for hanging out and sunset drinks. I did free yoga classes which were chill. Breakfast was great though dinner was a little disappointing.
Would definitely recommend this resort if you are after a fancy, stress-free holiday. We only stayed 2 nights but I could have stayed longer!!

We have had a fantastic stay at the Tubkaak in a pool view room. The hotel is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at and deserves its very high rating. The room was spotless and we loved the outdoor shower. The staff are truly amazing, there are too many names to mention, but we’ve had exceptional service from Liala, Nan, Mai, Guide, Thita, Supa and they have been great fun. The food has been excellent. I am a coeliac and my wife is vegetarian and we generally eat in the hotel. The staff have gone out of their way to make sure all my food has been gluten free and they remember what you like at breakfast. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the gym, boat trips, paddle boarding, the sauna, beach walks, spa and cocktails at sunset on the beach. A truly impressive beautifully presented hotel. Thank you for a wonderful Holiday.

Everything is flawless here. They go to so much detail. The architecture is beautiful and the beach is the best I have ever been to.
Restaurants serve a delicious choice of food and the breakfast buffet is amazing.
Staff as so friendly and attentive.
We went with our 9 & 12 year old and there was plenty for them to do.
Free kayaking and paddle boarding in the amazingly warm sea and yoga in the mornings was great.

Oyoyo is Hungry
The resort is located on a private beach, and the only way to reach it is by taking a boat from Nopparat Thara Beach, which takes about 15 minutes. Because of this, the resort feels very peaceful and secluded.
The beach is long, quiet, and very beautiful with clear water. However, there are no fish or coral right in front of the beach.

I think this was the best place i’ve stayed in so far. The location was incredible, staff very friendly. Had the luck to see some monkeys as well near the pool. The breakfast was loaded with multiple types of food, even lunch dishes. The rooms were very elegant and the terrace was immersive and made you feel like you were in the jungle. I recommend following the monkey trail when going to the city, it should be safe even during the night. All in all, i felt like i was in While Lotus season 3. Would love to come back here sometimes in the future!

I don't know why the negative reviews. I really enjoyed this resort. Excellent location with complimentary boat shuttle. Everyone at this place was kind. The service was good and the food was excellent. Including the breakfast buffet. I celebrated my honeymoon here and couldn't have asked for more.
For people complaining. This resort will be closing for 2 years for upgrades. I do believe this resort can become a 6-star hotel.

The hotel is pretty nice overall, right on the beach with a really wide beachfront. The beach is swimmable and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea vibes. The atmosphere at night is also really lovely.
The rooms are a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. Service is great — staff are friendly and helpful.

Not worth the money!! The views were good but that’s it! The service was slow, food was average, the beach was not great - there is a sewer right at the end of Monkey trail that drains right into the beach. The water was green as a result, not blue, not clear and with jellyfish so we stayed away. Shuttle while available was quite inconvenient. If you’re going just to visit Krabi then stay in Ao Nang - lots of hotels and a lot to do just minutes away. We had a great experience at Panan Krabi Resort! If you’re going for the beach rather stay in the smaller islands like Koh Samui or Koh Tao.

Had a wonderful experience at Railay Village Resort. Started with a seamless pickup at the airport with a lunch stop on the way to the pier and a short boat ride to Railay Beach.
Staff were friendly and efficient, the resort grounds were beautiful and our pool side room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
We were able to take advantage of the rental sea kayaks at the beach and enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
We also enjoyed joyed the massage services offered at the spa. Definitely be my choice when we return to Krabi!

I booked two standard rooms and one villa with a pool, expecting the villa to be the highlight. Shockingly, the cheaper rooms were in much better condition. The villa was dirty and poorly maintained (see attached photos).
The Lows:
Service: Most staff were rude and uninterested. The only exception was one friendly lady at reception whose name I unfortunately didn't catch.
Dirty Facilities: The pool water was visibly dirty.
Overpriced: The pool bar prices are so inflated that most guests buy drinks at a nearby shop instead.
Special Occasions: We mentioned several times it was a friend's birthday, but the hotel did absolutely nothing.
The Exit: Even asking for the beach transfer felt like a burden to the staff; the driver was openly indignant.
The Highs:
The breakfast was actually delicious.
The location is stunning and perfect.
Final Verdict: Such a shame to see a beautiful location ruined by terrible management. I will never book here again and do not recommend it.
Oh for Godsake
We only booked for one night for our wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere a bit more up market and this place delivered.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is right on the beach, although our room was set back about 50 yards. The staff can't do enough for you either. We were only let down by a rowdy drunk family whooping and splashing other guests around the pool, and telling us all to "chill" when we complained.
Apart from that, it was great.

Make sure you tell them ahead of time what time you will arrive on the pier. We did not know to do this, and we had to drag our suitcases in the hot sun all over the island until we found the resort! This was not their fault at all, we just didn’t know.
The resort is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly.
I would suggest that they add more pool chairs, they only had about half the amount as needed so people were constantly having to share one pool chair or not being able to enjoy the pool at all because there weren’t enough chairs open
We did have problems with our AC and our shower, but the staff were very attentive at getting it fixed for us
Overall, for a four star resort, this is a really great option!

A very beautiful garden with well-maintained plants, where you can see animals such as monitor lizards, monkeys, squirrels, and frogs.
Breakfasts are not very diverse, with few fruits, but the view of the beach is lovely.
There are two pools, but the shower by the pool does not work.
The staff is friendly.
The villas look nice from the outside.
Inside, however, the interior is very worn-out — about 17 years old.
The doors are old, with dirt stuck to the handles.
When we checked in, we found the jacuzzi bathtub and the sink uncleaned, with hair left inside.
The faucet is very old and covered with stains.
There are no dispenser containers for liquid soap or shower gel.
There were stains from some liquids on the floor, and it wasn’t cleaned even once during our stay.
The air conditioner works, but it is extremely noisy — it’s impossible to sleep.
The lighting is very dim.
The towels are worn-out.
There are no disposable slippers; instead, there are slippers and fabric sandals that don’t look fresh.
There is no comfortable chair in the room.
There are no bedside lamps on the nightstands.
There are mosquitoes on the hotel grounds, but the hotel does not provide any mosquito repellents.
There are no showers near the pools.
There is no spa at the hotel.
The small pond near our villa was half-empty and had feces floating in it.
It’s a pity that in such a beautiful place guests are offered villas that are unpleasant to stay in due to the lack of renovation and poor cleanliness
