We stayed for 7 days in a beach villa. Unfortunately, it was opposite the landing / take off spot for hydro planes and aside the noise, the smell of fuel was not pleasant when you are trying to relax on the beach. Wooden sun beds were old and riddled with ants, we were advised that the rooms have been recently refurbished, though not ours. Hence 3 out of 5 stars given. We ended up going to other places to swim and relax. Tennis court is uneven concrete surface and not the standard you would expect to have in a 5* hotel. Rackets (and balls) are in a terrible state and need to be upgraded. Saying that, restaurants and bars around the resort were great and staff are exceptional. Coral reef around the island is full of different fish and baby sharks. There is a pool also but we have not tried it - it is not very big and all beds were taken when we were passing. Though we were not interested in the pool as the sea offers so much!

We had an unforgettable stay on this paradise island. The room was wonderful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The service was simply exceptional, with every staff member being attentive and welcoming. I would like to give a special thanks to Lamyae and the housekeeping gentleman for their availability and the impeccable quality of their service. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference and made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely return; it was a memorable experience!

We just returned from our 14-day honeymoon at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, and it was, without a doubt, the best vacation we could have ever imagined! From the moment we arrived, the amazing staff made sure that our experience was nothing short of magical. Every single person at the resort—from the reception to the restaurant, bars, and room service—went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and well taken care of. A special shoutout to Janitha and Asiri, who were incredibly responsive and attentive throughout our stay. Their efforts truly made our experience pleasant and memorable. We booked Beach Villa Number 168, and it was absolutely the BEST room ever! Nestled right next to the beach, it was spacious and perfect for two. The cleanliness of our room was consistently maintained day and night, and we want to give a heartfelt thanks to Ali, who was amazing. He created beautiful art on our bed using leaves and flowers, which we kept as a cherished memory. As non-drinkers, we were thrilled to find that whenever we requested non-alcoholic drinks, we were served alcohol-free champagne! They even sent a bottle to our room, which felt spectacular and so thoughtful. The facilities and services at the resort were fantastic! The pool and gym were well-maintained, and we enjoyed the spa, although I believe they might want to reconsider the pricing of some spa services. The overall vibe of the hotel was calming and serene, making it an ideal getaway. Dining was another highlight of our trip! The food at the main restaurant near the pool was delicious, offering a wide variety of cuisines. We had a lovely honeymoon dinner by the sea, and the setup was incredibly romantic. The fresh fish from that day’s catch was out of this world, and the staff took beautiful pictures of us, capturing the essence of our special evening. On our last day, they even surprised us by decorating our table, adding a thoughtful touch to our farewell. We made so many amazing memories at Adaraan Select Medhuparu, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any couple or family looking for a perfect getaway. We cannot wait to return to the Maldives and create even more beautiful memories at this incredible resort. Thank you, Medhuparu, for the unforgettable honeymoon experience!

Can’t recommend this place enough! We spent 8 nights in a garden villa and 1 night in a prestige water villa. The rooms were immaculate and well serviced, all the staff were friendly and polite, and the food was amazing at all the restaurants with allergens well listed. We also had massages at the spa which were wonderful. Thank you to everyone who made the holiday extra special!

We went there for our honeymoon in May and stayed in one of the over water villas. This was the most amazing place we've ever been to. Highly recommend the water villas 😍. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was wonderful especially our butler Nirdosh who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The Manta ray excursion was a must and did not disappoint. The food at the villa private restaurant was delicious! We also loved the Albino bar where the barman made some amazing cocktails. Overall this was the experience of a lifetime! If you're hesitating just do it and you won't regret it!
