We had a great stay with our family here. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the SPA was super nice, the pool is beautiful but could be a little bit cleaner. The rooms we had were really spacious with a beautiful view and were equipped with 2 air cons which made it really easy to adjust the room temperature especially at night.
The Hotel is in a very calm area where we could easily walk around in the evenings to discover the surroundings. As mentioned, we had a great stay but honestly, the hotel needs to be renewed! For me it would be a nice 4 star but not 5 star hotel! But very good! Thank you for having us!

We had a delightful couple of weeks at Amatara. The room service and house keeping staff were outstanding, catering to our every wish with lovely personal touches. There were 4 options for meals with enormous variety. All the food was delicious, especially the fruit.
The reception staff were outstanding, remembering us from the outset and again fulfilling every request.
The green space, birds and sea view and pool area are delightful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the well equipped gym and complimentary classes as well as other exercise options.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Phuket, this is the place to book! The hotel is vast and has very spacious, clean, and organically decorated villas and rooms. The facilities are amazing, with pools overlooking the beach, a wellness centre (gym etc), tennis court, synergy (yoga etc) and much more! The staff are so polite and kind, and always ready to help. My partner and I stayed here and booked a lavender massage which was pure bliss, and we also did some yoga which was challenging and refreshing in the morning. Nearby, there is a 7/11, and some smaller restaurants and markets, and even the aquarium. Overall, great positives about the hotel and the people who run it.

This hotel is truly outstanding! Our room was both spacious and luxurious, perfectly combining comfort and elegance. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with exceptional hospitality and impeccable service. The breakfast buffet was a true delight, offering a wide variety of choices, from fresh pastries and Asian dishes to salads, fruits, and juices. The spa experience was truly relaxing, and the breathtaking views of the sun and moon made our stay even more memorable. They also surprised me with a birthday cake, which added such a thoughtful and special touch to our visit. Every detail of our stay was remarkable and truly unforgettable. Thank you so much!

The resort is nice and clean and staff are very friendly. However, the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. The mattress was really firm, which gave us a backache, the pillows were soft and would deflate almost touching the mattress. The “King size bed” were 2 beds put together which had a separation in the middle which added to the discomfort. There weren’t any clear instructions on the phone to dial room service, house keeping, etc. If you’re looking to enjoy the view of the ocean, it will be somewhat spoiled with big cargo ships most of the time, either being parked there for days, or passing through. A lot of activities are dependent on the weather here (even if it’s just cloudy), such as wanting to do a private dinner on the beach, renting kayaks, swimming on the beach.
One thing to note is there’s not much nearby to do. The place is far from tourist spots/attractions - something to keep in mind. Ordering food at their restaurant or rooftop is also not “cheap” as by Thailand's standards, so don’t expect to have inexpensive food, it’s regularly priced compared to the US.
Some positives: the breakfast buffet (included) was great which we enjoyed. The golf cart service was quick to take us to and from the main entrance to leave the property. The property is well maintained, large, beautiful (including the rooms), and pool was clean.
