Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Yamm Villas

We stayed at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island in November, and the experience was truly exceptional. The island is stunning, the hotel is beautiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious. What really made the difference, however, was the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff. Special thanks to Santosh and Hassan at the reception for their warm welcome and constant attention, Dilky, Jaison, and Yanira at the restaurants for their friendliness and excellent service, the entire drivers team for their professionalism and care, and the Spa Manager, as well as Desak and her colleague, for their exceptional treatments and truly magical hands. Every interaction was thoughtful and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We would also like to thank all the team members whose names we may not know, but who contributed every day with their smiles, dedication, and professionalism to making our stay so special. A very special mention to Jonathan, our guide during the excursion, who helped us discover the island in an exceptional way. We learned so much thanks to his knowledge and passion. Half the villas have direct access to the ocean, the other half is facing the bay - no swimming there, but views, birds and animals watching is great. All villas except 21 where we stayed have fence and very private. Villa 21 has an opening in the side fence where other people are walking by and can see you. Each villa has a private pool - can be made either hot or cold (by request), some villas have infinity pool. Beautiful pretty big infinity pool in the common area at the beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach front, right by the water and plenty of sitting accommodations at the villa itself. Peacocks roaming around and small gazelles. The villas are perfect for watching sunrises. Pretty good restaurant with extensive menu. We enjoyed daily breakfast. Full bar and happy hour ( drinks discounted) from 5-7pm. The listing mentions outdoor shower in villas, but there wasn’t one - just a placeholder for it without hookups, not sure if that’s coming some time in the future. Currently (November 2025) there are renovations and construction going on by the bike path, so we had noise at night from construction vehicles which is unfortunate and we were not given any heads up from hotel about this. Otherwise this is a wonderful property, great for night photography and moon photography-especially the side of the hotel where no bike path as it has lighting all night.

Not Worth Visiting ! Unfortunately, our experience at Anantara Resort was extremely disappointing and does not reflect Abu Dhabi’s standards of hospitality at all. Every single request took more than an hour—whether it was arranging transportation, ordering food, or requesting any kind of service. The delays were constant and exhausting. Even more disappointing was the poor service quality we faced, which made the experience stressful rather than relaxing. For a resort at this price point, the level of service was far below expectations. You pay a significant amount of money expecting comfort and relaxation, but instead you get stress, long waiting times, and an overall bad experience. Despite the 3 hour car trip from the airport to the ferry port, and another 45 mins ferry to the resort, and another 20 mins to the rooms, put in mind the long waiting times between them. I would not recommend this resort to anyone given the poor service and difficulty in reach.

We had 2 nights with family in Al yam island. Staffs are extremely friendly and roos is wonderfuly maintained. I am definitely visiting again soon. If you want the time off from busy city life in UAE, highly recommend.

We spent two amazing nights , the staff / service were spectacular and so welcoming . Hospitality is superb .Food was amazing in the Italian restaurant and Savanah . But i did massage and got injury in my lower back( critical Muscle spasm) and could not walk for 4 days , the masseuse were applying high pressure on my girlfriend and i . ( i hope it will be taken into consideration)
