We had a wonderful honeymoon at the Avista hideaway. I want to give my thanks to the front manager and the staff for making our stay incredible. The hotel is well maintained surrounded by lushes gardens. The hotel is tucked in a forest away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. However, if you want to explore Patong, the hotel has a shuttle that goes to the area 4 times a day.
Breakfast was 4/5 - food was good but some of the pastries had insects crawling. The pancakes, waffles and French toast were dry.
The spa was pricier than what you would get outside the hotel but the masseuse was knowledgeable and well trained.
I highly recommend this resort and will definitely come back again.

The team was attentive, friendly, and always eager to help, which made our experience even more memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the Tambu Rooftop Restaurant. The food was outstanding, with a diverse menu that offered something for everyone, and each dish was both flavorful and beautifully presented. The ambiance on the rooftop added to the experience, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and luxury with gorgeous views.
I highly recommend Avista Hideaway for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and exquisite dining made this a stay I won’t soon forget. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Our stay at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong had its highlights and a few letdowns. The staff were wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and as friendly as you'd expect in a high-end Thai resort. The real standout, though, was the rooftop dining. The views from up there are absolutely breathtaking, with Sizzle restaurant offering the best food we had on our entire trip.
However, while the setting and views from the rooftop are top-notch, the same can't be said for the rooms. Although clean and comfortable, the rooms feel a bit dated and could use a refresh to truly match the level of the surroundings and service. Additionally, the rooms don’t share the same scenic views as the rooftop, which was a bit of a letdown considering the stunning landscape.
Would we return? Probably not, simply because Phuket offers plenty of other options where laid-back, professional service is combined with even better scenery. But if you’re in Patong and looking for a convenient, comfortable stay with great food and nightlife access, Avista Hideaway is a solid choice.

I had a fantastic stay at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong. It’s a true luxury hotel with top-notch facilities and service. The location is perfect, being the closest resort to the beautiful Freedom Beach.
The hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The lightning and room decoration are amazing.
A big thank you to the wonderful hotel staff. They are excellent, especially Ms. Nice, Golf, and Mi, who made my stay even more enjoyable.
This is one of the best hotels in Thailand for anyone looking to relax in a peaceful setting.

The hotel has good facilities, including a game room with pool, darts, ping pong, and more. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of options, and there is a juicer with a wide selection of fruits for guests to make their own juice. The complimentary spa from the wellness package is amazing, and the spa’s serene ambiance makes guest feel good and relaxed. Enjoyed the fire show which started at 6.45pm on selected days. The hotel is located up the hill, so getting around hotel requires a buggy or climbing stairs, which might not be suitable for everyone. The room is decent.
