This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Everything is absolutely stunning. The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in an ocean view room which was stunning and well-sized with a comfortable bed and all the expected amenities. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection, something for everyone. Room service was fast and delicious. Pools are beautiful and perfect temperature and the pool bar service is top notch. Location was perfect for us - its away from the craziness of Patong Beach so it's nice and quiet but be prepared to spend 300-400 baht each way to get down to Patong/Bangla. Would highly recommend for adult couples.

We had a pleasant stay at the Avista, stunning hotel with really lovely pool areas. Great food and drink. Gorgeous room and very comfortable. Great location - easy access to Patong if you fancy the hustle and bustle for far enough away to escape it. Sizzle and Tambu both excellent restaurants and again with great settings. Only negatives I would say is wine is expensive but we found this in other areas of Phuket as well (particularly Patong) and there did seem to be some bias towards other nationalities. Public areas of the hotel could be quite noisy at night - it would be good if the hotel could remind guests to be quiet in these areas. Also adult pool area too small - a larger area would be great.

Avista Hideaway is an exceptional stay in the Patong area of Phuket. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect after reading a variety of reviews, but to sum up the quality of the stay. I would rate the Avista Hideaway a high-end 4 star resort (4.75/5) that misses a few marks compared to other 5 star resorts in Phuket. Upon check-in we were given a Butterfly Kiss a complimentary welcome drink while enjoying the stunning view that the lobby provided. I had the pleasure of staying 2 nights. My initial booking was the Garden View Room, however upon notifying the staff that it was mine and my partner’s anniversary stay they promptly upon arrival upgraded us to the Premier Room - Jacuzzi suite. This made it all the more special of a stay, though I imagine this is only done on a as-available basis (don’t always expect an upgrade). Some reviews had concerns over cleanliness and I can confidently say I did not have that issue. Though there was some room for improvement for shower drainage and some cosmetic bleaching of the jacuzzi needed. The water pressure from the shower is amazing which leads me to think that the drain system isn’t properly fitted for the high quality rain shower head. We were given a complimentary cake for our anniversary and a stick arrangement on the bed celebrating our anniversary. The cake was a very sweet gesture, but I would say the packages for the anniversary initial bedding were a bit high in price. In comparison, I stayed at another 5 star hotel in Rawai and complimentary swans were made on the bed with petals. The same would have costed approximately 2500 baht at the most minimal package, but we opted for no arrangement so it was still a welcoming gesture. The buggy service was not as inconvenient as others have stated, I thought it was nice to have given we didn’t need to haul luggage from our room to the lobby and vice versa. There may be a mixed crowd at the Avista given it is near the night life area, but I had no problems with people. Breakfast was excellent. There were many healthy and savory options available for all kinds of tastebuds. One final improvement the hotel could make would be to ensure the cabinetry is cleared of any critters. I was going through the amenities in the room and saw a very small spider in the pool bag closet and promptly decided to use my own 😅 Being in SE Asia it isn’t a rarity to come across a bug or two, but I can see this being an issue for some of the more light of heart people. If I were to stay in Patong again, Avista Hideaway would be among the hotels I would revisit. Hope this helps anyone looking to plan a stay at Avista Hideaway!!

We stayed here for a week over Christmas as a couple and loved the hotel, the service and the location. The hotel is slightly outside Patong (10-15 minute taxi ride for 250baht) and this means you can easily enjoy everything in Patong while still being secluded from the noise and hectic life. Our room was spacious and nice and had everything we needed. We loved the fact that there were three pools but mainly used the adults only one. Stunning views from the restaurant and bar as well as a very good breakfast buffet and good food at the restaurants added to the positive experience. Is there anything they can do better? Well, the gym was okay but could do with more and more modern machines. Moreover, it was a bit noisy in the mornings when they made up other rooms. But these are complaints on a very high level. We will definitely try to come back for a bit longer…

I had a wonderful stay at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong. I was impressed from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very peaceful, offering great privacy and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were well-equipped, and the beautiful view made the entire stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. Special thanks to the front desk staff, especially Khun Butter, for the excellent service. She was very friendly, polite, and always willing to help with helpful information. Her professionalism made my stay smooth and truly memorable. I would definitely return again in the future.
