We stayed at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong while traveling as a family of three and had mixed experiences overall. The restaurant and food were good, and the staff were friendly and polite; however, they were clearly very busy, especially during the holiday season. We booked and paid full price months in advance for a Deluxe Family Room for three adults, but upon arrival the room was not prepared accordingly—there were missing towels, robes, and amenities for the third guest. Despite several requests to the front desk and housekeeping, the robes were never delivered during our stay. The hotel location is beautiful and peaceful, and we appreciated the opportunity to explore a different side of Phuket. However, during peak season the overall operations did not feel well managed for a property marketed as a five-star hotel. Having stayed at another five-star hotel in Phuket for five days prior, the difference in service consistency and amenities was noticeable, and Avista felt closer to a four-star experience. We value high-quality service and are good tippers, so this was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve guest preparedness and service standards, especially during busy periods.

I would like to give a special thank you to Butter Pong (Bellman Team), Pueng (Reception), Vishal (Breakfast Restaurant), and Digvijay (Assistant Reservation Manager) for making my 5th anniversary stay truly memorable. Although it was a short stay, the hospitality from everyone was exceptional, with a very warm and genuine welcome throughout. Upon check-in, Khun Pueng greeted us warmly and served a wonderful welcome drink, creating a great first impression. Butter and Pong kindly escorted us to the room and provided a clear and helpful explanation of the room and hotel facilities, which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The room upgrade, beautiful anniversary decoration, and lovely cake were all thoughtful touches that made our celebration extra special. I also truly enjoyed breakfast, where Khun Vishal took excellent care of us and ensured a pleasant dining experience. Thank you once again to the entire team for the amazing hospitality and attention to detail. It was a memorable stay, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong – MGallery is truly one of the hidden gems we were lucky to discover. We stayed there over New Year’s, arriving on December 30 and leaving on January 2, and it was honestly the best decision we could have made for our holidays. The hotel is located on a hilltop, away from the madness of Patong, and it genuinely feels like you’re staying in the jungle. The atmosphere is peaceful, private, and beautifully designed. The service and facilities were absolutely top-notch. We were incredibly happy to receive an upgrade to a villa with a private pool, which made the experience even more special. The privacy was perfect, and everything—from the service to the breakfasts—was outstanding. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and proactive; we barely had to ask for anything. We also celebrated New Year’s here, and it was the best New Year’s we’ve ever had. The Sizzle Rooftop Restaurant offers breathtaking sunset views and is perfect for a romantic getaway. An unforgettable stay—we couldn’t recommend it more.

We stayed here for a week over Christmas as a couple and loved the hotel, the service and the location. The hotel is slightly outside Patong (10-15 minute taxi ride for 250baht) and this means you can easily enjoy everything in Patong while still being secluded from the noise and hectic life. Our room was spacious and nice and had everything we needed. We loved the fact that there were three pools but mainly used the adults only one. Stunning views from the restaurant and bar as well as a very good breakfast buffet and good food at the restaurants added to the positive experience. Is there anything they can do better? Well, the gym was okay but could do with more and more modern machines. Moreover, it was a bit noisy in the mornings when they made up other rooms. But these are complaints on a very high level. We will definitely try to come back for a bit longer…

Amazing stay at Avista! We stayed at Avista for 2 nights and it was by far our favourite hotel on our holiday in Thailand. It is super quiet and has an amazing view from the pool. It is located very close to Patong Beach & shops making it an easy trip if needed. A special mention to Kieran at the pool bar for his excellent service & for going above and beyond for us and even sharing a laugh! He was super helpful and friendly & even gave us travel tips for Thailand and India! We will definitely be back!
