Fantastic holiday, would highly recommend. Staff were excellent! Mary at the beach bar was our favourite always had a big smile. Jeffrey and Adrian in the beach restaurant were also excellent, nothing was too much trouble. First time in a Bahia hotel and we were very impressed. One of the best hotels we have stopped at in the Caribbean.

Disappointing Experience with Unresolved Concerns While we were excited to celebrate a wedding at this hotel, we encountered numerous significant issues that overshadowed our experience: Check-In Process: Despite submitting the necessary information well in advance, our group faced a chaotic check-in, with long wait times and disorganized room assignments. Many guests were placed far apart, and the staff’s lack of coordination added to our frustration. Room Assignments: Several older guests were assigned distant rooms, creating daily challenges for us as we had to escort them. Additionally, my mother, who needed a handicap-accessible room, was not accommodated despite our prior request. Food Quality: The food was mediocre, and we were shocked to find a roach in the bread basket during a meal. Following this incident, several guests experienced stomach issues, which significantly impacted our stay. Bar Service: The bar was severely understaffed, resulting in long wait times. We often had to go to a different bar to get served, which was inconvenient. Nightclub Experience: The nightclub had only one staff member handling a large crowd, making it nearly impossible to get drinks in a timely manner. Transportation Issues: I arranged transportation for our guests but received no confirmation of my request, leading to confusion on the day of the event. Please note: I reached out to management regarding these issues, hoping for a resolution, but their response was disappointing and did not adequately address my concerns. While they acknowledged some of the problems we faced, their reply felt more like a series of excuses than genuine attempts to rectify the situation. They dismissed several of our complaints by stating that these issues were not representative of their daily operations. Specifically, when I reported the incident of finding a roach in the bread basket, their response was particularly troubling. They claimed it was impossible to link any health issues, including those experienced by some guests, to the food served at the resort. This not only undermines our experience but also raises serious concerns about their commitment to guest safety and satisfaction. The lack of accountability for these critical issues was deeply troubling, leaving us feeling unheard and unvalued as guests. On a positive note, I commend the room cleaning staff for their excellent service, which was a highlight of our stay. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations, and I urge the hotel to take these matters seriously for future guests.

We’ve been here for four days now, and we can already say it’s even better than we expected. Everything people say about the staff is true! The staff is very friendly, polite, and there are plenty of entertainment programs, so you won’t get bored here! The hotels aren’t the newest, but they are clean and well-maintained. The water isn’t the turquoise color you might expect to see in the Caribbean, but the beach area is very beautiful and well-kept. We haven’t regretted choosing this hotel even once.

Only been here less than 24 hours and everything is absolutely perfect. The staff are the friendliest we have ever encountered anywhere. The rooms are a bit dated but perfectly livable. The resort and grounds are immaculate. English is widely spoken but the staff are enthusiastic with you when you try and speak Spanish and will take delight in helping you out. Overall, early days but we couldn't recommend this place enough

I found the rooms very spacious and extremely clean. The daily housekeeper (Liedy) was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us as I suffered quite badly with bites but only due to the time of year. The hotel grounds are kept immaculate by the hard working staff. The quiet pool was just great for us and lovely and warm. Beware that this hotel does not have a lift but reception will do there best to put you on a lower floor if needed.
