Beautiful hotel and the rooms are very spacious, the food in the restaurants is lovely with so much choice. The pools are large and always clean - plenty of comfortably sunbeds. The only reason I would not return is because the entertainment is not good on an evening, we were going back to our room at 8pm after dinner every night.

HONEST REVIEW: Beautifully maintained place! Very, very clean! I highly appreciate that. The food was great, the beach is clean and well lit at night which is great as you can spend time there even after dark. The entertainment is superb for all ages. I can complain about anything, really. Yes, the water is not turquoise blue, but the swimming in it is very pleasant as it is calm and warm. I would suggest to give it a shout if you want to stay in gorgeous La Romana and not break the bank.

Amazing hotel! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from each day. The hotel was always clean and appears that efforts are made to keep it in good shape. I give it 4 stars since shower/hot water pressure was not great and they don't enforce the 'no reserving beach chair' rules. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

It is the second time we go to one of the Bahia Principe hotels, they don't disappoint. The food is a m a z i n g. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are nice, not over the top. The beach is nice, not top 10 but nice. Activities all day, drinks are good and served quickly, restaurants are big and well maintained, night entertainment would receive a 3 star, they could do a lot better. We definitely needed some time off and pamper our selves and we had it here. Every meal was amazing!

Service was excellent, entertainment staff very engaging. Resort shows some signs of aging, especially in the rooms. Food is hit or miss, but you should be able to find something of your liking for most meals. Italian restaurant was best of the three. Mediterranean means seafood here.
