I just spent a week at Breathless Soul with my husband and a couple of friends. Here is my detailed review of my experience. The Good Food: The food was amazing. This included the buffet. It was lacking protein options but the taste and the quality was consistently outstanding. The restaurants are walk-in, no reservations needed, and our group really preferred this set up vs the normal reservations system. The wait times were normally short and the food was amazing. Especially the Italian restaurant! Service: The service was one of the best I’ve experienced. The cleaning staff was great about cleaning the rooms and turndown service was great too. The hotel staff was always super friendly and sweet. Everyone wanted to go out of their way to make the guests happy. Entertainment: There was constantly things to do throughout the day and at night. There would be new themes, performances, even restaurants that would pop up! It was such a fun experience walking around at night. The Areas of Improvement Lack of seating around the pool: There’s realistically only one pool - the second pool is on the rooftop and it was windy up there. Theres a huge system of “buying” cabanas (we were quoted 300USD) and they take up a lot of space where real seats could go. If I’ve paid for an all-inclusive, I shouldn’t have to wake up at 7am to find a seat or else pay up to have a spot in the sun. Wine bottles: The staff tries to sell you wine and other alcohol at every single restaurant you go to dine at. Things other reviews have mentioned that I didn’t notice The noise level: Aside from one early morning triathlon that happened in the community park next door (super, super loud announcements starting at 5am and lasted until 10am), there wasn’t any noise after 11PM. It was a real concern I had because I saw a lot of reviews claiming that the music plays until 2am on most nights - it seems like they’ve taken the feedback and implemented it. All parties end at 11pm and the last bar closes at 1am. They’re really good at enforcing the rules and controlling the crowd. All in all, it was an AMAZING experience and I would come back here again. Taking one star off for the lack of seating at the pool but I want to try other Hyatt properties after the experience I had here.

What an amazing resort! At an all inclusive you expect the food to be sub par but not here! The chefs cooking outside on the RT pool made delicious burgers, tacos, nachos & wings everyday! The breakfast buffet had anything and everything, with it all being delicious. We paid the extra for Hibachi one night and I cannot stress doing that enough, absolutely delicious. Sergio was the MAN for our drinks at the pool! You'd barely be out of your drink and there he was with a new one! Sergio we will miss you, thanks for taking such great care of our group! Will be back :)

My husband and I stayed from March 14th - March 21st. I’m going to bullet point this in 3 categories The good ~ The bad ~ The ugly The good ~ - Beautiful views - Amazing customer service (bar service aside) - Food was decent - Incredibly safe - We left resort with no issues or anxiety - Modern and gorgeous rooms - Very clean resort overall. - Amazing shower. I miss that shower 🥹 - Unsure if good or bad, but booze is definitely NOT watered down 🥴 The bad ~ - Noise pollution (more hotel than resort) heard traffic and sirens every 20-60 mins - No authentic food - I wanted a taco so bad 😞 - No authentic music (they were playing Taylor swift..) - A lot of stairs. My calories thank you, my vacation mode did not 😅 - They absolutely need more bartenders. It’s not that the service is bad, it’s that there isn’t it enough supply for the demand. The ugly ~ - Gift shop prices ($10 American for a bag of chips) - Federal public beach - So there are kids present despite adult only resort - Not all food options included. Had to pay extra for some food options. - No ability to make change for pesos. Unsure if this is to encourage tipping higher due to inability to break larger bills (we tried about four times) - Husband and I noticed blood on the ground that stayed there for about 2 days before cleaned up. Overall I would give a 7.5/10. Will not be back due to personal reasons, (too hotel, we prefer more resort ) but don’t think it’s a bad option for consideration 🥰

My husband & l had the most beautiful wedding-moon at Breathless Cancun Soul on 3.20.25. The wedding coordinators Mitzy Espinosa and assistant Daryl were absolutely AMAZING. Mitzy answered every email & concern I had. I worried the heck out of her but she was always so prompt in her email responses and really put my mind at ease. I mailed a package to her via DHL of important items for our ceremony and she made sure DHL delivered the package timely. My husband & I traveled alone with no wedding party. We kept it very intimate. On the day of our ceremony Daryl helped me tremendously. Mitzy & Daryl helped me with my dress & everything in between. They truly went above & beyond and I can't thank them enough. The decor, the cake…Everything was PERFECT! I highly recommend Breathless Cancun Soul for your destination wedding or vowel renewal ceremony. You will not be disappointed. We are still on cloud 9 and miss Mitzy & Daryl so much. They will forever be in our hearts and we're looking forward to seeing them again next year when we return for our anniversary. Also want to shoutout Blanca, the wedding officiant. Jonathan & Edgar for photography & videography during our ceremony. Eduardo, Robinson & Dulce in the Xhale Lounge. Sergio-Xhale rooftop. David at the Spumante Restaurant. The chef Gloria at Spumante and the manager, Xenia. The food was so yummy at Spumante. We ate there twice because we loved it so much. Also Francisco at Spoon was amazing and remembered our names. Also thank you to concierge staff that allowed my husband to charge his phone because he left his charger at home. The facial & massage at the Relax Spa was phenomenal. Thank you all so much for your kindness and making our wedding-moon so special!!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. Upon check in it was pretty smooth even outside of them not finding our reservation right away! We were greeted by a Hyatt sales associates that tried to sell us on a time share slot and was pretty aggressive about it. Once we told her no, she abruptly ended that conversation with an attitude and we were escorted to our room. The room was gorgeous. The one thing that they do not tell you for an all inclusive adults only is there are kids everywhere on the beach in front of the resort. We booked the Xhale master suite ocean front king room with hot tub on balcony, which was hard to use with that many families and kids staring up at you! They do not tell you that it is a public beach and not private for the resort. Food was ok not great! You can’t make reservations so you have to wait about an hour plus to be seated. Entertainment was good and the ambience was nice. Customer service was top-notch! Drinks were good but not enough bartenders to keep up with volume. If you like wine it’s very limited and the ones they have aren’t very palatable. Major Cons were the rooms and corridors smelled musty and almost moldy. We had to spray cologne around the room every day, even after asking housekeeping to come in and spray but never did. Every day we were greeted by sales associates, asking us to purchase other amenities, services and or upgraded dining for additional fees! This happened five or six times a day if not more and all of them got very upset when we politely refused. There was a lot of police activity on the beach and sirens most of the day/night that could be heard from our room and pool area. All that aside we did have a good time but would not choose to come back to this resort.
