Review of Breathless Cancun
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Breathless Cancun, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is absolutely stunning, boasting a beautiful atmosphere and luxurious amenities. However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement, particularly when it comes to dining options.
While I appreciated the warm welcome gesture of receiving a towel upon arrival, I believe that increasing investment in food quality would significantly enhance the overall stay. The culinary offerings were a mixed bag; there were standout dishes, especially from the Mexican restaurant and Fishnet, which were among the best I had during my visit. The steak I ordered was particularly delicious.
If you're contemplating the Xhale club upgrade, you might find more variety, but I still think the overall food quality could be better. Additionally, the beverage selection needs some work—the orange and pineapple juice, in particular, could use a refresh.
Another point worth mentioning is the frequent sales pitch for the club offerings. I was approached at least twice a day about joining the club for perks like a free massage. While I appreciate the intent, it felt excessive, especially after I had already declined.
In summary, while Breathless Cancun shines in terms of ambiance and certain menu items, I hope they consider enhancing their food quality and reducing the aggressive sales tactics to match the high standards of the hotel itself.

My husband and I had an overall great stay at this resort. The check in process was very smooth and the staff were very friendly and professional. The resort is very modern, clean, and well maintained.
While we enjoyed our stay, I believe there are some areas where this location can improve on. For example, the food was ok at best. Do not expect a 5 star culinary experience coming to this resort. I believe if the recipes were tweaked a bit, it would make a major difference in taste. My favorite restaurants were Spoon and Piquante.
Another suggestion that can improve guest experience is having more engaging activities/events. The night life there felt very repetitive, often playing the same music each night. From what I saw, this is definitely not a party resort so for those who are interested in that, this may not be the place for you.
Overall, my husband and I had a lovely time. This was a place of rest and relaxation for us and we are happy with choosing this resort for our vacation!

This was our first time with Breathless and it did not disappoint! Our expectations were exceeded in all areas. Food and room were AMAZING! The service from the staff was incredible. We felt pampered, relaxed and it was the perfect vacation 😎 . We are already planning our return to Breathless for next year. Thank you Breathless for an amazing 10 day getaway!

We had a wonderful experience at this breathless for our Honeymoon. I was amazed at how clean the resort was and well put together; definitely one of the cleanest resorts I have stayed at. While it is a smaller plot of land, they really make use of it the space, having lots to do on the roof tops as well as the beach level. It is a smaller beach, and there is public access to it so it can get busy, you really still get a lot out of the experience and I don’t feel it detracted. We were Xhale members, so we took advantage of the Xhale club each day and found that very worth it to have some quieter separation from the other pools. There is definitely always something going on!! The food was great, and the wait staff were always so friendly (shout out to the guys at the buffet!!). I would definitely return here.

Going in with a 5.0! Honestly, the staff absolutely make this resort! Truly amazing people! We had everything we needed and if it wasn't right at our finger tips, we could ask and get it or something really close! By the end of the week, they just brought us our typical drinks at the pool and restaurants, without us even asking! I only worry how much they work as most were there lots of hours, every day! Everyone seemed happy, so hopefully they are well taken care of!
We upgraded to Xhale, expedited check in was nice, but we didn't really find a need for the lounge. We used the rooftop pool a couple times, but honestly preferred the general rooftop "party pool" The service was consistent/excellent at all locations and we had no problem getting what we wanted to drink/types of liquor, at any of the bars. Not sure the room differences, but our Ocean Front with jacuzzi on balcony was fantastic! We had a great stay!
