My husband and I stayed from March 14th - March 21st.
I’m going to bullet point this in 3 categories
The good ~ The bad ~ The ugly
The good ~
- Beautiful views
- Amazing customer service (bar service aside)
- Food was decent
- Incredibly safe - We left resort with no issues or anxiety
- Modern and gorgeous rooms
- Very clean resort overall.
- Amazing shower. I miss that shower 🥹
- Unsure if good or bad, but booze is definitely NOT watered down 🥴
The bad ~
- Noise pollution (more hotel than resort) heard traffic and sirens every 20-60 mins
- No authentic food - I wanted a taco so bad 😞
- No authentic music (they were playing Taylor swift..)
- A lot of stairs. My calories thank you, my vacation mode did not 😅
- They absolutely need more bartenders. It’s not that the service is bad, it’s that there isn’t it enough supply for the demand.
The ugly ~
- Gift shop prices ($10 American for a bag of chips)
- Federal public beach - So there are kids present despite adult only resort
- Not all food options included. Had to pay extra for some food options.
- No ability to make change for pesos. Unsure if this is to encourage tipping higher due to inability to break larger bills (we tried about four times)
- Husband and I noticed blood on the ground that stayed there for about 2 days before cleaned up.
Overall I would give a 7.5/10.
Will not be back due to personal reasons, (too hotel, we prefer more resort ) but don’t think it’s a bad option for consideration 🥰

Very good Resort, with mix of romance and party life . Very clean, hospitality is absolutely amazing, and everybody attends to you well. We went jet skiing to another resort and realized the difference between this and others. The cleanliness is just off the charts. I was hesitant due to not much reviews, but it’s because it’s a new resort . Went with my girl, and were 20 years old. Mix of ages, amazing people fun all around!!
Food is really good too, never cheated out on anything, and attended to great. If you want to get really drunk and have a good time , this is the place . Only 3 years old too, so very modern and bougie. The rooms are beautiful with beautiful views .
All together I give this resort 10/5 Stars because of the amazing people, the modern touch, and the vibe all in all.
The workers will be your friends . Sucks to leave, til again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Breathless Soul in Cancun, and I cannot recommend it enough! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a memorable time. The food was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite was delicious.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s clear they take pride in providing excellent service and ensuring every guest has a wonderful experience. If you’re in Cancun, make sure to visit Breathless Soul for an unforgettable experience and top-notch hospitality!

This place was extremely disappointing. Although the room appeared updated, it smelled horrible and the showers smelled like a sewer.
We rented cabanas by the pool which was $50.00 USD. 10 min after paying the concierge and setting our beach bags on the cabana, a resort employee walked up and demanded we get off the cabana because it was an upcharge.
I let her know we paid for it and gave her our room number, she ran off to confirm - which is understandable, but, She never apologized for the way she spoke to us. That was poor communication on their part - we did not deserve to be talked to in that manner.
The restaurants had awful service! We waited 45 minutes to get a drink and 2 hours to get the food on the 1st night. Our friend upgraded to eat lobster for $60 USD - the lobster came out 2 hours later overcooked and tasted like rubber.
All of our drinks had this awful soap taste and I've never been so sick from food on a resort as I was at Breathless.
SAVE your money - do your research and go somewhere else.
Additionally, I've never been to a resort that is so focused on upselling and treating you poorly if you didn't upgrade. Each of our friends paid around 4k per person for this trip so it was more than frustrating to be treated as if our presence was not appreciated. I've been to several resorts and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

Loved this trip for our anniversary get away! The room was probably one of the best we’ve stayed in. The service was great, although there is no private butler, you do have exclusive access if you pay for it - worth it.
The beach isn’t much and the water was shallow but it didn’t hurt our opinion of the place at all!
Like the party pool and then retreating to the rooftop once the party pool closed down.
The service was top notch at all the restaurants. The food was quality and plentiful!
The only thing that was a little underwhelming was the spa experience.
Overall would definitely recommend and return!!
