We had an amazing stay at Cinnamon Bentota Beach. The hotel has a perfect mix of elegant design and tropical charm, with a spacious, beautifully decorated room that had a sea view and a private balcony. The beach is right in front of the hotel – wide, clean, and almost empty, which made it feel like our own private paradise. The pool area was one of our favourite spots, with quiet corners to relax and a great pool bar with refreshing drinks. We chose the full board package and were really impressed with the variety and quality of the food – breakfast buffets were rich and well presented, and the à la carte lunches were always tasty and beautifully served. All the staff we interacted with were kind and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, perfect for recharging. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and looking for a peaceful, high-end beach experience.

Excellent Field Visit and Outstanding Hospitality I highly recommend this hotel. From the grand Kandyan drum welcome to the final goodbye, the staff was excellent. We learned a lot about the hotel's journey and their back-end engineering systems. It is a beautiful blend of history and modern tech. The architecture by Geoffrey Bawa is stunning. Thank you to the entire team for being so helpful and professional!

A True Architectural Gem! We had a great visit yesterday. The traditional welcome was a lovely touch. We were very impressed by the engineering team's presentation on how the hotel operates. The Geoffrey Bawa design is breathtaking, and the staff treats everyone with so much respect. Truly a world-class place with great hospitality.

Top luxury beach resort in Sri Lanka. They are delivering true class through every touch point during the stay. The swimming pools, beach, gardens and the riverside bring that perfect getaway vibe. The rooms were spacious. Easy access to the garden and pool. The food is top class, one of the most scrumptious spread for both dinner and even better for breakfast. The pink hopper and some amazing Sri Lankan curries along with chinese, Indian and western cuisine is out of this world. Great people proving good service by the pool and the restaurants. Check in and check out was smooth. The only problem is the price, I think those booking directly or through online agencies are paying so much higher than those who book via tour operators. Those who book direct don’t seem to get any extra value for the premium we are paying. Some amazing water sports available which you can book with local suppliers on the beach. We also spent some quality time on the beach, one of thr best beach spots in Sri Lanka.

This is hands-down the best hotel in Sri Lanka! The resort is just a 5-minute walk from Bentota station, making it super convenient. The service is outstanding—staff are incredibly friendly and always eager to help. Their buffets are a highlight, packed with delicious variety from authentic local dishes to Western favorites. We had an amazing stay and plan to return soon for even longer.
