Wow.. What a hotel.. From your arrival into the 'Secret car cave 😉', to the warm professional welcome and the escort and explanation of room and facilities.. The views are amazing even if you only overlook the complex. It is a short walk from the amazing coastline beach.. well worth a visit especially at sunset. There are a few business on the beach that approach you but they are polite and not pushy in any way. The pool bar is nice and the buffet has a lot of variety.. if you prefer a more peaceful meal either ask to sit in the seating area just outside of the main lounge, closer to the lagoon. You can order from the menu if you dont fancy a full buffet option, or head for the a la carte restaurant. Once the pool bar closes head inside to the well stocked bar where you can either sit in the large and comfortable air-conditioned bar area or take your drink outside. The rooms are spacious and well presented. The departure is just as special as the arrival with a set alone area. We were only there for one night but would definitely go back for a longer stay. Our special thanks to Sansala who dealt with us throughout our short stay.

Thank you so much to Mina, who greeted my mum and me at reception and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. She took the time to talk with us and explain everything so kindly, and it really meant a lot, even came with us t see our room:) She even made a point of finding out what time we were leaving, gave us a hug, and said goodbye — such a lovely personal touch. The buffet food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, with so much choice. All of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The beach, just a few steps away, is where we spent most of our time. It was so relaxing and never crowded — perfect for unwinding. There’s a real sense of calm throughout the hotel, and I will 100% be back next year. I really hope Mina is still working there then 🙂

A beautiful resort, a true work of art that will delight architecture lovers. Located directly on a stunning sandy beach, it features three swimming pools beautifully integrated into the surrounding nature and greenery. The staff are very kind and helpful. The restaurants are of a good standard, although not particularly outstanding. A great place for a family holiday.

This was our second visit to Cinnamon Bentota. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. The food is incredible, the morning buffet is our favorite. the rooms are beautiful and clean, the scenery is stunning. We love it there. A special thanks to Dehami Mina and Prem Samala at the pool bar who made brilliant cocktails, thank you to the service staff who replaced our TV in our room in the blink of an eye, and thank you to Priyantha Da Silva who made every day wonderful by checking on us. Even the general manager Johan and his wife invited us to a free dinner with Italian food as a taste testing evening, it was great!! We also went to a great jewellery store on the premises a wonderful family run business called Ubesiri & Co, we bought some rings and stones. really wonderful people.

We have had the most wonderful time during our stay at Cinnamon Bentota. Our room was clean and spacious.. and had a view of the beach. The food was plentiful and of great quality. The staff have been very attentive looking after our every needs. We intend to return to this wonderful oasis at a future date Thank you for the welcome and especially for taking good care of us. Excellent service all around. Highly recommend Cinnamon Bentota.
