A special treat, Coco Palm Resort provides guests with a hideout amidst a tropical oasis on the private island of Dhuni Kolhu. Transfer by sea plane from Male International Airport and you’ll soon be be surrounded by crystal waters and soft white sand. Thatched villas are positioned on stilts over the lagoon or nestled between palm trees and offer superb facilities in an easy living design. We stayed for 6 days and the location was beautiful, especially the lush vegetation and the turquoise sea. We found the restaurant to be very good with quality cuisine, as was the beach bar. Our room was promptly cleaned with new towels every day. We would like to thank Adeel, who always served us with a smile, and the two bartenders who served us at the beach bar (in front of the arrival pier). We will probably visit again. The island is a little piece of paradise. We had only a short wait for the seaplane, arrived around 15:00, and were taken straight to our room, a stunning lagoon villa. From our terrace we could spot sharks, rays, turtles, and countless fish. The sea is like a swimming pool, and the beach is just stunning. One of the reasons we choose this resort was the great reviews about the food, and they were absolutely right. We tried the buffet and the "dinner under the stars" experience, and both were excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Nalinda for his kindness and for making us discovering the Mint Delight cocktail! We could have skipped the All Inclusive package, since food and alchol in the mini fridge are not included, as well as many drinks at the bar. A part from this, our stay was perfect!

A week in paradise! The hotel is great, villa very comfortable and the cook is delicious (all buffet meals are changing everyday and are delightful each time). Excursions are really amazing and well organized (turtles snorkeling, reef hopping, manta snorkeling, etc.). Last but not least, all staff is awesome, special thanks to Raja, Shaik and Hajiba who were really involved and added so much to our experience. Thank you!

The Coco Palm resort is without doubt one of the best holiday experiences we have had. The beauty and tranquillity of the island is only surpassed by the incredible and abundant sea life around the local reef. While there we saw sharks, stingrays, turtles and fish of every shape and colour imaginable (there were also sightings of manta rays). The island itself is small enough to walk around in 30-45 minutes and is focused on conservation in all aspects of accommodation and amenities. Included on the island is a charity supporting turtle rescue and recuperation (while there we watched a turtle being released after a year’s recuperation and there were a number of hatches from turtle nests). The staff, from the room service to the bars and restaurants, are exceptional. They go out of their way to quickly understand what you like and are always on hand to keep glasses topped up! We had a beach villa on the East of the island which was where the best of the reef is. The room is excellent with a very comfortable bed, plenty of space for clothes, an excellent shower and nice veranda in front to sit on. The bed was made up every morning and turned down in the evening; you can’t fault the accommodation. The food in the restaurants is good with both hot and cold options always available (and vegan curries in the evening). In the interests of fairness, there are a couple of negatives. Coco Palm opts for the ‘Basic AI’. Spirits used in alcoholic drinks are generally pretty poor and the available cocktails are limited. Anything not included in your AI package is very expensive, so we stuck to just the package but you do miss out doing that. Lastly, they have a singer who’s at the beach bar in the evenings. She’s very good but also loud which means that when you go for a nice relaxing, romantic drink to watch the sun going down (stunning sunsets by the way!), you get the singer giving it full welly which can spoil the atmosphere! But even with the negatives, this is an island you will want to return to time and time again. We can’t wait until we can book another break there!

🌴 A Slice of Heaven for Our 25th Anniversary – Worth Every Mile! 🌅 My wife and I are world travelers, and for our 25th wedding anniversary, we scoured the globe for the perfect setting. After years of planning, we decided on Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, and it exceeded every expectation we had — and then some. Being from Phoenix, Arizona, it took us about 36 hours of travel to reach the Maldives, but after spending six unforgettable days on this island paradise, we both agreed we would have traveled 100 hours to get there. From the moment we stepped onto the island, we were met with warm smiles, genuine kindness, and a sense of peace that instantly made us feel at home. The staff greeted us with such joy and gratitude, and even the other guests radiated the same easy happiness that comes from being in such a special place. When we arrived at our villa, we were stunned — not only was it spotless and spacious, but it had been beautifully decorated for our anniversary with palm leaves, flowers, and a “25th” display on the bed. A chilled bottle of wine awaited us by the bedside, setting the tone for the perfect celebration. Our villa was wonderfully private, complete with our own path leading to a secluded stretch of beach and cushioned loungers just for us. The weather was flawless our entire stay — it didn’t rain until the very day we left! The food was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. We tried something new at every meal, and every dish was better than the last. The beach barbecue was a highlight, featuring freshly grilled lobster, prawns, and fish, all you could eat, under the stars. We also enjoyed a sunset cruise with wine, a couples massage, and early morning snorkeling with sea turtles. Because of the jet lag, we found ourselves waking up around 4 a.m. every morning, which turned into one of our favorite routines — watching the sunrise in total tranquility, often joined only by the quiet hum of the island staff starting their day. Evenings were spent watching the sunset from the Lagoon Bar, the perfect way to end each day. Another pleasant surprise — for all the luxury and experiences, the prices were very reasonable, both for the stay and the excursions. When we received our final bill, I was expecting it to be much higher. In short, this trip was truly the experience of a lifetime — peaceful, romantic, and deeply rejuvenating. Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu felt like heaven on earth, and we will cherish these memories forever. Thank you to every member of the Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu team for creating the perfect anniversary getaway.
