Pros- The staff is friendly and helpful. The food court is easy and food is pretty good…mobile orders are easy. The buses were a great way for transportation.. The pool is huge and they do fun activities . The themes on the outside of the buildings are great. Our room was clean. Cons-our preferred room was very small and it was just me and my four-year-old. We ended up not using the Murphy bed because we needed the table that’s attached to it. The bed is high too so not good for littles. We didn’t have a microwave, although there is one in the food court and the mini refrigerator doesn’t cool enough to keep food safetly, It’s mostly for drinks. You can hear the room next to you a little too easily so we just kept the TV on and that helped . The rooms are far from the main lobby, but a nice cast member helped me with my bags and finding our room.

We stayed at Disney’s All‑Star Movies Resort, and overall it was great for the price and value—especially for a Disney property. The resort was fun, clean, and perfect if you’re spending most of your time in the parks. For the cost, it delivered exactly what we expected and more. That said, a little constructive feedback: • Guests should be able to set the A/C to their own comfort level. We had to call maintenance to lower the temperature below 68°, which took extra time. • We also needed to call to have body wash and shampoo refilled. • One dresser drawer wouldn’t stay closed, and the TV remote back wouldn’t stay on, which was a bit inconvenient. None of these were deal-breakers, and the staff was responsive when we reached out. For the value, location, and Disney experience, this resort is still a solid choice. We’d absolutely consider staying here again, especially for budget-friendly trips.

I’m not going to lie I was a little skeptical staying here due to a lot of negative reviews. However, the location is great, it was amazing to see the scenery, the staff was nice. The food court food was pretty good as well. The only thing I would say is the rooms are a little small and might be tight with a larger family but if that’s not something you care about and will be out and about all day anyways then I would say you’re fine. Clean , no bugs , decent for the price .

We had an AMAZING experience for our kids 8th and 5th birthdays! From wishing them a happy birthday while checking in, to it being on the TV in our room, our kids felt SO special especially with the birthday buttons where many people and staff would tell them Happy Birthday. It was a memorable stay and being able to ride the bus for early entry is very convenient. We look forward to a future stay. Thank you for everything! -The Obitz Family

I rarely write reviews about Disney in general as they are very consistent. Me and my wife are season pass holders (from PA) and we are on Disney World property at least once every month. We almost always stay in a Disney resort as we love the experience and consistent service. We were in the Orlando area during the week between Christmas and New Years for a wedding and decided to tack on a few days at one of the Disney resorts. We always love the All-Star resorts for quick stays, so we booked a room at the Movies resort. We have stayed here in the past and had modest expectations. As usual the staff was amazing as was the look and feel of the resort. The food court had lots of options and satisfied our needs. What fell short was the room itself. The word I would use to summarize it, is tired. We were placed into a handicap room, which was fine and we accepted that the room may lack some amenities. What we did not expect is outlets that would not hold a plug, a mattress well beyond its lifespan and walls that desperately needs a coat of paint. The room fell short of Disney standards. We stayed at the All-Star Sports in early December and the difference in the rooms were significant. They had an almost identical design, but the Sport's room was well kept and felt maintained. Hopefully this is just a fluke and Disney will take this feedback and make some quick simple updates. This incident will definitely affect which All Star we stay at in the future.
