Disappointing Experience at Furama Hotel.
I recently stayed at Furama Hotel in KL, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The condition of the room was unacceptable; the furniture was outdated, the bed was lumpy with springs poking through, and the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It’s shocking to see such a lack of upkeep in what’s supposed to be a reputable establishment.
The overall hygiene of the hotel was questionable. The bathroom was particularly concerning; it was not only poorly maintained but downright unpleasant to use. I expected at least basic cleanliness, and this was far below standard.
The staff seemed indifferent to these issues. While I understand that hotels can get busy, basic hospitality and attentiveness should never be compromised. This lack of care left me feeling undervalued as a guest.
To make matters worse, we had to spend additional money to find a better hotel elsewhere. It's incredibly disappointing when a stay not only fails to meet expectations but actively adds stress to the trip.
I strongly urge the management to seriously consider renovations and prioritize customer satisfaction. Until these improvements are made, I cannot recommend Furama Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay in KL.
If I could give it a 0 stars, I would.

This place is in a great spot, with shopping malls and restaurants just around the corner, making it super convenient. It's an older building, but you definitely get your money's worth. The breakfast was tasty too! On the downside, they don’t do daily housekeeping; it’s only when you ask for it. If you need fresh towels, a hair dryer, or toilet paper, be prepared to wait about 30 to 40 minutes for them to bring it.

The hotel rooms are good and the housekeeping services as well as breakfast is very good their staffs especially Francis. T, Sara S, Sam and Sharifah are too cooperative and supportive always for our requests, they have helped us sail through smoothly and efficiently during our 5 days breakfast in Furama Bukit. Thank you once again Team and Much appreciated all the efforts that you put in to serve us. Thank you!

Furama Bukit Bintang offers a convenient and peaceful location near the city center, making it a great choice for travelers wanting easy access to Kuala Lumpur’s attractions. The views from the rooms are decent, considering the urban setting.
The standout feature is the size of the rooms—they are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Room service is satisfactory but could be improved for better convenience.
One notable downside is the lack of a kettle in the rooms. Guests needing hot water must walk to the common area on each floor to use the water dispenser, which might be inconvenient for some.
Overall, Furama Bukit Bintang is a solid option for travelers seeking a clean and spacious room in a prime location, though a few small improvements could enhance the experience further.

Great Location, but Dated Facilities and Mixed Experience
The best aspect of this hotel is its value for money, given its excellent location near the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately, access to the Bukit Bintang shopping stretch is less convenient now due to the new flyover.
While the room was spacious and equipped with useful amenities like an iron, hairdryer, and a shared water fountain, the facilities felt dated—particularly the bathroom finishings, which could use an update to match the hotel's 4-star rating.
The elevator system added some frustration, as many guests seemed unfamiliar with the floor access function, leading to congestion. Additionally, some guests were quite inconsiderate, being noisy and occasionally bringing unpleasant odors.
Service-wise, the reception experience was mixed. The Malay gentleman who welcomed me at check-in could have been friendlier and more welcoming, which would have greatly improved the first impression.
Overall, the location and affordability make it worth considering, but there are areas where the hotel could improve to enhance the guest experience.
