Absolutely such an amazing time! Gabriel, Oswaldo, Axel on the entertainment team was an absolute blast and made the whole trip so memorable! Big Shout out to Hector for being the absolute sweetest and kind human out there, he truly made such an effort to help us out with getting to know the resort and all the events! Oscar is an amazing dancer and performer, he is an absolute entertainer and it’s so much fun to watch him show off his moves and get everyone involved! They all really took the time to get to know us and get us involved in all the events! One of the best entertainment crews out there, highly recommend!

Excellent Hotel with an Outstanding Entertainment Crew I had the pleasure of spending 10 days at this fantastic hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best vacation experiences I’ve ever had. Everything, from the accommodation to the service and entertainment, was simply perfect. A special shout-out goes to the entertainment crew – they are the heart of the hotel! The team brought energy, creativity, and professionalism, making every day a unique experience. The evening shows were top-notch – from captivating dance and musical performances to humorous skits, there was something for everyone. The crew also provided fantastic daytime entertainment, whether through sports activities or other games. They struck the perfect balance between animation and relaxation, ensuring that every guest felt comfortable and catered to. What impressed me the most was how personally the team engaged with the guests – you immediately felt welcome and included.

In all this is not a 4 or 5 star resort. 3 tops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was average at best. There is only one single cafe for the entirety of 4 resorts in a shared “market” area, which, if you “upgrade” to beach access, you are over a kilometre away from those kinds of “amenities”. The room itself was alright, nothing spectacular… here is the huge issue, the mattress was awful. Now I am not expecting some high end mattress, but this was brutal… so bad that I could barely sleep, woke up multiple times and every morning I was stiff. I ended my vacation more tired than when I began… the same would be said for my wife. One plus, as this was not the “high end” or step up resort, it was not incredibly busy… With that being said, the “restaurants” needed reservations and we could only get into one of them, the night before we left… there were a few that did not need reservations and were on a first-come first-serve, but if you were not in line before 6, you would be waiting until after 8 to get in. Beach itself was below expectations with only a small portion of beach truly being something you would be comfortable wading in… and that portion was in front of the high end hotel… leaving the rest of the beach for the “peasants” covered in rocks… To be honest, I would save your money and check out another one… we won’t be coming back to another Iberostar…

4 Stars This hotel is a fantastic getaway with some minor drawbacks. The Pros: • Stunning Beach: The sand is absolutely beautiful, with only a few weeds—nothing compared to other locations. • Expansive Property: The property is enormous, but they’ve made it easy to get around with golf carts that operate like buses. • Never Overcrowded: Despite its size, it never feels too busy, which makes for a relaxing experience. • Great Food: The food here is top-notch. • Amazing Gym: The fitness center is one of the best I’ve seen. They offer excellent classes—highly recommend trying the kickboxing! • Clean Rooms: Rooms are nice and clean, though queen beds instead of doubles would be better for two adults. The Cons: • Overpriced Spa Treatments: Massages at the spa are absurdly expensive at $275 CAD, which feels excessive. • Limited Bars: There aren’t as many bars as resorts like RIU. This can be good or bad depending on your preference—you’ll walk more to get a drink, but there’s less focus on alcohol overall. • Restaurant reservations: There are 2 restaurants you can reserve but all are apparently fully booked for our entire 7 day stay. I don’t believe it. Its most likely due to the difference tiers of guests and memberships you need to pay extra for. Overall: This is a great place for a relaxing vacation. While there are a few minor drawbacks, the stunning beach, great food, and amazing gym make up for it.
