A massive, classic Balinese resort that offers some of the best bang for your buck on the island. The service is true 5-star quality, though the older rooms face some climate challenges. The Room: I visited during the wet season, and the humidity in the standard rooms was very evident (noticeable mold/musty smell). However, the staff was incredibly responsive and moved me immediately. Note: The Club Rooms are much better maintained and worth the upgrade to avoid the "wet" feel of the older wings. Club InterContinental: This is how a premium lounge should be run. It includes butler service, garment pressing, a great cocktail menu, and gourmet small plates. The live piano in the afternoon creates a very upscale atmosphere. I wouldn't stay here without Club access. Dining & Wellness: The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've seen; huge variety and high quality. For wellness, the gym is surprisingly small, but the spa facility is excellent. I highly recommend the 3-hour Balinese treatment in the seafront villa; the floral bath at the end was a highlight. Overall, Great 5-star service at an affordable price point. Just be sure to book a Club room for the best experience and room quality.

I stayed here for the end December 2025 and beginning of 2026. This place is fantastic. If you are a Club member you will love the dedicated area specifically for Club members, the lounge, the pool, cabanas and beach area is fantastic. The service i received during my stay was exceptional, top 3 I have experienced worldwide. The staff were all professional, well manored, attentive and always willing to help. The resort is beautiful and well layed out. The path around the resort is 1km and meanders through well manicured and maintained grounds. The food was fresh and offered plenty of local and international options to fit most dietary needs and preferences. The food quality is consistent and often above average. All in all, it is a great place, esp for club members. It is family friendly and kids seems to enjoy it as well. I stayed in Bali for 3 weeks in 3 different places. The Intercontinental was a real highlight and makes returning to Bali worth looking forward to. My only criticism is, i enjoyed it so much i didnt want to leave the resort.

This has excellent service! And the location, amenities and so on were also excellent. We booked a stay for 3 nights and found ants in the room 2 nights. We complained and they upgraded us to a 2-story suite and gave us free dinner as well!! As soon as we called they sent a pest control guy with equipment up and upon our move to the new room, he treated the old one with some cool bug spray machine. They also were fine with us checking out 2 hours later, because my partner was sick. The breakfast is really tasty, although I would recommend to go early because there are a lot of people between 9.30-10.30 and this makes for little waits for coffee, omelets and the stuff they make upon request. They forgot some orders but this didn’t bother us as we simply reminded them and they solved it directly. The rooms are great, clean, byredo stuff in the toilets, good mini bar and nice views from the balcony. We also loved that we were so close to the beach👌 The only complaints we had: The restaurants are a tad bit expensive, we’re talking like 6 euro for a beer which I find a little much for bali? Also the big pool is a little dirty, especially since we saw the “club pool” that was way cleaner, which made me wonder why they don’t clean the bigger one as nicely. But in general, reeeally good experience, I would definitely recommend, especially for the really nice staff🙏 thank you!

We stayed at the InterContinental Bali Resort for a week, and it was a truly relaxing and satisfying experience from start to finish. The amenities and overall upkeep were top-notch, with staff actively tending to the gardens and keeping the resort spotless throughout the day. Our favourite hangout was the Sunset Bar, where the atmosphere was perfect and the staff were incredibly lovely, hospitable, and friendly. We enjoyed live music every day, from jazz to pop, and danced our hearts off. Our little daughter made so many new friends, both with fellow guests and especially with the wonderful staff. A special thank you to Dinda - our daughter keeps asking to come back just because of her - and also to Indra, Cantika, and Sinta for your exceptional hospitality. Thank you for helping make our stay so memorable. Would we come back? Definitely yes!
