Everything is absolutely the best!
But what made me feel like home is CASSANDRA at the poolside bar.
I asked her to make me a real thick mudslide
Not only did she make it the best
But always knew me by name and made my drink excellent each and every time !!!
She ALWAYS went that extra mile and ALWAYS gave me EXTRA.
CASSANDRA IS AN ASSET to this resort and the most friendliest & welcoming gal I ever met at a resort
She deserves nothing but the best!!
Love her!!
Thank you so much
A very satisfied customer 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Amazing experience! The resort has an amazing variety of food and events. There are so many restaurants to go try of various different cuisines. The buffets are excellent as well. They have many neat shows and events every day, from live music, magic, beach events, water ballet, etc - all are amazing if you're wanting to stay on site and relax!
Heads up Gentlemen, I do recommend packing a pair or two of collard shirts, like a polo, and a pair of jeans or khakis for some of the restaurants. Many do require a collared or long sleeve shirt. But so long as your aren't looking like you're going to the beach they are pretty lax with the rule.
Butler service was definitely worth it, they go above and beyond to make sure you are having an awesome time. They give you a summary of daily events, excellent recommendations for food or activities, take care of your room needs at any time, coordinate room service and food at all hours, and even will do special things such as make a surprise rose pedal bath for your honeymoon.
Special shout out to our butler Owen for his attentiveness every single day and Rohan who covered a shift and went above and beyond as well!

The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is undeniably a stunning hotel with top-tier facilities that are both pristine and beautifully maintained. The architecture, lush surroundings, and the overall ambiance of the resort are truly captivating. Upon arrival, the check-in experience sets a high standard—staff at the front desk were warm, approachable, and eager to assist, which was an encouraging start to our stay.
However, beyond the initial welcome, the service throughout the resort was a stark contrast. The staff at the pool bar appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic, making guests feel as though any request was an inconvenience. This lack of attentiveness and hospitality undermined the otherwise relaxing poolside atmosphere.
A major disappointment was the dining experience. Half the restaurants were closed, and those that were open seemed chaotic, with staff who seemed indifferent at best. Booking a table was frustratingly difficult, and the seating staff conveyed an unwelcome attitude, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. On one occasion, we were directed to dine at a restaurant three hotels away because nothing on-site could accommodate us. Ironically, the staff at that restaurant apologized for the behavior of those at the Grand Rose, expressing their own frustrations about the poor service culture there.
It’s truly disheartening to feel like an unwelcome guest during a trip meant for relaxation and enjoyment. While the property itself is breathtaking, the disappointing service leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall and would advise potential visitors to consider other options if they value a welcoming and customer-focused experience.

From the moment you step foot onto the ground at JOIA Jamaica you are treated with genuine care.
We loved:
* How clean the grounds (beaches, walkways, bathrooms) and accommodations(suite) Staff was in our room multiple times a day and everything was clean, very impressed.
* The lovely staff (Andre, Jessica, Ace, Bubbles, David the organizer of all things entertainment)
* The attention to detail, the check ins and the drink service on the beach, at the bars and little surprises in our rooms
* Themed food stations and the variety of options
* The entertainment- the Motown show was by far our favorite, but enjoyed all the enthusiasm and interactions with the staff
* Blue Hole and Dunn's River trip (an excursion offered by a third party)
* Jerk chicken on the beach and the food at the Gala event was very good (stone fired pizza)
* Hibachi- very good food, very entertaining cooks
* The drinks - never had a bad one our entire trip; top shelf liquor and delicious concoctions
* The lobby bar - get the smooth espresso martini!
* The desserts, amazing pastry chef!
We liked:
* The food, not five star restaurant quality but many options, open all hours, and room service was always an option
* Coffee shop available with pastries and drinks
* The ability to walk the other two resorts and leverage their dining options (and of course the ice cream shoppe)
* The spa; pools and massages were great
We wanted:
* Some guests noted they could access information on WhatsApp, not sure if that's just for the premium members but the app left us wanting a little more information about events and happenings
* Pools to be open a bit later at night; some days they were a bit cooler than we'd like. Hot tub was not warm enough to enjoy; and when it was it was very full.
* Ability to walk the beach in the evening; this would have been nice, but understand for safety reasons.
* Other options for the mini bar or some snacks in the room (they did provide a jar of peanuts and potato chips, but even if there was an add on, we would have paid more for a snack basket in the room)
All in all, we absolutely loved our trip. We were very well taken care of, and we will certainly return. Thank you to everyone who made our trip a memorable one.

Had a great time here for our one week getaway. Staffs were really courteous and helpful. The all inclusive package made everything so smooth, food and drinks were readily available throughout the day and night. One of the best attractions we got to do was go to the cat sanctuary across the street. The road there might not be very direct but you can ask the hotel to drive you up on a gold cart. They do a wonderful job there raising cats and adopting them out. Please consider visiting and donating.
