This trip was for our 25th anniversary, so we decided to splurge a little. We had an ocean view suite with butler service. I can’t say enough about the service! Our butler’s (Berris, Christopher, Omar & Devon) were absolutely the best!!! We never had to figure anything out. They were always there to assist us in anyway. They were so professional, friendly, knowledgeable and so much more! On our anniversary Omar (our afternoon butler) escorted us to our private dinner on the beach. He decorated our table, took some amazing pictures of us and decorated our room!!! Because of their service and the rest of the staff we will be back next year and hopefully can book the same room location with the same butler’s 💕. I highly recommend Montego Bay Jamaica JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar. I want to say the professional greetings and service from our concierge’s Suttonie, Crystal & Tanya when we arrived was exceptional. These ladies if you ever visit this hotel they will make you stay even more enjoyable. Until we meet again ONE LOVE!!

I stayed at Jiao Iberostar for a week to celebrate my sister's birthday during our first trip to Jamaica. The location itself is beautiful .The pools, beach, and variety of activities on the resort kept us entertained throughout the stay. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the staff, especially some of the female staff members. We experienced rude behavior and felt racially profiled during our stay. It was very noticeable that white guests were treated with more respect, received quicker service, and were given far more attention than we were. What made this even more disappointing is that I have previously stayed at Iberostar in Mexico, where the experience was absolutely breathtaking. The staff there treated us like queens everyone was friendly, kind, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond. Because of that experience, I expected the same level of hospitality in Jamaica, which is why I chose this resort in the first place. It's truly a shame to feel racially profiled by our own people while trying to enjoy a special family vacation. During checkout, a member of the guest services team asked us to leave a review of the property, and we agreed. She then asked to see my phone so she could show me where to leave the review, but instead she began writing a 5-star review herself. She said, “I want to make sure you review us.” our stay had not been great at all. The experience made me question how many of the 5-star reviews were actually written by staff members rather than guests.

The people are fantastic. Our butlers (Rohan, Ohrain, Glen, Devon and Rennardo) were so helpful and loved their little check ins with us. Housekeeping was always on time and did a great job, including the little chocolates at turn down service. The bar staff were knowledgeable and gave great service. The food was incredible. By far the best food we’ve ever had on a resort. Definitely have the jerk plate and the spring rolls at the Jamaican a la carte, we went back again the next night. Even the maintenance crews doing repairs after the hurricane were friendly. I have a lot more positive stuff to say (no negatives) but, I’m running out of space. Thanks JOIA for the amazing job.

Donavan took such good care of us at the beach. Pleasant attitude and made us truly feel welcomed! Alain and Andre were our butler's and we would swear they have clones. They found us all over the property with drinks food, trip advice. It was a true joy to be able to relax and let them take care of us. I do not think anyone could do it better! Because of the service vibes and over relaxing atmosphere we already plan to return in January! One small note I wish the old plates and drinks in the hallway were cleaned faster. Small compliant but noticeable

Our trip was everything we needed from we arrived. The grounds are clean, we loved the food, room and the staff. Everyone we met were friendly and nice. Special shout out to our concierge Kenisha who checked on us daily, provided excellent service and always greeting us with a warm smile. Our butler Rohan was also amazing, Lloyd from the pool bar,Ann-Marie from housekeeping and everyone else. Will definitely return.
