I stayed here for 6 days at the end of the season in September. We ate at all the restaurants that were open, visited both the pools as well as ocean, and had many interactions with staff.
The concierge/staff: Very nice and very friendly, they are more than happy to help you out with anything as well as provide excellent service. Yes there is a language barrier if you only speak English (I only speak English myself) but there is google translate if you need it. I don’t know why everybody complains about the barrier, if you work with them you can handle all your needs. Not all countries have English as a strong second language.
Restaurants: Food and drinks are going to cost you some money, every Kempinski costs a bit more than most other hotels. So you should always look at prices before you visit. But all the food was very worth it. Maybe only a few items that were over priced but tbh I could spot them very easily. Very friendly and super nice as well. Food was all excellent, sometimes it takes a little longer sometimes it is very fast, either way I have no complaints. Same thing as with staff, just be patient and communicate with them as best as possible and you can get everything you need with no issues.
Make sure to make your reservations at the restaurants ahead of time to ensure the proper dining experience. During season I’m sure it gets busy but at end of season there is less staff so you have to remember they can only handle so much volume per table. So plan accordingly.
VEAL CHOPS at Mammadrou are absolutely amazing and you should not leave without trying them!!!
Management: All my interactions with them as I came across them I say the same, very nice and very friendly. Happy to have you there and answer any questions you have if necessary
Pools/Beach: Very calming and quiet, if you need to get to the beach, other pool, or Barbarossa restaurant which is on the beach, you can take a Buggy from the hotel entrance. It takes very little time to get there and it is very efficient. Never waiting for more than a minute or two.

This hotel is very nice but you can see it is getting a bit old.
Not very easy to move around with the baby stroller, a lot of stairs and lifts etc.
Off season a lot of food places are closed and there is no entertainment. Shortage of staff. Seems like hotel management failed to plan well for the number of guests - but how is it possible if rooms are booked in advance?
The restaurants which were open had great food options.
Beach is fantastic.
Overall I would recommend the stay here but would suggest that the team pays more attention to the off season period.

Beautiful location, nice private secluded beach with calm waters.
Super attentive staff that go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.
They even arranged flowers and balloons to celebrate a birthday.
Food choices are vast and worth the money.

Despite being marketed as a five-star establishment, this hotel falls drastically short in service, cleanliness, and comfort. The rooms were poorly maintained, with dirty linens and unclean bathrooms, making for an uncomfortable stay. The service if any of the staff spoke English would have been 1% better, but unfortunately with their lack of understanding they are unresponsive and unhelpful staff that failed to address any issues. The only redeeming features were the helpful and knowledgeable concierge and the delicious Adana kebab served at the hotel restaurant. However, these two positives are not enough to compensate for the overall dreadful experience. This hotel deserves less than one star and is in desperate need of an update bcz it is very outdated

We had a total blast staying down here. We normally don’t stay at big resorts so this was a change for us. Great service, impressive sized property. Breakfast was a real show! If you don’t have a car get the half board option. So much to do onsite especially if you have children. I really enjoyed the yoga sessions. Love to return one day. Could easily spend another week cooling out down here. 2nd largest spa in Europe!
