since the reviews weren't the best, we were a little worried. But the Emerald hotel - especially the new part is fantastic. after 6 weeks in Thailand it was our last stop and it was a unique end to the holidays. the rooms are beautiful and clean, the breakfast has a fantastic selection. the pools and children's world were excellent. I recommend it with all ten.

Family of 6, villa 10 and 14. Amazing houses, amazing cleaning, amazing view to the ocean. Delicious breakfast, sometimes a little bit too many people - depending on time while eating breakfast. Always friendly and helpful staff. Nearby the hotel everything you need, restaurant, supermarket, seven eleven and transfer where ever you want to go.

I am so, SO grateful to have stayed at such a beautiful resort with staff that made the stay not only memorable, but over-the-top accommodating. I came in very early from Phuket, yet they allowed me to not only just check-in my bags, but use the amenities beforehand. Later, when I needed to use the restroom and needed some AC for reprieve from the sun, they let me check-in early and were not rude and, in fact, suggested and welcomed it. When I mentioned needing vinegar for my jellyfish stings (acquired NOT at their resort, but in Phuket the day before) they provided their staff nurse, who was absolutely lovely, telling stories of her daughter and being so personable and helpful. She not only cleaned my stings, but also gave me extra vinegar for later, as well as a tube of anti-itch steroid medicine. This was all on their dollar, even without it being their responsibility in the slightest, and they were so wonderfully kind and accommodating. Kuhn Aom, the assistant front desk manager, personally walked with me to see the nurse while also waiting for me, in order to also send me to my room. She was so joyful, kind and complimentary, welcoming me with a warm smile, a helpful heart, and kind words. Thank you so very much for taking care of me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful place to stay, a great beach front location, and staff who truly go above and beyond! Thank you!!!

A really wonderful place to stay. I love the way they have taken environment into consideration. The hotel video is brilliant I watched it all a few times as it explained everything around the hotel. I highly recommend satisfying here if you have the choice. One I saw and did was get bed and breakfast as there are plenty of local restaurants in short walking distance. Not just the road but along the beach too

Beautiful hotel directly at the beach, with a beautiful hotel area covered in trees, flowers and a big pond right in the midst of it all. Options to either rent a hotel room or small villas directly at the beach (we chose the villa). The villas have a small porch, and indoor bathtub and shower as well as an outdoor shower! Perfect for two persons, but works completely fine if you are three. It's a big hotel, but not noticeable crowded, neither on the beach nor around the pool. There is also a restaurant directly on the beach (called Wai Wai) as well as a cozy bar (called Taonga Bar), where you can either sit in a swing around the bar or dit at a table overlooking the sea. Daily activities for kids and teenagers/adults in the Kids Club. If you need laundry service, I'd recommend one of two available shops just outside the hotel, they charge only 80 Baht/kg, ready for pickup the day after at 18:00, where the hotels service is more pricey. Friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel in general. Highly recommend!
