Our 3 night stay here surpassed all expectations I had. Fantastic resort and such wonderful hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay here for the following reasons:
1. Rooms are spacious, designed so well, extremely comfortable, and so well set up. Also the little details here - the towels were soft and smelled divine, the soaps and lotions provided were of wonderful quality, the robes were perfect, the bathtub was a good size, the bed & pillows were ridiculously comfortable. The shower was wonderful. I loved the room!
2. Breakfast is included and it’s everything you could want in a breakfast - 10/10
3. Beach is lovey, great sunset view. A little rocky in some parts, but minimal gripe here.
4. There are little markets, restaurants, and taxi services down the road for ultimate convenience.
5. The people who staff the resort are gracious and kind - nothing but lovely things to say regarding everyone we interacted with.
6. They have a shuttle going to the city market every other day - I loved this market! Super chill without the stress and chaos of Bangkok markets.
7. The pool & its design, being so vast and elongated, allowed for more privacy despite the amount of people at the resort.
Food: As previously mentioned, breakfast is great here. I was pleasantly surprised at the Indian cuisine options offered at the buffet restaurant- my Indian partner very much enjoyed the Indian food here. In terms of other foods, if you’re looking for western style food, the resort delivers well here, but it is pricey compared to places outside the hotel (to be expected & this if you’re not doing the all-inclusive options). I personally wanted to stick with Thai food and found amazing restaurants that were a 15 min taxi away. The buffet does have some Asian options as well for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great salad and fruit selection!
The weekend we visited they had a wedding taking place that took over parts of the resort over 3-4 days. It was not as disruptive as anticipated, but if my room was on the side of the resort that was being closed for wedding activities, I might have felt differently.

Just back from a 3-day stay with our toddler (2) and 7-year-old. What a find! September rates were incredibly reasonable, and the resort was wonderfully peaceful - sometimes felt like we had the pools to ourselves!
The room setup was perfect for families - two actual bedrooms meant no tiptoeing around after kids' bedtime. Our 7-year-old couldn't get enough of the game room (super clean and well-maintained), while the little one loved splashing in the kids' pool.
The staff were extra attentive with so few guests around. The Pizzeria was our go-to (perfect for picky eaters), but we also enjoyed a surprisingly relaxed dinner at Beach Grill - with so few diners, the staff had time to entertain our toddler while we actually finished a hot meal!
Only minor quibble: no bathtub in the room, but the shower worked fine. Fantastic value for what you get.

The hotel has a lot of activities arranged for guests and the check-in staff was really friendly. Room was spacious, pool staff were nice. However the room, kids club and the some parts of the lobby smell horrible. Understand it’s a beachfront property but still a lot of things need to be fixed.
At breakfast, we asked for baby utensils and they were sticky and smelly. My son used the fork before I realized and when the staff came to take the plates away, I saw her put the set back on their pantry instead of taking them back for cleaning together with the other dirty plates (because they looked clean). I told her they’ve been used, she double checked and put it back again at the clean utensils area! This might explain why the set came sticky and smelly…………

Stayed for 10 nights with our 4-year old child. Amazing property, very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the idea of kid's corner during breakfast - you can finish your morning coffee in peace while your kid is busy with some crafts. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily, cleaning personnel always made sure we had sufficient supply of drinking water. Good set of activities for both adults and children.
The only hiccup we had was during the checkout process when our invoice somehow had two charges of approx. 1200 baht in total that hadn't been made by us (drinks at the beach bar). Once I pointed out that those weren't mine, the checkout employee looked through all my signed receipts and, not having found those charges among the receipts, reprinted the invoice correctly. So the situation got resolved smoothly.

We are currently staying at Le Meridien Khao Lak, and while we really like the hotel itself, the service has been quite disappointing. The location is beautiful, and the facilities have great potential, but the restaurant service needs serious improvement.
There are several issues we have encountered repeatedly:
• Our food often arrives before our drinks, which feels unorganized.
• Even though we specifically ask for our salad to be served with the main course, it always comes first. We remind the staff every time, but nothing changes.
• Sometimes we are seated at a table and then left waiting for 10 minutes before anyone comes. In the end, we have to call someone ourselves to take our order.
These service issues are frustrating, especially for a hotel of this standard. If the staff were better trained and more attentive, this place could be truly outstanding. We hope management takes action to improve the overall dining experience.
