I absolutely loved this hotel! It’s easily one of my favorites I’ve ever stayed at. Our room was clean, beautiful and sooo spacious. We had not one but TWO balconies. The view was amazing. The way the rooms are set up kind of makes you feel like you are the only ones in the resort which made for such a refreshing experience! We essentially had this entire pool to ourselves. The staff was truly amazing and always smiling and attentive to our needs. The only “downside” is that it is quite hilly so you have to take the free resort shuttle pretty much everywhere or walk up/down the hills but honestly it just feels like part of the experience and makes for good exercise! Oh, and the resort food was DELICIOUS. Like seriously everything I ate was so good. Just an overall amazing experience. 1000% recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were stunning, well-maintained, and the private pool with its own entrance added a unique and luxurious touch. The service was exceptional, making the experience even more enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to staying here again.
That said, there’s room for improvement. While the buffet breakfast offered a vast variety, some of the local Thai dishes could use a little more refinement - could be a lot tastier. Also, the coffee was quite disappointing—this is definitely an area that needs attention.
Overall, a wonderful stay with minor tweaks needed to make it perfect!

Absolutely amazing place, couldn’t recommend it more. The rooms could use a little refresh and some minor maintenance but it doesn’t matter so much as the hotel is just fabulous.
Location was great for me - on the side, calm spot, but close to shops, restaurants and the beach. I love to walk and was enjoying my daily walks from and to the hotel.
Room - Sea Pearl Private Pool Access - was great overall, a bit of maintenance and small refresh would be nice though. Housekeeping staff was doing a great job. I highly recommend updating lower tier rooms to this one - the private space outside and access to a secluded pool was an amazing option.

Stayed here for 3 nights as our first stop in Thailand and I don’t think any of our other hotels will top this one.
The layout and aesthetic of the resort is brilliant. The photos do not do the resort or the rooms justice. Everything was kept pristine, cannot fault anything about the rooms.
We only ate breakfast in the main restaurant, so cannot comment on the lunches or dinners, but the quality and range of food was also 5 star worthy. The food and drinks from the pool bars were also top tier.
From check-in to check-out, the staff were always friendly and attentive. Again, definitely 5 star service.
The resort is a short 5-10 minute walk down a slight hill to Karon beach and the main Karon strip. Taxis to Patong were only 450 Baht (Cheaper for anywhere closer to the resort)
Would 100% recommend.

We stayed at Mandarava for 8 nights at the beginning of February and our stay was truly wonderful. What a fantastic hotel to spend a week at after 4 busy days in Singapore. We were welcomed with open arms and big smiles. The staff throughout the hotel from reception, to house keeping, restaurant and the spa were amazing and what a great customer experience they strive for. We stayed in a pool access room, the room was bigger than we expected and all the room amenities were to a great standard, it was extremely clean and our pool access made our trip just that little bit more special. The hotel itself offers quite a range of food choices at the restaurants and pool bars and during our stay I think there were 3 nights that they had some form of event or entertainment on in the evenings which was nice if you had a busy day and didn't want to leave the resort. A special mention to the morning breakfast, it was superb, one of the best hotel breakfasts iv had. The selection was huge, you could have anything you could think of, it was always fresh and the staff were always restocking so no matter what time you came there was always enough. We also enjoyed treatments at the spa, which were excellent, a great spa, lots of treatment choices and also special offers, again the ladies who did our treatments were so professional and friendly and just really couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is in easy reach of the Karon bay town and beach and the hotel puts in a shuttle bus as the area is quite hilly. Just at the bottom of the road where the hotel is, is also a selection of 4 restaurants and a convenience store if you didn't want to go into the town area. We had the absolute best stay and we really hope in the future we will be able to come back! Thank you all at Mandarava!
