What an amazing stay! Right near Karon beach is this gorgeous resort which is nestled into what feels like a lush oasis. Be warned, there is lots of steps and steep inclines to get to the rooms/facilities but they do offer a shuttle service around the resort. We stayed for 5 nights and loved every moment. We enjoyed laying by the pool and using the swim up bars. The staff were all very warm and helpful. We booked a private pool access room. While there was a gate that you could shut to your own rooms pool area, you could still see around the gate-not super private. Overall a great experience!

We visited Mandarava Hotel with our two daughters and stayed in two rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Karon area. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Karon, about 15 minutes away from the main road. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and have two large windows which add a lot to the ambiance. The rooms are spread over a hill, and there are five cozy pools located between them. The lobby is very inviting with many books, and there are both a nice game room and a kids' play area with a pool table, ping pong, and foosball that we used many time. The environment at the hotel was very relaxed. The breakfast buffet is generous. On one of the nights, we stayed in the hotel for dinner and enjoyed the food and the saxophone music. As we were less connected to the Karon area, the fact that the hotel was not near the main attractions contributed to our stay, and most of our visits were through taking a taxi to other areas.

Excellent stay at Mandarava Resort! The highlight of the resort has to be the amazing pools, each with its own unique charm. There are plenty of pool bars around, which made it easy to grab a drink and relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The resort has two restaurants. While the cuisine wasn’t the absolute best I’ve ever had, it was sufficient for a pleasant dining experience. The location of the resort is excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions and the beach. The rooms are nice and modern. Overall, a fantastic place to stay!

Our stay at Mandarava was truly unforgettable. Although the location is somewhat distant from the airport, the breathtaking views make it well worth the journey. The resort is exceptionally well-equipped, offering plenty of activities, including access to over five different swimming pools and a fitness center. Additionally, they provide a convenient shuttle service to the beach throughout the day. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here—it's a fantastic value!

Truly enjoyed our time at this resort. The best thing about being here is the service, especially those who take you around the resort in their buggy / shuttle service with an easy request.The staff was always checking in on you, especially when you had tours or taxis booked. This was super appreciated throughout. The rooms are super spacious, clean and quite private. They have all the facilities needed and feels like a nice break away. We also had breakfast everyday, it had a wide range of things available and was set out quite cleanly. The only downfall is that it is quite far away from the beach, you will have to walk 10-15 minutes. But this wasn't an issue for us, and you could easily get a taxi or bike around. They offer a shuttle service 4 times a day. The only improvement would be to add a few more times, and perhaps have it also go down to the main area of Karon where the restaurants are at! We can't wait to stay here again!
