Avoid at All Costs. A Health Hazard Masquerading as a Hotel This was, without exaggeration, one of the most appalling hotel experiences I have ever endured. The promotional photos are utterly misleading. Yes, the pool and rooms look nice, but that illusion is shattered the moment you arrive. There is no welcome, no guidance, no information—just a dismissive wave toward your room and the expectation you'll figure everything out yourself. The food is not just bad; it is potentially dangerous. We are talking borderline salmonella risk. Flies swarmed over uncovered fruit and cakes, which staff made zero effort to protect or remove. It is a buffet of bacterial roulette. Sanitation is nonexistent. We walked into our bathroom to find excrement left in the toilet for hours, accompanied by a stench that could knock you backwards. This was not a one-off incident—it spoke volumes about the management’s complete neglect of basic hygiene. While the bar staff were polite, the drinks were shocking. The local gin was so watered down it was undrinkable, and even a single glass left me nauseous. It was clear corners were being cut at the expense of guests' health. Health and safety is a joke here. There were literal holes in the decking, perfect for breaking an ankle, and slippery pools of water at the bottom of ramps turned walkways into hazardous traps. Combined with the bathroom filth, the entire facility felt like a lawsuit waiting to happen. We raised these concerns with a very kind and understanding customer liaison representative, but the real issue lies with management. There is no accountability, no urgency, and absolutely no intention of resolving guest complaints. Instead, we were offered fruit as some kind of pathetic consolation, which felt like a fitting metaphor for the rotten state of this hotel. Save yourself the money and the risk. Stay elsewhere.

First time in Turkey, loved it. Nice hotel, it's an adults-only hotel I think that's why the pool doesn't have a shallow end. Lovely friendly very helpful staff, nice facilities nice food, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to buy cheap clothes but haggle with them you get a good deal in the end. Overall a very nice hotel

Came home 20 Sept after 10 wonderful days at Marti. I am surprised at some of the reviews I found it to be set in a beautiful position by the sea. There was plenty of choice in food if you are willing to try new things… why only want typical English food when you are in Turkey. Our room was clean and tidy with good air conditioning the cleaner was warm and friendly and the view from the balcony spectacular. The pool area, gardens and private beach were well maintained and ideal to relax and soak up the sun. Reception staff were helpful, bar staff efficient and friendly. To be fair the entertainment wasn’t to my taste but other holiday makers enjoyed it. I would highly recommend

I spent a week in Marti la Perla in October. The nearby sea and beach are great. The hotel itself looks good, however the cleaning needs to be improved. The staff is ... not involved at all, especially the young man working in the pub in the garden - he was unpleasant and arrogant. Talking about the pub... the drinks that were served were totally tasteless.

A hudge let down. We came here as a group of 8 (four couples). I never booked it. The hotel is clean enough but the food is horrendous. The entrainment staff during the day are great but the same staff do the evening entertainment which is boring and not put together professionally. Management please hire in professional people for evening entertainment as it's boring. The bar doesn't have enough staff working to serve multiple guests, as making cocktails takes a long time. Management, if you're reading this employee, more staff at the pool bar during busy times as the wait time for a drink is ridiculous. The food is the worst part, I've been to six hotels in Turkey, and this is the worst for food. It's the same junk every day with no thought into presentation or anything. Not being able to bring other food into the burger bar is retarded as my wife doesn't eat burgers. Equally not being able to eat the burger outside of the burger area is also retarded. Management, please review this rule its truely pointless. The rooms are fine, very dated and basic but that doesn't bother me however it had no ironing facility and the fridge turns off when you leave the room so it's pointless really as your almost never in your room. The entrainment staff are great, but the pool barmen are miserable, and asking them for a cocktail somehow upsets them which is weird. When you arrive at the reception, they ask if you have any dietary requirements or intolerances, which is pointless because they absolutely don't change, cater, or even care. Seems like a tick in the box question with no follow through when you arrive. The major upside is the location, on the beach. I will 100% not be returning to this hotel which is a shame. ***Update as of 24th August **** They hired some semi-professional dancers for an entire 30 minutes at 21:30. Now just background music for the rest of the night 😂 Management go to the Aqua hotel next door and look at their evening entertainment.
