Very friendly staff. Nice location overall. Resort nicely arranged. Room was nice, big and very welcoming. Beach was sort of private, so not many people from other places. Spa was amazing. The Thai restaurant serves amazing food! Overall, all infrastructure and the rooms are quite old already. Still old TVs with blurry pictures. It would need some refurbishment now and then. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect a little more nowadays Nevertheless, great stay there for a few days.

Great place to chill by the pool & read a book or listen to podcasts. Great breakfast restaurant. Very friendly staff. Can't do enough for you & very welcoming. Regular free shuttle bus to the main shopping location from the resort. Will go again. Kudos to Kevin who seems to make everything run smoothly. Great person.

Great resort. Garden and the green lush surroundings are stunning. Different rooms and nice restaurant. It is situated in a quite place but only a few minutes from the nice beaches and tourist attractions. Spa is also a real gem. One of the best off the island. We hired a scooter from the lobby to be free to move.

Enjoyed 10 days here in October 23. Staff are friendly, location superb. The site itself is lovely. It’s not too big, and feels quite private and the individual villas are nice. Unfortunately the first villa we had been offered had a broken swimming pool and we had to request to be moved (as they couldn’t fix it). The new villa however was out of this world and even better than the first one! We particularly loved the breakfast overlooking the sea and they organised a very reliable babysitting service for us. We would return if we come back to Koh Samui.

Second day here at Melati We are in the family pool villa , it’s nice and spacious, however the sofa bed in the living room converted for the kids is uncomfortable and full of flies in the villa! At the happy hour by the pool at 12pm there are two many rules of dos and and the server wasn’t very hospitable rather non friendly and cold. Beach is lovely and clean Food is average , could be better So far everything is great except pool bar service.
