We stayed at MGM Muthu in December and overall had a good experience. The location is great, and the area was very quiet at that time of year. We already expected that many places nearby would be closed in December, so it wasn’t a surprise for us. For a family of 4, we had an apartment with two bedrooms and two baths, very spacious and relaxing. The weather was still nice, and the food was decent. It wasn’t the best all-inclusive we’ve had, but it was absolutely fine and we always found something to eat. The only downside was that the non-alcoholic drink options felt a bit limited, but it was still okay overall. A special mention to the grill and Chinese restaurant — it was very nice, and the service really stood out. Chetan and Jyoti took great care of us and made the experience better with their attention and friendliness.

Our stay at Muthu Clube Praia da Oura was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect, the service, the cleanliness, the spacious room, and the beautiful bathroom. The all inclusive service offered great food and beverages, and all the facilities were excellent, from the sauna, pool, private jacuzzi, and gym to the relaxing massages (booked separately). The hotel is literally right in front of the beach, which made the experience even better. I couldn’t have chosen a better place! The staff, especially the receptionists, were always kind and helpful. I highly recommend it for friends, families, and couples. I went with my girlfriend, and we absolutely loved it!

Zakier and Madhav were excellent, service was amazing, never let our wine glasses be empty and were really observant and quick with our food. Food was brilliant and the meat and vegetables were seasoned to perfection. Can not fault the food or the service at all. Very impressed! House wine was really good very smooth and easy to drink!

Overall, the Hotel is lovely. Very clean and spacious. Check in was very late - 5pm and checkout very early 10am. However, we could use the facilities in the hotel on our arrival and departure days when we didn't have a room. 100 euro deposit paid on arrival and returned on departure, not clear why as there was no room inspection required to get the deposit returned. The food a bit hit and miss. All inclusive options not great, limited for time of year being off peak when we went, there were only a few options open Chinese, Mexican and piri piri. Those have booking rules, you can only book up to 4pm the day before, yet when we arrived for Chinese booking, the place was mostly empty so it wasn't clear why we had to reserve a table? Not a great variety on the menu, starter and dessert was just set and then portion size was small for main. However, the staff in the Chinese were lovely, particularly Chetan. Buffet is fine very much like any other hotel buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both C and D blocks seemed to have the better locations. K BLOCK was far away from reception, buffet and bar. Overall I would stay again, it would be better whilst in season.

Ignore any bad review as we were sceptical but this holiday has been amazing the staff are nothing but friendly and happy, waiting on you hand and foot topping up drink and fast food service at there many lovely restaurants. Chetan gets a special mention as he has been so amazing serving us daily giving our 1 year old cake and making life so easy and lovely, always happy and a pleasure.
