This resort is located an hour’s speedboat ride from Malé, the capital city of the Maldives. It offers stunning ocean and beach villas with numerous amenities, as well as a variety of restaurants and bars. The food is excellent, with a wide selection to suit all tastes. The picturesque reef is teeming with colorful coral, fish, and even turtles, making it ideal for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. I had an unforgettable experience and would love to return!

Our 5 night honeymoon at Helengeli was absolutely fantastic😍😍😍The food was delicious and varied. The friendly welcome from the staff made us feel at home and the diving was very enjoyable. Amazing experience! The staff is very helpful and kind, they clean the room everyday! The food is very good and there are a lot of local dishes. From time to time there is a lack of vegetables varieties. The marine life is amazing and colorful. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend!

Our Unforgettable Family Vacation at Oblu Helengeli, Maldives Our recent trip to Oblu Helengeli was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles that made us feel truly welcome. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay at our was perfect, and their constant cheerfulness which we have not seen like in any other resort we have been to so far has added a special touch to our vacation . A special mention goes to Shau and Salam whose welcoming demeanour from the start set the tone for a fantastic trip. The culinary experience was exceptional, with chefs James and Ranjat crafting delightful meals and checking on us and other tables regularly to ensure everything was to our liking. The daily fresh Naan by Snud was a treat! The highlight of our dining experience was a memorable birthday celebration, complete with incredible lobster dishes prepared by the chefs and a beautifully decorated table by Anna. The house reef was an underwater paradise, teeming with vibrant coral and marine life, including blacktip sharks , GTs and parrotfish. Our snorkeling adventures with Blue were unforgettable, as he made the experience safe, easy, and exciting. Exploring other reefs with turtles , nurse sharks, GTs, and rays took the experience to another level. Bing Bing and Nick were instrumental in organising these excursions, and they even arranged a last-minute night fishing trip, where Blue and Luca helped our daughter catch her first fish hand lining !!!! a thrilling experience for our family! The bar area provided the perfect setting for relaxation, with its cozy hammocks and breathtaking sunsets. Haikal stood out for his hospitality, ensuring we were always entertained and comfortable. Housekeeping was exceptional, especially since we were traveling with a little one. Anuraj’s daily bed decorations added a delightful surprise to our room, while Shahin and Rishi kept everything spotless and welcoming. The spa was a haven of relaxation, with Lia and Rose tailoring their massages to our needs, leaving us rejuvenated and stress-free. In the restaurant, the attentive team, including Arsim, Nash, Anouf, and Subhan, ensured we were always well taken care of. Subhan’s creativity in encouraging us to capture slow-motion videos added a fun and memorable twist to our stay. We are certain we’ve missed mentioning many other wonderful staff members, but this only highlights how every individual at Oblu Helengeli contributed to making our stay extraordinary. We saw Alain the GM checking on his staff and guests regularly which reflects the great management this place has . He offered us a ride in one of the shuttles when it was bucketing down rain not realising we were a crazy family wanting to walk in the rain as we found it truly amazing . For families, couples, or anyone looking for a magical getaway, Oblu Helengeli is a destination we wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so special -from the Shakokani family Majeed , Mimi , Youmi , Adool and baby Yasmeen .

I am disappointed with my vacation and rest. The worst experience in my life is now connected with these hotels. Terrible vacation. Beach houses are located too close to each other. Vacationers are on top of each other. The cuisine is terrible and ordinary from a cheap restaurant. The beaches are terrible and unkempt. Never book this hotel as your vacation will be ruined. The rooms are also not thought out and located close to each other. The pool is small. There are practically no carols.
