The resort is very beautiful we love the wildlife and the jungle fill in every twist and turn that you go you never know what you will encounter. We loved our rooms location being oceanfront very beautiful scenery everyday. Our room was kind of small and after 12 days you kind of are ready for more room. The Royal level service is outstanding and the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The Royal level restaurant manager Pamela went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the staff Jesus ambrosia Charlie and lever all were outstanding as well. The chef Henry and Rosa prepared delicious dishes, and Sara from the bar did it outstanding job of keeping our drinks coming.

Monica Ramos at the Oriental restaurant was Amazing! She was extremely attentive and polite and the food was delicious 😋 The resort is definitely more of a family atmosphere. Beautiful views but a lot of walking. The people that work here are very friendly with exception of a few here and there. But they are all hard workers! We stayed at the Royal and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Exclusive, quite and absolutely beautiful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the BEST experience in Mexico, and a huge part of that was thanks to Otilio, our incredible server! He was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. His service truly elevated our entire stay. The views were breathtaking, and I spent most of my time relaxing in the serene adults-only saltwater pool (seriously, it’s a dream). Everything about this place feels like a hidden gem, especially the way it’s surrounded by untouched nature—it’s peaceful, beautifully preserved, and unlike anywhere else I’ve been. Can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

I wanted to share feedback regarding our recent stay at Xcaret at Occidental, as the experience fell short of our expectations in several ways. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that customer service was not a priority. Rather than focusing on guest satisfaction, much of the attention seemed directed toward getting us to attend sales presentations, offering “free breakfasts” as an incentive. While some staff members were kind and helpful, others were noticeably rude and dismissive, which left a lasting negative impression. There were also specific incidents that highlighted poor service and management: • Transportation within the resort: The property is quite large and relies on golf carts for transport. However, many of these carts are reserved exclusively for members. Even when the drivers were idle and not assisting anyone, we were made to wait without explanation. While we understand there are rules, a more polite and respectful tone would have made a big difference. • Snack bar near the family pool: The restaurant next to the family pool enforces a strict dress code, which is understandable. However, the way it’s enforced is unwelcoming — women in swimwear are told they cannot enter unless completely covered and completely dry. The captain of the servers in particular was very arrogant on her approach, making what should be a simple policy feel like a confrontation. We chose Xcaret Occidental for its reputation, but sadly, our experience did not reflect the high standards we anticipated. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as there is a lot of potential being overshadowed by poor service and a lack of courtesy from certain staff members.

Our stay at the resort was pretty great all around! The grounds are very well kept, the rooms were always clean and the staff everywhere we went were so friendly. We stayed in the Royal Level, which is a valuable upgrade. The Royal Restaurant was by far the best food that we ate the entire vacation. Pamolu, Ambrosio, Carlos, Francisco & Leyver were great servers all day long, from room service to the restaurant! Moses was one of the coolest guys around the resort. Very welcoming and friendly. He’d always make a point to say hi to me on my daily runs!
