What a gem! We had a great experience here. The rooms are small, but it is New York City. I’ve stayed in many rooms similar in size throughout Europe. In fact, the hotel kind of had a European vibe. The location is great. Short distance to Times Square, close to the subway, lots of good eats. Staff are friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

We stayed at the Pestana CR7 Times Square hotel for 8 nights and it was a 10/10 experience! We had the balcony suite on the top floor, and it felt so special and luxurious. The view was incredible, and the room was super comfortable. You could request housekeeping through the afternoon, which was nice because we tend to sleep in.
The staff was amazing—Colin at the front desk went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable!! On my birthday, there was wine, balloons, and a handwritten card in my room. Thank u Pestana!!

As a family of 4, with 2 tall teenage boys that stayed there a week, the rooms were way too small to accommodate our family. There was just enough room to move around the beds, no additional places to sit, only 2 drawers for clothes and a small rack to hang clothes, so it took a long time for us to get ready and super difficult function in the room. We had to ask for a full service on our rooms to ensure we got clean towels and our beds would be made- because it didn’t have a normal fitted sheet and made very weird.

Extremely friendly staff in a great location. 10 minute walk from Times Square and right beside the Bus station and nearest Subway station.
We spent a week here and couldn’t fault it. Staff were great and extremely helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were grand and cleaned daily.
If I’m to be back in New York I’ll be sure to stay in Pestana again!

I originally had left a fairly bad review for this hotel.
We did have a less than perfect experience here, but in retrospect I wish that we would have had the time to bring our complaints to the management at the hotel, rather than leaving unhappy, and posting a negative review. At this point and I believe had I our issues would have been resolved.
The purpose of the review process is not only to provide information for other potential guests, but to provide feedback to the hotel or business in question. As a business owner myself, it is not my objective to bash business with bad reviews. This principle slipped my mind in this case.
Upon leaving the review I originally posted, the hotel manager, Lilly, tried to reach out to me almost immediately, then my wife and then left me a message to reach out to her which I did. In our conversation it was apparent that although we did have a less than perfect stay, had I reached out to her while I was in the hotel; I feel the issues would have been resolved. Lilly was professional, friendly and courteous listening to the issues we had. In retrospect I should have reached out to her upon having issues so she could resolve them.
The lesson learned here, and I already knew it but forgot is, if a business is not aware of your issues, then you can't assume they can fix it.
