If you’ve ever dreamed of taking in Thailand’s awe-inspiring natural beauty, the Phranang Peninsula on the south west coast should be your next exotic escape. The luxurious Rayavadee hotel, Krabi, provides the perfect getaway, where you can enjoy incredible vistas across a sea that glitters like jewels, watch the lush greenery lazily swaying in the breeze, stretch out on the warm and welcoming beach and, of course, take in the drama of Thailand’s famous wind-carved rock formations. As your boat draws into the stunning cove, you’ll truly feel that you have arrived in your own secret corner of heaven.

To cement Rayavadee as one of the very best hotels in Krabi, Thailand’s ancient traditions are kept vividly alive in the appearance of the resort itself. Rayavadee is formed of individual pavilions, each one boasting two storeys of opulent beauty inside. Every detail has been carefully and lovingly realised, from the fine furnishings to the friendly and highly professional attitude of the hotel’s staff.

Whether you prefer to relax and absorb your glorious surroundings in peace, to strike out on an adventure in the jungle or over the water, or to enjoy a luxurious shopping spree, there are so many opportunities to fullfil your desires. Thai cuisine is, of course, famously delectable, and this Krabi hotel’s 5-star experience would not be complete without a meal at one of its four beautiful dining venues, one of which can be found in the hidden fairytale location of a beach grotto, a natural cave in the soaring limestone cliff face.

For those who wish for adventure and romance, a visit to the award-winning Rayavadee hotel will be a dream come true.

How far is the nearest beach?

You merely need to step out of your elegant pavilion to feel the soft, warm sand of Phra Nang Beach under your feet. Enjoy a gentle dip or a big splash in the safety of the cove.

Distance from airport

The transfer time from Krabi International Airport to Nong Nuch pier is 20 minutes and from the pier to the resort by boat takes an additional 20 minutes, or approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport.

Absolutely loved this place. Only villas, no ugly buildings, settled in nature. Super attantive staff, always smiling, plenty of animals like different kind of monkeys, waran, colorful butterflies 🦋. Everyday we got fresh fruit and chocolate cookies 🍪!!! Plenty of free water as well. The beaches are stunning and it was fun to canoe around the scenic rocks. All beaches are public, that’s why there were many tourist passing and climbing along the sunbeds near the beach. Our grown up kids enjoyed the many shops, massage places and cheap restaurants outside of the resort which was super close. We do recommend to go there and probably come back ourselves;)))

It's billed as a unique hotel and it totally is ! I've been blessed and fortunate to travel a lot in my life (hopefully lots more to go) and this is an outstanding experience. The hotel is nestled in essentially a Forrest on a beach (3 beaches actually). You really do feel like you are living in this vast forest property but with all the amenities of a modern hotel. However the forest and nature take center stage. Service, like everywhere in Thailand, is impeccable and always polite. Rooms are large and best I've stayed in for this type of holiday. It's 2 floors so myself and my wife had a nice bedroom and large bathroom, whilst my daughter (13) had the entire downstairs area with a nice comfy bed they had set up plus a downstairs toilet. Only a small annoyance was no storage downstairs. I think the hotel should provide a clothes rail. The hotel breakfast was good quality in a nice setting, Buffett style and menu options - all part of the package. Hotel restaurants are good , especially the Thai Restaurant and the Grotto. I am not a huge fan of the Asian restaurant at the beach , food is ok (nothing bad, busy not great).. Setting is very nice however in the day tike too many people on the beach right next to the restaurant sometimes sat almost at your table , slightly off putting .The Grotto gets some poor reviews at times on various platforms , I am perplexed by this as the setting is likely the top 10 place you will ever eat in! stunning views especially at sunset. the Grotto food is really good and has a good set of options (menu is very different between day and night). Yes It is not a high restaurant (although very expensive) but it's solid food, nothing wrong with it when I went, and I am very picky about food. . The slow cooked lamb shoulder for 2 was off the charts . In fact if anything it was too big. My daughter has steak and again very good. Please go for the setting, service and good you won't regret it. As for the pool area, this is is massive !! Literally ! The pool must be 35-40 meters in length and just as wide. Great infinity view over the beach. Oh And you get the odd Monkey visit :) who come down looking for food.. The pool is on Railey beach west (which is the much nicer partz east is basically a port) which is maybe the controversial part and will split people as it is busy with boats and people. However I loved it ! The beach is, yes , very very busy due to the tuk tuk boats etc. However don't overlook how beautiful the beach is in the morning and at night ! This is part of what Thailand island hopping life is. Also 'walking street' again on West Railey beach has loads of bars and restaurants which in first inspection might look like it's only for backpackers. However it is not ! Loads of families go there and we had some excellent food , very good and cheap. Great quality , zero issues. We have been to 'Railay Thai Cuisine' restaurant several times several times and the quality was great , freshly BBQd prawns, which were massive, plus all the usual all great Thai dishes at very good prices. Gets a relatively low score again I don't know why as there is zero wrong with the food , again I am picky and it was fine. Some people are moaning about the service, it can be slow at times for drinks , but the food service was fine. As for the best part of the hotel (so many to chose) Phranag Beach and umbrellas tree grove is stunning. Once you're here you will not want to leave, great place to relax overlooking the ocean and you can see Phi Phi islands in the background. The sundown there is unforgettable!.. in summary come to this hotel and it will not be a regret it You will have an amazing time and be thinking about how and when you will come back.

From the moment we arrived at the resort, it was clear that this was no ordinary getaway- it was an exceptional experience that transcended the very concept of luxury. Every detail, from the stunning architecture to the impeccable service, was tailored to perfection. *Accommodation*: Our villa was an absolute dream! Spacious, exquisitely designed, and equipped with every amenity one could possibly wish for. The panoramic ocean views from the private terrace were breathtaking, and the room's interior felt like a seamless blend of elegance and comfort. The bed was a cloud of softness, and the deep soaking tub overlooking the beach was pure bliss. *Service*: The staff here redefine hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the heartfelt goodbyes, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we felt like royalty. Personal concierges anticipated our every need, whether it was arranging a private sunset dinner on the beach or securing last-minute reservations at the finest restaurants. * Dining*: The culinary experience was nothing short of spectacular. Each meal was a work of art, from the freshest seafood to innovative international dishes. The attention to detail, the high-quality ingredients, and the presentation were all at the level of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The variety of dining options, whether casual or fine dining, ensured we were never bored. *Amenities*: The resort's amenities were extraordinary. We enjoyed a rejuvenating spa treatment that left us feeling completely renewed, and the infinity pool with ocean views was a perfect place to unwind. The resort offers exclusive daily activities, making every day feel like an adventure. *Location*: Situated in a pristine part of the world, the resort offers serene and stunning surroundings, whether you're relaxing on the beach, exploring nearby nature trails, or enjoying the endless sunsets over the water.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in the world but this has to be the best ever. This hotel is out of the ordinary. The views, the nature within the property and surrounding is breathtaking. The villas are stunning and so cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. The Grotto is magical. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this resort. You need to see it for yourself. Can’t wait to go back :)

My daughter got married in this resort it was absolutely beautiful, the villas were big and spacious. The grotto for a wedding is perfect. The wedding was very seamless Mrs. Pin was the wedding coordinator and handle every single detail for the wedding 5/5 customer service. The food during the reception was delicious and we hired DJ Ting for music and fire show ( he owns the last bar check that out too), Definitely will be coming back here.
