The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is polite. However, the location in St Lawrence Gap is far less than ideal due to excessive noise from neighboring bars. Good luck trying to sleep until 3 am.

They didn't give a hoot about my concern. That is Barbadian people anyhow. They are liars and they are rude.
Now, stayed during the pandemic week of June 13, 2021, and was quarantined to the room. Order six pack of beer and they ripped me off because I couldn't go across the street to purchase it. They charged $60 and they were tipped an additional $7. When I was released from they room and complained at the front desk, the lady manger did not care and acted like she was being bothered.
I knew that the beer was inexpensive because I had been on the island before. Shopping for groceries in Bridgetown, saw the beer priced at $2.50 per bottle.
Ordered food too and I wasn't appetizing.
Don't order room service otherwise they will scam you and feel no remorse about it. This is certainly not the proper way to make money by taking advantage of people, stealing from them , because people are in a vulnerable state.
Finally the room was fine but the chairs they had were not made well or poorly repaired because nails protruded from the seats poking us. The room featured a kitchenette.
There is a pool because not much of a beach exists, just rocks. Nice water view though.

Don’t get an old un renovated room.
One side they call the “traditional “ side is very old and run down. Don’t stay in those rooms.
The pool and beach areas are nice enough though.
See the attached pictures. Old and crusty.
No bathroom door handles. Just a slide latch that could be used if the door would shut all the way.
Have to unplug the clock to charge phone.
Old and unworking light fixtures from a horror movie.

It’s not the Hilton and they don’t pretend to be. Clean room, great location, friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a lovely hotel.

Horrible front desk security. My friend was locked out of her room. I visited front desk, to ask where I should walk to find her, he told me he'll call the room. How are you calling the room if she's locked out. His response " look, if you know where the room is you go"
This is when I raised my voice. Why are you speaking to me like this? Why is the service so nasty in some places on the island? Is this how you treat foreigners?
This is when he then calmed down. But it's probably just normal behavior for him.
I rate the overall rooms way outdated and old fashioned. Beds uncomfortable, and horrible horrible service. Wouldn't ever advise anyone to visit.
