Great location, friendly and helpful staff, for the most part. Some concerns include: uncomfortable beds and pillows, definitely tired interiors, kind of dirty in areas around the resort, and the food in the main restaurant was quite bland. Our room was not cleaned once in three days even though we left early for the day and had the door hanger requesting cleaning. It seems like a place that needs a management upgrade. Overall, not bad. But when you are forking out the dough for all-inclusive it should be better than this. Good people work here. Just needs someone in charge to improve it. Honestly, we would likely not come back here unless the reviews indicated a significant improvement.

Update: I received the one item that they were able to return to me (a strapless bra). It was new in the package when I brought it there. Someone has tried it on. It must not have fit and that's why I received it but not my purse nor unused underwear back. Please be mindful of housekeeping there. Review changed from 3 to 1 star.
THE GOOD. The grounds are palatial. The Turkish hamam is amazing.
THE BAD. The service left me wanting. I asked two times for assistance with my bath and shower because I couldn't get the main head to work and the handheld one's holster was broken. They never came to help me. One front desk agent rudely told me that I have bad handwriting when I turned in my laundry request. I replied, "thank you!" That confused his rude mind.
The cocktails weren't tasty for the most part. Just something significantly off like they had never tasted what they were making. The beach bar did offer the best Tom Collins I've had. I joked with my friend that maybe they are Muslim and cannot taste their creations.
I had a facial. The lady left for like 15+ minutes while I had my mask on. Usually, they should massage while the mask dries.
We were told dinner is only available on Friday and Monday. We arrived Friday. We were told there was no room for us. We departed Monday so that was not an option.
The buffet is mediocre. No room service available.
THE UGLY. There is something weird going on being the nail tech and her boss. I do not want to get her in trouble but he hits her. She doesn't speak English. He does. Also, somehow their credit card machine was broken for us (Americans) but not the Turkish man they serviced right before.
Lastly, I left some items in my room. Only one was returned to me. It is my fault for leaving them and I do appreciate their attempt to return something but how can only one item of a few be retrieved? I'm certain they did not throw away a leather and lace handbag that was in it's duster (I am so regretful for leaving it!).
CONCLUSION: I would not stay here again. The room design is extremely basic and the bed was overly firm (loved the size).
I was going to give 2 stars but the attempt to return something earned 3. Also, I was not penalized for an extremely late check out (I was at the spa!).

This used to be a grand hotel; it’s sprawling with an excellent beach and a lagoon pool. But it needs to be updated. Our shower didn’t work properly, there was dry rot in the bathroom and no top sheets, just scratchy blankets. We had to take four different elevators to beach level. No drink service on the beach or pool. Parts of the pirate themed pool falling apart. We got Covid after going here-no hygiene, no sneeze guards etc. Not enough dining chairs for dinner and wheelchair ramps at such a pitch as to be unusable. Staff helpful but the owner needs to remodel for safety and beauty. Not terribly wheelchair accessible.

This is a truly unique place. It’s close to Bodrum center, but you don’t need to leave the hotel because it has everything you need. The room was clean and cozy, offering a blend of historical charm with a modern bathroom. It was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed every day.
And the view… Oh, that view! I could spend hours just enjoying it.
The food was good, with a wide variety to choose from. However, there was only one type of fresh meal available each day.
I also want to mention that the staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Tarık, Baruş, and Eren—they were outstanding and deserve a round of applause!

The hotel was wonderful! The staff also did a great job, especially bartender Ceyhan who is working near the reception. Go to her if you want exceptional cocktails and friendly service!
