So pleased to have booked into this lovely hotel. Staff were all so very friendly and helpful. It has a wonderful size swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. The breakfast each morning had a very big range to choose from. Our room had a great size bed which was super comfy. It led out to a small terrace with sun beds and a private plunge pool. The hotel was built around 30 years ago but was beautifully decorated and updated to a high standard. Two minutes away from the beach and restaurants make this a great stay.
Would definitely recommend anyone looking for value for money.

The resort is beautiful and really well managed. The staff were very nice and accomdating. We had breakfast which was very tasty. If you need to relax and unwind this is the place. Our room was beautiful and had its own pool. The beach was a three minute walk.

We had the most amazing return visit in September. We first stayed back in 2012 for our wedding and have since returned a couple of times and each visit just gets better!
From Antonis the manager, to every other member of staff, thank you so much! Everyone is amazing and looked after us so well. We treated ourselves to the Honeymoon Suite and it exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Victoria who looked after us this year!
Breakfast is superb and everywhere is beautifully clean!
We have already booked our stay for next year!

We cannot speak highly enough of the Kastelli Resort or its lovely staff.
The hotel is beautiful and immaculate at all times – here are a few of the things we were most impressed by:
- There was never any ‘race’ to get a pool lounger. There were more than enough loungers for all guests and, because there are four main pools, the areas are peaceful with plenty of space. The loungers are also exceptionally comfortable.
- Food was all high quality, delicious and fairly priced. The milkshakes are tasty! The breakfast buffet is a broad spread from continental to country specialties, including plenty of fresh fruit (I did see a TripAdvisor review which said they only have tinned fruit – they did have tinned but that was in addition to, not instead of). Plus lots of off menu things like eggs, coffees etc.
I should also mention that breakfast is served until 11am which if you are experiencing jet lag or are just someone who is slow to get going in the morning is great. And sushi and lunchtime was AWESOME. One portion enough though!
- This is a hotel that loves towels. There are plentiful beach towels around the pool areas, these are replenished regularly throughout the day. The hotel room towels are also replaced twice daily.
- Staff are friendly, extremely helpful but not intrusive. They regularly come round all the pool areas to check if patrons need drinks, food or anything else. Room’s spotless, cleaned daily and fresh towels every night. Also helped us book our car, restaurants and trips - I’m always dubious that we’ll be upsold or just using suppliers who are friends of the hotel - but no, everything was great and stress free.
- On our trip we unfortunately had an incident that required a hospital trip for our child (nothing to do with the hotel, just the way it goes). The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful. They first got a doctor on the phone right away and once the doctor said we should go to hospital, the hotel arranged a car (at no cost) which whizzed us straight off. They also covered a car to bring us back later when we were discharged. A member of hotel staff even popped to the hospital to check we were ok and whether we needed anything!
- We used both the gym and the spa during our stay, both of which are a very good standard.
- In terms of getting out and about, the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach which has a very long stretch of restaurants and bars. Even though we were near everything there was no noise.
- We hired a car – which was relatively inexpensive – and were able to cover pretty much the whole island in one day. Although there are some steep and narrow roads, the road system is pretty straightforward.
- We also got the bus to the capital Thira a couple of times – it’s 2 Euros per person so a much better plan than getting a cab which is very expensive. The bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and the last bus back from Thira is midnight.
- The only other trip we did, which we would thoroughly recommend is a boat trip with Santorini Yachting Club. Excellent staff, super tasty food and really enjoyable experience.
More generally, Santorini is beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. People are so friendly - and I’m a suspicious so and so 😀 - just can’t believe we only discovered it now.
We loved our time there and will 100% be coming back soon. Thank you!

Amazing place to stay at. Book the luxury suites , its way nicer and ask for Victoria the beautiful inside outside lady. She will make evrything easy and comfortable for you. Excellent service and amazing clean rooms.
I only wish they could change their pillows and the spa massage could be more professional. Its pricey considering the level of luxury and professionalism.
