One of the cleanest resorts we have been to. We stayed at the secrets side - guests also have access to Breathless from this side. The Rosewater restaurant for breakfast and lunch was amazing, they had quite a few vegetarian options as well. All the staff here are very friendly and welcoming! Only downside - the beach water is not blue (no worries because the pools are great).

We had a fantastic stay at Secrets. Our room was amazing, spacious and modern with a nice tub on the balcony. We were in building 3 which was a great spot as we were super close to the preferred club lounge and accessing Breathless too. The food and drinks are good - lots of choices. The interior of the restaurants is very nice and have great aesthetic and vibe. Service was fantastic at this hotel. Particularly the drinks and food service at the Secrets pool.

We recently stayed at Secrets Riviera Cancun, and we couldn't have had a better experience. The resort itself was wonderful, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us, even when the weather threw some challenges their way. A special shoutout to Luis, our bartender at the Preferred Bar, who really elevated our stay. He was always attentive, answered all our questions with a smile, and made sure we enjoyed our time. The Preferred Bar was a highlight for us, as some of the other bars were a bit overcrowded, but Luis managed to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that made us feel special. The entertainment team also deserves recognition. We had an absolute blast with the nightclub activities—karaoke, the silent disco, and a fantastic cabaret show. They brought so much fun to our evenings! And finally, the food! Every restaurant we tried was elegant and served absolutely delicious dishes. We couldn't pick a favorite—they were all fantastic. Thank you, Secrets Riviera Cancun, for a memorable trip. We'll definitely be back!

We were there for NYE so let me begin. Pros: The place (grounds) is beautiful! The staff are all super nice and very helpful. Service was great, didn't take too long to get drinks, unless you were at the Breathless pool, that took forever, but there was a huge crowd, so understandable. We ordered food at the pool on the secrets side and didn't take too long. We had a swim out pool ocean front, and charlieboy always came by and checked on us. So, about the beach..... the sand and chairs are wonderful! Sand is super soft we really enjoyed. The water is not good, seaweed and not clear, like murky water. We did not go in, it was not inviting, although there were a few quests that went in, maybe two people. ** I did not give them negative points/stars for the water, out of their control. Pools are amazing!!!! We really loved all three! They are very very nice; we had no issues finding chairs. Again, the staff is so nice! Con: only one, and unfortunately, is the food! It was mediocre at best! We paid extra money for the NYE steak and lobster, and it was so overdone, we couldn't eat. The restaurants are just good, nothing to rave about. We did NOT enjoy the food at the restaurants. The Secrets pool bar food was good, burger and ceviche were good, not great, just good. We have stayed at Breathless Soul, 2 years ago, they were 9 months open and they food there was amazing, top notch, just delicious! The coffee bar was really good, I forget the name, but it was delicious and cute little place. The Breathless Pool was a party!!! We loved it, the staff did an amazing job with the energy! Crazy party, super loud and crowded. We spent the day there and loved it! Met a lot of nice people! The bars had nice huge TV's, it was nice watching Texas beat AZ, and all the other games. Again, the staff was amazing there as well. We used Amstar for our travel to and from the airport, and it was great, no issues, checked up on us, made sure that we had the arrival time and departure time correct, great service from them! the staff onsite was great, very helpful and nice! Overall, we would not come back here. The hotel is dated, we had issues with our AC (which was fixed very promptly), and mostly because of the food. The staff does an amazing job keeping the place looking nice.

Secrets is a lovely resort. The resort is quiet and very relaxing. The gym is a nice size and it is adequate. The beach is not great for playing in the water. Rocks, seaweed, and common ocean debris. I am not sure if it is because of the time of year (December) or tide. If you want night life. You can walk to the Breathless side of the resorts. They have karaoke and a dance club. I think the electrical setup in the rooms can be upgraded. Only meaning the location of the HVAC, and light switched. The staff have been very accommodating.
