Great stay. Kudos to the team for making me our stay comfortable. We experienced full moon and sunrise view here. Amazing amazing. The gazebo near the entrance is excellent. Water villa is must experience here. Don't forget to enjoy the complimentary activities like yoga, Snorkeling training and swim in kakuni beach and burn urself in salty Indian ocean 😂Thank you again to the team for making our Maldives trip memorable.

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa was chosen by me for it's Location and uniqueness. It is very near to the Airport. During the period we stayed there was full of amazement and fun. Kids loved it a lot. Food was mouthwatering. A great variety of foods to choose from different type of restaurant. Excellent views round the Island.

Wonderful place. We had a water bunglow, and it was a great feeling to be right on the sea. We could get in and out of the water whenever we wanted. The choices of the restaurants were also great. More importantly, their services were great. They were going all out to please their guests. Also, we are glad that we took the full board package. Otherwise, meals are expensive . The island is all sheraton. It is a small island with lots of greenery. When you are not in the water, you can walk around the island. Overall it was an excellent memorable trip

Hard to fault. If forced to criticise anything I'd say the activities are somewhat disorganised but then it was early September, the quiet season just after schools have reopened and families are not there (a good thing for us as an older couple) so maybe the whole place was recovering from a very busy summer.
But the pluses were plentiful. Wonderful food (Chef Mostafa), eagerly helpful and happy staff, beautiful gardens, clean sand, tranquil water. In short, exactly what you'd come here for.
Bear in mind that this resort is only 15 mins by boat from Velana Airport. That's great in terms of not having to endure a long bumpy speedboat trip (we've spent an hour on that on a previous Maldives holiday to a more remote island ) but the downside is that you're looking at residential tower blocks on Male only a few kms from your otherwise idyllic beach. So you wont get the complete "away from everything" feeling of other atolls in the Maldives. And the Sheraton is quite old so its "charmingly aged" or perhaps a little tired and in need of an update. Its a matter if taste.
Overall, the place is lovely.

Beautiful place! Surprised at the disinterest and lack of help from the staff. Food is WILDLY over priced! I’d recommend going to the Asian restaurant or the bar for any meal under $100. Getting to and from the resort by boat is challenging and expensive. We waited an hour and a half to get there and were told we would be able to arrange a ride back when we needed to. When the time came they wanted to charge $300 to get back to the mainland. Bar tenders are uninterested in making drinks. And they tried to tack on a series of extra charges to our bill when we were checking out. Double check your itemized receipt!! I will say the outdoor shower was amazing, as was the female DJ set at sunset!
