A Tranquil Escape at Six Senses Laamu! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a tranquil getaway at Six Senses Laamu, and we're delighted to share our positive impressions. From the moment we arrived, the resort's commitment to providing an exceptional experience was evident. The staff's warmth and attentiveness contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. The natural beauty of Laamu, combined with the thoughtfully designed accommodations, created a perfect setting for relaxation. The various amenities, from the spa to the dining options, exceeded our expectations. The resort seamlessly integrates luxury with sustainability, showcasing a dedication to responsible tourism. A wonderful resort that blends luxury with old school indulgences like 54 flavors of unlimited ice cream and a cheese and charcuterie platter for breakfast that you pick up from a cold storage room. The emphasis on environmental sustainability, and the absolutely marvelous Shell Center makes it even better.

This resort is just heaven on earth. You always feel very welcome, the personnel is so incredibly friendly, and they read every dream off your lips. Never been to a better place, especially Manish and Sagar have made our trip very special, besides every other wonderful person working there. Only keep in mind that the trip from Male airport to this island takes another hour and is also pretty pricey with about 800€! Besides that, the "extras" you can book are all pretty high-priced, but you can definitely enjoy your stay there as well without any extra bookings. The food has been exceptional every time, and I have to say I am a very picky and health-conscious eater. Also specifically loved the sustainability approach, with THE SHELL being on the island and giving regular talks on marine life; with I could have stayed for another 100 days, also because you feel very homely, and it is not over-the-top luxurious but quality work and natural :) Thank you so much for this exceptional experience, will definitely come back!

When it comes to describing my recent stay at the Six Senses Laamu resort in the Maldives, it's hard not to sound overly enthusiastic. But to be honest, this place genuinely blew me away with its exceptional service, amenities, and overall experience. Right from the start, the staff were attentive and caring. I felt welcomed and well-taken care of throughout my stay, which is a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction. The facilities at the resort were top-notch. The 2-bedroom villa I stayed in was not just comfortable, but it had an amazing view. Waking up every morning to the sight of the beautiful Indian Ocean was truly something else. Not to mention, the spa was great. Whether you're into wellness or just need a good relaxing session, you won't be disappointed. Now, let's talk about the food. The Leaf restaurant was a highlight. The chef clearly knows what he's doing because every meal was delightful. It was a blend of traditional Maldivian flavors with a modern touch, making each dining experience unique and exciting. What really surprised me though, was their Ice Cream Studio. They had more than 48 flavors! I never thought I would find such a wide variety of ice cream at a resort. It was a fun and unexpected touch that definitely added to the overall charm of the place. Lastly, one of the unique features of the resort was its 'barefoot policy'. At first, it might seem odd, but walking around barefoot made the experience feel more natural and relaxing. It really drove home the point that this place is all about comfort and being in tune with nature. In conclusion, I had a fantastic time at Six Senses Laamu. Everything, from the villa and view, to the food and facilities, was superb. I especially loved the wide variety of ice cream and the unique barefoot policy. It felt like a little slice of paradise and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.
